Ishiro Serizawa rubbed his eyes tiredly and closed the file on the recent MUTO incident. His mind was still reeling with the loss of life and livelihood for the people of Janjira.
Starting from the discovery of the skeleton in the Philippines, which cost the lives of forty miners directly after the cavern opened up, and many others who succumbed to radiation poisoning. All the way to the fall of the Janjira Nuclear power plant.
It was a disaster all around.
The only silver lining in this whole situation was that the MUTO responsible for all this was literally reduced to dust by the Sky King.
Ishiro originally did not feel that good about the death of such a magnificent animal, but the more he saw the trail of destruction, the more he understood the necessity of its death.
With a sigh, he closed the file and put it away, just in time for his assistant's hand to fall on his shoulder. Her soft whisper full of concern.
"Serizawa-sensei? You alright?"
"Yes. Vivienne. I am fine. Just tired is all."
The young woman with brown hair and green eyes smiled, even the stress of continuous 12-hour shifts not taking away from her beauty or compassionate nature.
"Maybe you should take a break?"
Ishiro chuckled at those words before opening another file.
"I should be the one saying that. You've been running yourself ragged while helping coordinate the rescue efforts across the city."
"Well, someone has to show the Outer Tribe's people the way, given that they are not familiar with this city. I, on the other hand, lived here for a year during my research for the thesis. So I am far more familiar with the lay of the land."
"Hm. Still, you should get some rest."
"And what about you?"
Ishiro stared at the file on the CRT screen with longing and fascination.
"I need to update our file about the trio. Especially after what we learned recently."
"...Do you think it is wise to record this data on official Monarch files? Didn't the tribe tell you that information only because they trust you?"
Ishiro smiled at his assistant's words.
"If it was in the past, right after Monarch was founded in 1947? I would have said no. But now? It doesn't matter anymore."
"Why do you say that?"
"Because, officially, Monarch is funded by the United States armed forces. But unofficially, Hoenn owns us."
The shocked look on the woman's face did not go unnoticed by the man, who decided to elaborate on his words.
"Hoenn might have been an ally of America during the war, mainly because of the attrocities commited against the few citizens of theirs that lived in Germany back then, but that does not mean that they trust the government, or any other country at that, with something so important as the quest for the Titans."
"That is why, shortly after Monarch was founded, their people infiltrated the organization at every level. Of course, their infiltration method is not perfect, evident by the schism of Monarch in the 80s, where their two most dangerous and bitter rival organizations were born, but their infiltration has worked well enough to give them full control over Monarch at this moment."
Seeing the woman's speechless expressions, Ishiro chuckled.
"Don't worry, you will get used to this madness soon enough. You are only feeling so shocked because it has only been a handful of years since you joined us, and you don't know all the ins and outs of our organization."
"...Alright. I'll leave you to it then."
With that, Vivienne Graham left the room, letting Serizawa get back to his work on the file.

The subject's 'skin' is made of interlocking scales and plates with glowing patterns. While Monarch has no information or sample to work with, the leading theory is that these scales and plates are made of some kind of Bio-Metal or Ceramics, allowing the subject to withstand extreme temperatures and pressures.
Additionally, it is known that the subject is able to manipulate the weather around him through the vibration of his scales. Additional studies are required to theorize the potential capabilities of these vibrations.
Interior:
N/A (No scans or tissue samples are available of the subject's internals as of this date)
Diet:
The primary diet of the subject seems to be dependent mainly on cosmic radiation, with meteors and asteroids providing a secondary source of sustenance.
Possible energy generation methods have been theorized, ranging from bio-induction systems to Nuclear Fusion core. The latter theory is supported by the circumstantial evidence of the subject's abilities and unfathomable power requirements for its 900-feet-long body.
Offensive capabilities:
Unknown beam of light, theorized to be possible Particle accelerator or some form of Macron accelerator. There are very few confirmed sites across the world where this weapon has been used, and most of these sites are out of Monarch's reach, with the recent Janjira Incident (see MUTO Incident #1 for details) being the only accessible site of this offensive adaptation's usage.
Further study of the site is required before any conclusions can be reached.
Mythological Trail:
This subject, unlike the other Superfauna, has shown a frequent pattern of appearance throughout human history in many ways.
The most common appearance is the green trails and lights in the sky of the Earth that have been observed since the dawn of civilization. The anomalous phenomenon that is now commonly referred to as the Emerald Star in modern science is considered to be either a distant comet caught in the gravity well of the planet in an erratic orbit, or another such natural phenomenon. (See Mythological Iconography: Subject 01 for further details.)
The subject's existence has only remained hidden until now through sheer coincidence, human wars that always push humanity off the path of progress, burning and suppression of knowledge, cults, religious factors, Monarch's active suppression of the information, the various governments of the world carrying out suppression campaigns of their own, and many other situations acting as one.
Yet, it is guaranteed that this masquerade will not last long. It is estimated that, at most, in a handful of years, it will become impossible to hide his existence from the general public, given the rapid advancements of technology, specifically in the fields of astrophysics, and the rapid commonality with which advanced telescopes and civilian observatories are coming into existence by the day.
Protocol 'Emergence' has already been proposed to deal with such a situation and is under consideration.

Containment is not possible due to the subject's status as a being that orbits the planet constantly in the Exosphere.

With the small changes and updates done, Serizawa closed the file and got up, heading out to help with efforts going on out there.
His small alterations to the file showing that his words to his assistant a few minutes ago were only partially true. Because he had not put down any of the groundbreaking secrets about the being in the file. Details that were given to him by the Outer Tribe because he was an honorary member of said tribe, thanks to his father, who was also an honorary member.
'While there really is no point in hiding things from Monarch anymore. One must always remain cautious with sensitive information.'
With that thought, the man headed off, not knowing that his decision would one day save the lives of many people.
