Lucas used his skill upgrade card.
Your skill Sword Mastery (E) has been upgraded to Sword Mastery (D).
Different images of stances and sword movements appeared in his head.
Lucas took out his sword and repeated those movements.
'This feels so much better.'
'Oh right. I have 12 attribute points, let's use them.'

'Nice.'
'Now what should I do the rest of the day?'
'I can't go to either of the two remaining E-rank gates. They are using it for research.'
'That just leaves the three F-rank goblin gates.'
'They plan on clearing one and keeping the other two.'
Lucas decided to head to one of the F-rank goblin gates.

When he entered the gate by himself, he decided to hunt alone without his avatars this time.
'They already give little experience. If I have to share that with my avatars, it's gonna be practically nothing.'
'I also want to test out my new fire magic knowledge and also practice with my sword.'
Lucas started walking in a random direction.
He soon saw 3 goblins standing over a bleeding rabbit.
'Perfect. I can use this opportunity to use my first fire spell on them.'
Lucas concentrated and started moving the mana in his body like those images told him.
'This incredibly warm feeling is so weird, but also refreshing.'
He soon gathered the warm mana in his right hand that was pointed at the goblins.
In his head he was creating a symbol made of different patterns with his mana.
As soon as the red symbol was created in the back of his mind, the mana in his arm got a lot hotter.
And in a matter of seconds he felt a powerful surge coming out.
Right then a small fireball, around the size of a coconut shot out.
It flew straight towards one of the goblins and hit his shoulder.
The goblin started screaming from the pain the fireball inflicted.
The fire didn't stay for long, but his flesh was severely burned.
'Even though I was aiming at his head, that was really cool.'
Lucas then chared at the three goblins with his sword and quickly beheaded them.
'Hm, I definitely need some practice with my fire magic, but I like my first results.'
'I'm sure I can do more than just a fireball, but it's better to focus on one thing and perfect it first.'
'The first thing I will work on is my aim.'
'I also need to learn how to cast the spell faster and make it more powerful, but that will take some time.'
Lucas was excited at finally being able to use magic.
He had the mana shield skill before, but for that he only needed to activate the skill.
'I think the more I practice and learn with this magic knowledge the better I get and I'll probably be able to upgrade it's rank on my own.'
He quickly started having way too many thoughts so he calmed down and chose to keep practicing on trees before hunting more goblins.

After practicing the fireball spell for over an hour, Lucas started hunting down goblins with his sword.
From time to time he used a fireball to attack goblins.
The fireballs lacked power, but most of the time he managed to hit their heads.
Getting hit in the head with a fireball was fatal. They either died slowly or were just incapable of fighting anymore.
After an hour of hunting, Lucas destroyed the gate core.
He didn't receive any rewards anymore though.
After that Lucas went back home.
'Even though the gate didn't give me any reward, it was still a productive experience.'
Lucas chose to relax the rest of the day.
'I haven't really had much time to relax since the gates appeared.'
Lucas ordered a lot of food for himself and his avatars. They then ate together and watched a movie.
It was a very strange experience for both him and his avatars.
Later that night Lucas was in bed with Grishna after they did the deed.
"Master. Today was really fun and movies are really interesting."
"Yes I think so too Grishna."
"The best part is still when we mate though, master. I love it when you are inside me and hold me."
Lucas chuckled.
"Yeah, I feel the same."
'Though people might judge me for this, because some might see Grishna as a monster.'
'I think differently. I don't discriminate against anyone and I also believe that Grishna is beautiful.'
'If people weren't so distracted by her skin color, they would definitely think the same.'
'I wonder what tomorrow has in store for us.'
Lucas and Grishna fell asleep in eachothers embrace.

The next morning.
Ring.. Ring.. Ring..
Lucas's phone was ringing and he woke up.
He lazily picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Morning sunshine. This is Bacher."
"Oh hey. Why are you calling me this early?"
"Zurich now has a branch of the Swiss Awakend Association. Schmid has become its head and I was hired as a team leader."
"Okay cool. And?"
"Haha you are aren't a morning person. Let me get to the point then."
"In a few hours every person in the country will get an urgent message. The Swiss Awakend Association will command every awakened in the country to register at the closest branch."
"I was calling you to ask if you want to come in first since it will be a hassle for you when everyone starts coming in."
"Oh I see. Alright tell me the address, I'll be there in an hour."
"Great!"
Captain Bacher or rather team leader Bacher now, send him the address and hung up.
"Grishna wake up. We are heading out."

Almost an hour later.
Lucas stood in front of a massive building.
'What the fuck?! This is just a branch?'
'And how did they establish this so fast?'
Lucas stared for a while before entering the building.
