Some where in Nytherra, the wickes had grown restless as a star shined bright in the sky, the first star to ever shine so bright happened when zephyrus was born.
And now they were on the hunt for new born witches, but they didn't know that that star wasn't from a baby.
But from zephyrus own daughter. The leaders of each witch clan gathered for a meeting later that night.
The hall was filled with noise, everyone in panic. The old witches didn't want to be overpowered that is what they schemed and got him chained.
"Silence" a man yelled at the top of his voice "now is not the time to panic" he said like an upright man.
Back then, more than anyone he — Roman was more scared of zephyrus his very own son.
Everyone was scared of zephyrus powers he knew all their dark secret and no one could break his spells not even his father.
And that made Roman feel insecure. But he didn't want to kill zephyrus because he knew his powers could be put to good use if he could control him.
But zephyrus was one stubborn witch and wouldn't listen to his father by marrying the bride he chose.
Zephyrus didn't mention having a lover, he just refused.
So his father had some one make a chain that zephyrus couldn't break and trapped zephyrus with the help of Nytherra king.
Now after 80 years zephyrus was caged and another star just appeared last night.
"This star, no one has been able to identify. And you want us to stay Calm" a woman said.
Indeed only zephyrus had the ability to identify everyone star with just one glance, while other witches needed to chant some spells.
"I'm sure zephyrus has also seen the star" another witch said
"Ofcourse, he covered the star in order to agitate us"
"He wants us to come ask for his help"
Roman stood quiet, if Zephyrus used his star to cover it. That wasn't him trying to agitate them, could he have been protecting the star, but why?
But Roman knew zephyrus didn't have any contact with the opposite gender, especially since he was in that place.
How could he possibly have a child now.
"Has anyone visited the cold palace recently?" Roman asked
"Yes, the crown prince"
The crown prince is a boy, he couldn't have gotten pregnant.
Looks like he had to visit the cold palace himself.
"I'll go and seek answers from Zephyrus myself"
And with that he left to see Zephyrus, and Zephyrus was expecting him.
"You are here" Zephyrus said opening his eyes.
"Is that how you greet your father?"
Zephyrus let out a dry laugh. "Father, I love that joke "
Roman noticed that Zephyrus all red eyes were back to normal. "I thought you'd stay angry forever"
"Something exciting happened, the thing that brought you here" Zephyrus looked at his father.
"Who is the child?" Roman decided not to beat around the bush any further.
"Well.... I won't tell you"
Roman squeezed his hands and yhe chains on Zephyrus tightened.
Raising Zephyrus into the air, he screamed in unbearable pain.
Roman let go and he fell on his knees. "You keep forgetting that I have you in my palm"
Zephyrus laughed, a laugh that was filled with pain.
"Are you even my father?" He asked.
But the question was unnecessary, that man was his father. Their unique pink hair said it all.
"Tell me who the child is" he commanded.
"Or what? Would you go about killing all infant witches?" Zephyrus laughed.
But he had actually given Roman a great idea.
Roman squeezed Zephyrus once more before leaving the place.
Zephyrus sat back properly — legs crossed, hands placed back on top. And closes his eyes watching his father leave and enter the witches covenant.
They all came to the conclusion of killing all infant witches.
Zephyrus opened his eyes in shock, he knew they would go far but not to that extent.

Luna, on the other hand had spent her days trying to control her hearing sense, but each time she asked Zephyrus to let her out of his shadow, she still couldn't do it
One day while she was staring outside her window, a woman walked in.
"Aren't you supposed to be the one serving Kaylan in his bath?" The elderly woman spoke.
"That's how she is, she doesn't do a single work and eats all day" the servant beside her said.
Who are this people, another pregnant princess or what.
"Good day, ma'am" I greeted, bowing slightly
"Good day to you too. Why aren't you serving your master?" She asked
Kaylan wasn't my master, so how could I possibly serve him?
"Uhh.."
"You lazy servant" the servant beside her said as she walked closer to me intending to hit me.
I shut my eyes waiting for the slap but .... Kaylan was standing in front of me holding the maid's hand.
"Kaylan" I muttered.
"You dare to raise your hand against my people now" he said, obviously upset "I wonder who you'd raise your hand against next, me?"
In all this, what I heard was him saying 'i am one of his'
"No... No, your highness... I... I just wanted to.... To .. correct her" the servant knelt down.
I've never seen Kaylan in command and now that I did I definitely wanted him to be in control of my life.
He turned to me and his gaze softened. "Luna, you'll be moving to my wing. Hope you wouldn't mind?"
How could I possibly mind, I'll see hin every morning, night, mid-day.
"I won't" I smiled
The woman cleared her throat. "Sir Kaylan, a word"
Kaylan turned to me and asked me to pack up, he'll be back soon.
All the clothes here were not even mine to begin with, it was Kaylan who got them for me.
"I want to hear their conversation" i tried reaching Zephyrus but mo response.
Now i could communicate with him without needing to talk out loud.
"Hey, can you hear me" I asked
"Yes, just wondering where i know that woman"

"Kaylan, I hope you know that, that girl's origin is unknown" the woman said
"So?"
"So Kaylan, she could be the King's enemy"
"The king doesn't have children as enemies"
So that's what he sees me as? A child.
I shut their conversation out and continued packing.
