Doctor Lizard was still raging ineffectually.

About half an hour later, Peter noticed that Doctor Lizard's body was shrinking, and a lot of mud was falling to the ground, which were the dead cells that hadn't received energy to repair.

Finally, Doctor Lizard's face completely reverted to human form.

Afterward, Peter found a convenience store on the side of the road and called the police from there, also requesting some clothes for Doctor Connors.
Even though he was guilty, he was still a well-known scholar. Letting him run around naked on the street would be a bit cruel.
When the person on the other end of the line learned that the caller was Spider-Man, and that he had also captured the Lizard-Man, they were clearly stunned.
But soon, Captain Stacy arrived in person with a team.
Peter brought Doctor Connors out of the sewer and handed him over to Captain Stacy.
