Lucas thought that this gate was too much for him and the awakend of Zurich.
'Should I tell Captain Bacher what I found?'
'No. It's better to enter the gate and fight them there to gain experience. It would be true chaos if that gate breaks.'
What Lucas didn't know was that this gate didn't respawn monsters every 24 hours, like the goblin forest gate.
This was the first time Lucas was this nervous to enter a gate. Even more than his first time.
Lucas unsummoned Ghost and prepared to head out.
'I'm really curious about the D-rank monster's stats and especially the boss monster.'
All awakend had to be at the camp near the gate at 9:00 at the latest.

Lucas arrived at 8:15.
When he got out of his car he saw a giant crowd of people.
They appeared to be the families of the awakend that chose to come today.
Everyone was a lot more scared today than with the other gates.
Yesterday people started feeling true fear, when they realized what damage the monsters could really do.
Countless people died all around the world.
In Zurich alone hundreds died.
If it wasn't for Lucas, a lot more would have died. But no one knew that and he preferred it that way.
'Damn. I hate crowded places.'
Lucas walked into the camp and saw long lines with awakend.
They were all registering at the front.
Lucas was about to annoyingly stand in line when someone called out his name.
"Lucas!"
"Captain Bacher?"
"I'm glad I caught you. You don't need to stand in line. Come with me."
Lucas was relieved he didn't have to stand in line behind dozens of people.
He followed Captain Bacher into a giant tent.
"Commander Schmid, let me introduce Lucas Strom."
"So this is the young man you told me about. I have only heard impressive things. I am Commander Schmid, nice to meet you Lucas."
"Yes, hello sir."
"Can we see your level?"
"Sure."

Both Captain Bacher and Commander Schmid were astonished.
"Level 11 already?!"
"There are only two level 10s here so far. And those are myself and another awakend like you."
Lucas was surprised to hear that, so he looked at Commander Schmid's stats.

'Wow, impressive. He's only the second guy I've seen with a unique ability.'
Commander Schmid interrupted his thoughts.
"Can I see the summons that I have heard so much about?"
"Sure."
Krasbert and Grishna appeared next to him.
Lucas shared their stats, though not everything.
The Commander in his 50s and the Captain in his 40s were both utterly shocked when they saw their stats.
"How is this possible?"
"Your abilities are truly amazing young man."
"Thank you."
Lucas unsummoned his avatars.
Everyone in the tent was shocked by what they saw and they started whispering to eachother.

It was 9:00.
Everyone had assembled in the giant tent.
Lucas used Odin's Eye on everyone.
It took some time since there were over a hundred awakened in the tent.
There were two people that surprised him.
The first was Ruben. He hadn't seen him in a while.

The next surprise was someone Lucas didn't know.

'This guy is strong.'
'But something about him gives me a bad vibe.'
'I should stay away from him just to be safe. Even if he tries something, he can't touch me with my avatars around.'
The 6'4 tall Arman looked at Lucas with a strange expression.
Since everyone gathered in the tent, they started talking about strategies and what to expect in the gate.
At the end they decided to all enter together with 136 awakend. About half of them were from the military.
There were probably a lot more awakend among civilians that decided not to participate.

30 minutes after the meeting.
They were all entering the gate.
A lot of people in the group were sweating.
Soon they all appeared in the forest in front of a big cave.
"Alright everyone. Stick with your team members and move slowly into the cave. Make sure not to make any noise."
A few teams headed in first before the rest would follow.
They needed to scout out the cave.
Lucas was also one of the first to enter, but he moved alone with his summons.
Lucas and the 3 teams of 5 near him saw a couple of kobolds in front of them.

Grishna shot them both dead with one arrow each.
The other scout teams saw this and started thinking that the kobolds weren't so dangerous after all.
But they were gravely mistaken.
For a few minutes they kept encountering small groups of E-rank kobolds.
They were all level 5-6.
Grishna was always the one to kill them.
After a while they arrived in a larger space within the cave.
Further ahead were 5 different paths with each of them having 2 kobolds guarding them.
Krasbert and Grishna quickly took action.
After killing them all without letting any escape, Lucas turned towards the others.
"At least one of you needs to head back to report this to the commander."
"I'm going further in with my summons. See you later."
The others were all shocked by Lucas his confidence.
1 team headed back while the other two stayed put.
