"Alor!!!" Avelina called loudly as she turned toward the door. Her heart was racing as she silently prayed it was Alor who took the money—because if it was her parents, she was going to be in a greater problem.
Oh no.
If she had known, she would have just kept the money safe—she would have taken it with her. It would have been better if it were with Roxie.
She tried her best not to panic as the door slowly opened. Alor stood there with pouted lips, his head lowered, and that alone told Avelina what she wanted to know—it was Alor who had taken the money. Even though she knew that, she was still mad.
A part of her was very glad he had been the one who took it and not her parents, yet she didn't show it. She frowned as she glared at her little brother, who was now drawing an invisible object with one of his legs. Avelina sighed as she stared at him before she spoke calmly she could not even bring herself to be mad at him.
