Of the 18 soldiers, there were only two women and the same for the 13 of awakened civilians.
The ones that stood out the most to Lucas were 4 men in the military, including the Captain. And 3 of the awakend, including Ruben Tavher.

Lucas observed that most soldiers had at least one skill, while the other awakened had almost none with skills.
While Captain Bacher was telling everyone about their strategy, Lucas noticed that a lot of people on his side were still staring at him.
'The Avatars must have really put a dent in their minds.'
After the 1 hour talk on strategy, they were told to put on military uniforms fit for fighting.

In Zurich, many teams were ready to head into the gates. Including the one Lucas was in.
Lucas was standing among the 32 people in front of the blue gate. It was almost 4 meters high and there were fences put up all around it.
'Now that we are so close to entering it, I am kind of nervous.'
After a pep talk from Captain Bacher, they all walked into the gate with their weapons in hand.
For a single second everything went black. Right after, they felt some discomfort and dizziness.
When it all settled, they saw that they were in the middle of a normal looking forest.
'It looks like a normal forest, except for the gate behind us.'
The first thing they did was creating 4 groups of 8 people each.
Then Captain Bacher told Ruben to use Mana Sense.
'It's good that he told us about his unique ability. It makes things easier.'
Ruben then told them what he found in a 500 meter radius.
"There are 4 small groups up north, 3 small groups to the east, 1 big group to the west and 2 small groups to the south."
"Is that all?" Captain Bacher asked.
"Yes, and they are all around the same level."
"Okay, good job Ruben!"
Meanwhile, Lucas was thinking that if there is a boss, it must be outside of the 500 meter radius.
Captain Bacher interrupted his thoughts.
"Alright, everyone move in the four different directions with your respective teams."
Lucas went to the west towards the big group with his team.
Michael Kahl was the team leader, while the rest were 4 soldiers and 2 civilians.
After walking in a slow pace for a few minutes to avoid any traps, they finally saw the big goblin group.
Michael Kahl spoke up.
"Alright everyone! Focus and put your guards up. There are more than 20 goblins and they have noticed us."
Lucas quickly summoned his avatars.
He also used Odin's Eye to check the goblins levels.
'There are 24 goblins. 4 are level 3, 9 are level 2 and the rest are level 1.'
"Sir, can I send out my summons to fight them first?"
"Yes, that's a good idea."
'It's good that I went with Kahl's team instead of Gürt. The other guy kept staring me down.'
"Okay, Krasbert and Grishna, move out!"
They immediately followed his orders.
The goblins also ran towards them, but before Krasbert even reached them, an arrow pierced a level 3 goblin's skull.
'Grishna is taking out the higher level ones first, good.'
Krasbert also moved fast and right after reaching the goblin group, he killed two at once and then went for another two.
The team all watched in awe as the duo took out the whole goblin group in a couple of minutes.
Krasbert got some minor scratches while Grishna was spotless.
One awakened guy talked first.
"Damn! Lucas, your summons are really powerful!"
"Yes, thanks."
Internally, Lucas was really happy that he got all the experience.
