Arabella's long life was due to her arrival while he was talking behind her back. Callum was extremely reluctant to meet Arabella for personal matters. In fact, not just Arabella; he hated everyone who met him for personal matters during work hours, as it was so disruptive to his current activities. Unless his beloved woman suddenly came to him, of course, he would be very happy. Because his beloved woman was the one who kept him tame while he was working.
For now, Callum wanted to figure out how to get rid of this annoying woman. He greeted the uninvited visitor with a forced smile and bowed his head, signaling his assistant to leave the room. Now he was left facing this cunning woman in the cold office.
"What brings you here?" Callum asked coldly as he sat down on the sofa.
Arabella smiled broadly, sitting down next to the handsome CEO and wrapping her arms around him tightly. "Did you sleep well last night?"
"Yes, as usual I slept soundly."
"Actually, I feel something's different about you today. Your face looks fresher. Has something happened to you?"
Callum slowly released the cunning woman's touch. "My son made a joke this morning. That's why I'm still thinking about it."
Her brow furrowed. "But, doesn't your son like to joke around every day?"
"Today, he managed to make me laugh out loud. Especially since we played hide-and-seek before school."
"Erdin is getting cuter and cuter. I think I should play with him sometime."
His arms crossed over his chest. "But, even now, Erdin still doesn't like you. Don't you realize that?"
"Yes, I do notice." A ragged breath escaped her lips. "Even though I want to be a good mother to him, it seems he still wishes his birth mother were alive."
"I've lectured him countless times. His mother has been missing since the accident five years ago. But it seems my little boy still doesn't understand what adults are saying."
"That's why you should let me play with him. Who knows, maybe over time, he'll accept me as his mother."
It's more likely that Callum didn't allow Arabella to become Erdin's stepmother because she was a dangerous woman to him. Instead, he was now thinking of a way to get rid of Arabella as soon as possible. However, when would be the right time to get rid of this annoying woman? He could only maintain a professional demeanor to avoid Arabella suspecting him.
"Arabella, if there is nothing important to discuss, you should just go back to your office."
"Callum, did you just kick me out?"
"I didn't mean to kick you out, actually. But I have a meeting coming up. Do you want the meeting I've worked so hard to plan to be postponed because of you?"
Arabella clenched her fists as she got up from the sofa. She knew Callum meant to get rid of her as soon as possible. However, he was deliberately hiding his feelings to avoid ruining their friendship. But if this continued, how could she marry him so quickly? Would she have to use another method to get him to comply?
"Okay, I won't bother you now. Important meetings can't be postponed."
"Sometime I will invite you to dinner together, as an apology from me."
"Actually, I just want you to at least pay attention to me. Then, you invite me to meet your son too. I want to hang out with him."
"I will introduce you to my son when my son is ready to accept you again."

Meanwhile, Edith was still daydreaming in her study, staring at her sketchbook. Since last night, her mind had been restless, as she remained curious about Callum's background. A handsome CEO known for his cold-hearted nature, how could he have chosen her as his secret nanny and VIP designer so readily? There were so many women more perfect than him.
Edith had actually been feeling her heart pounding ever since she met Callum. Moreover, their brief encounter this morning at school had made her feel very comfortable, and she wanted to chat with him longer. Every time she saw the CEO's handsome face, whether on social media or in person, she couldn't control her pounding heart.
"Edith, what's wrong with you today? Why have you been daydreaming since this morning?" the assistant asked innocently.
Edith immediately shook her head and focused on the laptop screen again. "It's okay. It's just that my daughter asked me to play first this morning."
"By the way, are you sure you don't want to hire a nanny for your daughter anymore? Why do you suddenly want to take care of her now?"
"Because I promised my daughter that I would spend more time with her. So, it looks like you'll have to help me out more often."
"Even though I could accompany Eliana to play as usual."
"Renata, a child, actually prioritizes playing with their biological parents. She enjoys playing with you, but she's been missing me more. So, before she hates me, I want to change my principles."
"Okay, I won't force you. The important thing is that Eliana doesn't cry anymore because he feels lonely." Renata rested her chin on her hand for a moment. "But why don't you also ask Cliff to help you look after your child? Aren't they quite close?"
"Eliana once told me that he did like Cliff, but he didn't feel like a real father figure to him. He only liked Cliff as an uncle."
Edith slapped her forehead for a moment as she prepared to grab her sling bag. "Oh my! I almost forgot about Cliff! I had an appointment to meet him at the cafe."
Edith hurried into the cafe and approached the young man waiting for her at a seat near the window. She sat opposite her friend, wiping the sweat from her cheeks.
"Let me wipe your sweat." Cliff spontaneously wiped the sweat that was flowing down his ex-fiancée's cheek using a handkerchief.
At the same time, Callum entered the cafe with Patrick, his eyes fixed on his ex-lover making out with his enemy.
