Turn 4
Ryoken LP 4000
Zane LP 100
The gap between the two duelists life points was so much that everyone would believe Ryoken had already bagged the duel.
But Ryoken himself, was cursing inwardly as Zane only had 100 life points, the miracle comeback amounts of life points.
'Then again that happened only in anime... I mean he doesn't have any card on his field nor in his hand, surely there's nothing good he can draw, right?'
On Ryoken's field 2 Super soldiers stood next together, a single Chaos sorcerer and Light Beast Token and one Dark Beast Token, both in defence position.
Basically his field was stacked and Zane couldn't go through his defence.
Draw Phase
Zane put his hand on his deck, feeling a mysterious energy going through his body, as if his deck was responding to him.
Meanwhile Ryoken frowned as he saw the outline of a three headed dragon materialising behind Zane.
'Cyber End Dragon's spirit? This guy is getting buffed in the middle of the duel!?'
"I DRAW!" Zane yelled Loudly, drawing the card and letting a faint smile appear on his lips.
"I activate the spell card, Pot Of Avarice! I can return 5 monsters from my graveyard to my deck and then draw 2 cards!"
"I chose, Cyber Dragon Herz, Cyber Dragon Nachster, Cyber Dragon Vier and lastly my 2 Cyber Dragons."
"First I activate the spell card Cyber Emergency, which allows me to add Cyber Dragon to my hand!"
"Next up, I Cyber Dragons effect in my hand, if my opponent controls a monster and I don't, I can special summon it!"
Cyber Dragon 2100ATK/1600DEF
"Then I summon Cyber Valley in attack points."
Cyber Valley 0ATK/0DEF
"I use Cyber Valley's second effect, I can banish it and another face-up monster I control and draw 2 cards, I banish Valley and Cyber Dragon."
Both monsters on Zane's field disappeared as he drew two more cards.
"Using Cyber Dragon's effect, I special summon it from my hand!"
As the Dragon appeared again, Ryoken couldn't help but let a sigh. It really did seem that if your bond was great with your deck, you could get the cards you want, even if you just returned them to your deck.
Either that or his opponent simply wasn't shuffling his deck.
Ref do something this guy isn't shuffling!
"Ryoken I must thank you for this duel. This duel made me go over my limit and reach the next level!"
'No no why are you making main character speeches, please stop and don't pull any bs.'
"I activate the spell card Cyberload Fusion! With it I can fusion summon a monster that lists Cyber Dragon as one of its materials. For this fusion summon I return Cards from my field and face-up banished card!"
'You banish my cards? here have this as Karma.' Zane thought to himself.
As for Ryoken, he was having a headache. Zane shouldn't have this card. Sure he had some cards that didn't make sense, but this one was absurd.
Especially when he was using a deck that utilised card banishment at its core.
"I return The Cyber Dragon on my field, and the other two Cyber Dragons that are banished to fusion summon!"
The Three Cyber dragons turned into Pink lightning as they joined together to form a new monster.
"Three Mighty Dragons Join together and become one to bring forth the End! Fusion Summon! Appear, Level 10! Cyber End Dragon."
Cyber End Dragon 4000ATK/2800DEF
"4000 Attack points!???" The audience yelled from shock, surprised to see a monster with that amount of attack points.
The three headed mechanical Dragon descended and opened its wings, a strong gust of wind hitting everyone nearby and making them take a step back and admire it.
"Battle phase. During the Battle phase my Cyber End Dragon can declare 3 attacks. I attack your Envoy of the beginning, Sacred soldier and chaos sorcerer!"
The three heads of the dragon opened their mouth and blasted a powerful beam of destruction in unison, crushing anything that was in their way, including Ryoken and his monsters.
Ryoken LP 4000 - 1000 -> 3000
Ryoken LP 3000 - 1000 -> 2000
Ryoken LP 2000 - 1700 -> 300
He stumbled and took a few steps back, but a pair of hands helped him to not fall. Ryoken released the breath he was holding whilst muttering a thanks to Medea.
Sure enough, since Cyber End Dragon contained a spirit, the attack felt more powerful than how it should be.
Zane could have won the duel if he wanted. He could have attacked the two tokens which were in defence position, and thanks to Cyber End Dragon's effect he would receive piercing damage.
But he didn't and destroyed his powerful monsters because he was a duelist that respected his opponents and fought with their strongest cards.
'Or that's how it would normally go, but I electromagnetic turtle in my graveyard.'
With Electromagnetic turtle he could end the battle phase on spot and even save his monsters but he didn't.
Why? Because his life points were now under 1000, meaning he could use the Barian's Chaos Draw.
"Impressive that you withstood all three attacks, you have my respect as a duelist. I end my turn."
Ryoken smiled briefly hearing those words from Zane. Sure he wasn't the older and badass Zane yet, but still hearing that praise made him feel content with his dueling.
Turn 5
Draw Phase
'Alright, time to use my skill.' He thought as he put his hand on his deck.
Just as he was about to use his skill, he felt Medea's hand on top of his.
"Ryo, allow me to assist you."
A new energy coursed through Ryoken's body, similar to how he felt when he first bonded with Medea.
The top card of his deck shone faintly.
'Can it be... I can use card printing now?'
He thought as he drew the card, but his face darkened as he saw it. The card he drew Was Emergency provisions.
Technically he could use it and pair it with a certain card that was in his hand, but still he couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed.
"I'm sorry Ryo, my power was only enough to get you that card." Medea Muttered in embarrassment.
Ryoken chuckled a bit seeing her reaction.
He could still win the duel and the card he drew with her help is actually a key part of it. Sure he couldn't card print but at least he would still win this duel.
"I activate the spell card Emergency provisions, I can send any number of spell or trap cards I control to the graveyard and gain 1000 life points for each card. I send the card itself and gain 1000 life points."
Ryoken LP 300 + 1000 -> 1300
"Now it's time for me to show you another ace of mine! I banish Sared soldier and Envoy of the beginning to special summon my monster from my hand!"
"The Emperor dragon who brings forth the end, appear and unleash your fury! Level 8! Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy Of The End!"
"I activate the Envoy of the end's effect. By paying 1000 life points, Every card in our hand and field are sent to the graveyard and you take 300 points of damage for each card!"
"They only have one card in their field each, with nothing in their hands. So if both monsters are sent to the graveyard..." A student said.
"Then Zane will take 600 points of damage and lose." Shepherd completed his sentence.
"Go Envoy of the end! Chaos Explosion!"
As the dragon shone brightly and exploded, the entire field was covered by smoke.
When it disappeared, Zane had lowered his duel disk, accepting the fact that he was defeated.
Zane LP 100 - 600 -> 0

And that's it for this chapter. This chapter marks the end of Zane and Ryoken's duel.
How was the duel? I personally think it was a good and fast paced duel, given both deck were meta and could have won in their own respective turns any time if there wasn't a script behind it.
By the way, I edited the previous chapter from envoy of beginning banishing Cyber Barrier dragon to destroying it through battle.
Lastly, about Envoy of ends effect, it's the pre errata version. Didn't plan on using this guy, was thinking of Medea burning all her spirit power to create a card for ryoken like Chaos fusion or something like that, and then she ends up being human because she lost all her power and connection to the spirit world.
But decided against that idea since her being spirit is more useful than a human.
