"I do not like this contract, Roxie. Everything is good, so why do the last two have to be very disappointing? I told you I'm only showing my back," she spoke in disapproval as she showed Roxie the contract.
Roxie read the lines carefully before speaking.
"We could cancel the last one then, since we're allowed to cancel one. I'll handle that," she said as she sipped on her shake.
Avelina nodded. That wasn't a problem now.

But the second-to-last one was disturbing as well. Still, it wouldn't really matter — she was only going to stay there for a month and then leave. At least four weeks would be enough. Now that she had some extra money with her, and she hadn't used it yet, she'd be able to buy an apartment close to her best friend's and then find a better job. She also planned to work to assist her brother and little sister with school.
After that, she could apply for an internship.
