Meanwhile, Callum was still busy playing with his twins at home. He showed off his culinary talents, leaving his little daughter in awe. He had long wanted to cook something for his daughter. His wish finally came true thanks to his ex-girlfriend giving him this golden opportunity.
After cooking several dishes, he placed them all on the table. His cheeks flushed red as he stared at the little princess, still in awe.
"My daughter, you haven't even tasted my cooking yet, but you already look so happy."
"Of course, Dad. I thought you weren't a good cook."
Callum stroked his little daughter's head. "I can cook thanks to your mom, too. She used to teach me how to cook unique recipes."
"But why did Dad get separated from Mom?" Eliana lowered her head and swung her tiny legs. "I've wanted Dad so much all this time."
"Actually, this is an adult problem. You don't need to know, but there are certainly many evil adults who want to separate us. This isn't what your mother or I want, but because of an incident five years ago, our relationship is a bit complicated now."
"I really like you, Dad. Actually, the first time I saw you, I knew."
Erdin also sighed weakly. "I really like mommy, too. The first time I saw her, I really wanted to hug her. Moreover, her very gentle attitude makes me want to pamper her."
Callum looked at his twins with a relaxed smile. "Kids, if you want your mother and I to be together again, you'll have to be very supportive of us. Every time your mother is stubborn and keeps avoiding me, it's your job to persuade her."
"Does daddy love mommy as much as a prince in a fairy tale?" Eliana asked with a sweet wink.
"I love your mother more than anyone else in the world. Even though we faced unexpected hardships five years ago, my feelings for her have never changed. Even now, I still want to pursue her. I won't let her marry another man."
Eliana pursed her lips, weakly moving her father's shirt sleeve. "Dad, actually, mom is quite close to another man."
"Is that guy named Cliff?"
"How did you know, Dad?"
Callum lifted the corners of his lips confidently. "Because Cliff has always had his eye on your mother. But they weren't allowed to marry."
"Why? It seems like Uncle Cliff really loves Mom."
"No. As of now, they are not allowed to marry. Your mother must marry me. That's why I need your cooperation, my daughter."
"Then, what about me?" Erdin asked, winking as well.
Callum rolled his eyes. "Of course, I'll need your help too, my son. You just have to persuade your mother so she won't hate me."
"Dad, but how long are we going to keep pretending? I can't wait to see you marry Mom. I love eating ice cream with Mom."
"I want mommy to live happily with daddy like a princess in a fairy tale."

Edith was still tense facing her stepmother. Again, the mention of the search for Eliana's biological father made her extremely sick. Moreover, her stepmother had told her the impossible: Cliff was her ex-boyfriend. She found it hard to believe all the nonsense her stepfamily had told her over the years.
"What? Cliff is Eliana's biological father?"
"Yes, it's true. Do I need to prove it to you?"
"But how is that possible? He never told me about this."
"Even though I've told you the truth, you still don't believe me. Do you want Eliana to be fatherless forever?"
"Still this is so absurd."
The stepmother showed a photo of Edith and Cliff together in the past. Moreover, the photo she showed was a pre-wedding photo. "If I prove it with this photo, will you believe me?"
Edith still had a hard time believing that Cliff was her ex-boyfriend. She stared at the pre-wedding photos with tears in her eyes. "But Cliff still looks like he doesn't know anything."
"In fact, he did it on purpose to protect you. Don't you understand how he felt when he found out you had an accident that caused amnesia?"
"I always ask Cliff about the accident incident, but he always changes the subject as if there is something he is hiding from him."
The stepsister could only sigh and sip her wine. "If you don't believe me, why don't you talk to him directly after this? He's the only one who can give you all the answers."
"Communicating directly is the best way to resolve all these misunderstandings," added the stepmother.
Edith didn't want to believe all this nonsense so easily. She still suspected Erdin was her biological son, who reportedly died in an accident. Did her stepfamily know anything about her biological son's condition?
"Mrs. Yvette, are you actually still hiding something from me?"
"Why would I hide anything from you anymore? There's no benefit to us anyway."
"My son… is he really dead?"
"We've been searching everywhere, but there are witnesses who say your son is indeed dead. Your daughter survived because you managed to save her at the time."
"But, I once saw a boy whose face resembled mine and my daughter's. I suspect that boy is my son who has been missing all this time."
"Don't be so delusional, Edith! I know you miss your son so much."
"But, if it is true that Cliff is my ex-fiancé, will you approve of our marriage?"
"Of course. In fact, we'd be much more supportive of your relationship than you being a single mother for five years."
Edith continued to display a gloomy expression, unsure of what to do now. Should she marry Cliff? For some reason, she felt uncomfortable marrying a man who had helped her so much for five years. Still, she wanted Cliff to confess everything rather than continue to wonder.
Now Edith and Cliff sat facing each other in the cafe. Edith was very nervous about interviewing her own friend.
"Cliff, you better confess to me. Are you my ex-fiancé from five years ago?"
Cliff smiled broadly. "Yes, I can finally confess to you."
