Kit opened the door and saw me standing before his doorstep. He slammed the door in my face before I could say anything.'Damn, does he hate me that much?' I thought to myself as I raised my hand to knock again.
He opened the door and was about to bite my head off when he heard me apologize. I handed him a ticket to a BL fanbase meeting of his favorite actor."Do you think a ticket to a fanbase meeting would make me forget all the humiliation I endured throughout my junior high?" he said with a blank expression, lips pressed together, eyes emotionless, as if the apology didn't matter."No! That's not what I meant with the ticket. I'm not giving it to you hoping it'll make you forget those years, it's to show you that I want to make up for all the years I teased you. I know this won't make up for everything I did, and it's going to take time for you to forgive me, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes."
I said, trying to show him how sorry I was, but he wasn't making it easy for me.
While we were still talking, Phi New arrived. He came to check how Kit was doing and was surprised to see us talking to each other without fighting. He thought he was dreaming, so he pretended as if he didn't see me.
"Phi, are you angry at Wit?" he asked in disbelief, searching New's face for any hint of explanation."No! I'm not mad at him. I wasn't sure if he was real, or if I was hallucinating, so I wanted to make sure he's real before I greeted him," he said, poking me with his index finger.
(Hahahaha!)"Ohho! Phi, will you stop poking? You're going to put a hole in him," he said, laughing and revealing his cute, breathtaking smile that always made my heart skip a beat."Well, that's because every time you two are together, you're always fighting like cats. I just wanted to make sure he's real," he said, pointing at us with a deep sigh, slight head shake, and pinched nose bridge, as if trying to stay calm while explaining."Never mind all that, I'm happy you've stopped fighting and now we can all start hanging out together," he said, revealing a smile and sigh of relief.
I had to go because Max and Khai were waiting for me so we could go eat at our favorite restaurant, so I said my goodbyes and left.
I was also happy that I made peace with Kit, making it less hard to confess my love to him, but I still had a long way to go.
When I arrived at my dorm, I found Max and Khai trying to hit on the girls living next door to me. But as soon as they saw me, they rushed towards me asking to take videos and selfies with me. As soon as they were done, they left—forgetting that Khai and Max had asked for their contacts.
"Ohhho! Ai' Wit! Do you always have to ruin our chances of getting new girlfriends? It's not like doing that will make Kit fall for you," he said, releasing a heavy sigh, rolling his eyes, tilting his head back, lips pressed together in frustration."Please forgive me for being too handsome, and for your information, I don't need to ruin your chances of getting a new girl to make Kit fall for me. We're all good now; we're on talking terms," I said boasting, then started humming as I walked over to open the door."Ohhho! You're in a good mood, what is it? Did he give you a peck on your cheeks?" he said as he wrapped his arm around my neck while I was busy unlocking the door."I bet he's happy because his love for Kit made him drunk," he said teasing me. Max started laughing so hard that Khai even told him to shut up.
We got into the room, I went to change my clothes while they played games, waiting for me to get changed.
While they were still waiting, my older sister knocked at the door. They both rushed to see who was knocking. When they opened, they found a cute, good-looking girl they didn't know—it was Wit's older sister.
She asked if I was around because she really wanted to see me. They invited her into the house. They didn't know she was my older sister because they knew I had one, but they had only met her once before she moved overseas when we were in middle school.
They started hitting on her, telling her how good they would treat her if she became their girlfriend. What was even worse, they told her she didn't need me because they could take good care of her if she knew what they meant.
She was so confused by what Max and Khai were saying to her, but fortunately I came out before anything could get even worse.
I was happy to see my big sister because she has been away since I was young, and after returning, she was always away on business trips.
Max and Khai were very confused because they thought I was dating Phi May while secretly having a crush on Kit.
