In counless cities around the world gates started appearing again.
Currently in Zurich there was a storm going on and it was raining heavily.
37 gates were forming all over Zurich.
Lucas could sense the enormous shift of mana everywhere.
Although Lucas thought that the appearance of gates was good for his guild, the amount of gates still scared him.
'Why are so many coming at once?'
'It's like everything before now was just a trial period.'
'I can see 8 gates from my balcony alone since it's high above ground, but I can sense a lot more in different directions.'
Grishna walked towards Lucas from behind and hugged him. She could sense that Lucas was anxious.
"Don't worry master. I will always be by your side to make sure nothing happens to you."
Lucas turned around and embraced her.
"I know that Grishna. You don't need to worry about me."
Lucas walked towards his large couch and sat down. He grabbed the remote control and turned on the television.
'Seems like there is an emergency broadcast on every channel.'
"To everyone watching this right now, please stay inside your homes! We do not know yet if monsters will be coming out of the gates, but urge everyone to be prepared!"
"The analysts of the Swiss Awakend Association have apparently found out the ranks of these gates with a new device they have developed."
"So far these are the confirmed gates in Zurich."
"One C-rank gate, 6 D-rank gates, 12 E-rank gates and 18 F-rank gates."
"We do not know what the association plans on doing yet, but we all hope that the awakend out there can protect our citizens!"
Lucas turned the television off.
'This is a lot worse than I thought.'
'I don't know if my avatars can handle a C-rank gate. Even the D-rank wouldn't have been possible if we hadn't killed them in small numbers."
Although Lucas was nervous, he wasn't scared for his safety since he had his avatars.
He just wanted everything to go well with his new guild.
Ring.. Ring.. Ring..
Suddenly Lucas heard his phone ringing.
He picked it up and answered.
"Yeah?"
"Lucas, this is Schmid."
"Oh hey Schmid. I assume you're calling because of what's happening."
"Yes. The F and E-rank gates will break in less than an hour. I want your guild to clear as many as you can in the shortest time possible."
"Can you so it?"
"Sure, but I need your permission to let my summons move on their own."
"You got it! I will send a description of your two summons to every association member right away!"
"Alright thanks."
"Good luck to us both! Goodbye Lucas."
Branch head Schmid hung up the phone.
"Grishna go into the E-rank gates and aim for their cores as fast as possible."
"Yes master!"
Grishna immediately took off.
"Krasbert you do the same with the F-ranks."
"Got it!"
He also took off.
'What should I do about Ghost?'
'I could also send him, but without people knowing.'
'But I don't want investigations to happen. It's too risky.'
Lucas then thought of something.
"Ghost, go investigate the C-rank gate. Just make sure you don't die."
"Understood master."
Ghost then took off as well.
Lucas decided to call his guild members.
He ordered for Ruben, Sarah and Chima to clear the F-rank gates as a team while he moved alone to clear E-rank gates.
Lucas also ordered for the other necessary guild members to be on stand by.
Leah and his lawyer would be in contact with the association to keep track of the gates the Helios guild were clearing.
The logistics department was also ready to handle any monster corpses they would bring.
While other members of the guild were investigating and documenting everything they would find out about the new gates.
Almost everyone in the guild was busy doing something.

There were 5 minutes left before the gates would break.
They all had around 40 minutes to clear gates.
Sarah, Chima and Ruben cleared 2 F-rank gates.
Krasbert cleared 5 F-rank gates.
Lucas cleared 2 E-rank gates.
And lastly, Grishna cleared 6 E-rank gates.
Everyone did amazing, given that they had only 40 minutes and considering their strength.
There were now 4 E-rank and 11 F-rank gates remaining that were going to break.
The good thing was that thanks to the coordination between the Helios guild and the association, they were all better prepared to receive the monsters.
At every gate there stood teams of awakend to face the monsters that would come out.
Lucas, his avatars and the Helios guild members all stood in front of different gates as well.
Hundreds of the registered awakened in Zurich also decided to help fight these monsters.
Thanks to the danger that everyone faced, people started to join together and became more courageous.
The F and E- rank gates were the same as before, wich was good news for everyone since they were familiar with the monsters.
Once the 5 minutes were up the monsters started coming out and charged at the awakend that were close by standing in formations.
Almost every gate had association members who were former military officers to give commands.
Soon everyone was fighting the monsters.
Lucas was currently standing alone in front of an E-rank gate. He was facing goblins, hobgoblins and blue forest wolves.
While fighting the monsters and killing countless of them, he entered a zone and his sword movements became more precise.
All of a sudden Lucas blinked and realized that there were no monsters left.

A couple hours later every monster was successfully killed by the awakend.
Lucas and many more leveled up quite a lot.
Krasbert leveled up twice and reached level 12.
Lucas also reached level 15 and this time every stat increased by 3. Including attribute and avatar points. His sword mastery also went from D~B. Once while he was fighting it improved thanks to a breakthrough and the second time when he reached level 15.
Grishna also leveled up a couple times and reached level 13.
But there was one thing Lucas was most excited about.
He now had 26 avatar points.
