Morning light spilled onto the floor in Luna's room. Lunara woke up due to the noise she was hearing.
The wind howled louder than usual, the birds chirping was endless. She turned endlessly trying to block the sound out.
"Ahhh" she screamed in frustration, throwing her pillow on the floor. She got off the bed to shut her windows when she noticed that it wasn't windy outside not where they birds.
"What the hell?" She wondered.
"Then let her serve me" I heard Kaylan voice but when I turned... He wasn't there.
"Lunara" I heard that voice again — the man from my dream.
Last night I had a strange dream, a young looking man was trapped in a room with chains in his hands and legs.
But even though he was trapped, he smiled at me and called my name softly. He had red beautiful eyes, his eyes were gentle.
"Who are you" I asked moving closer to him.
Although he was a stranger but I felt safe with him, maybe it was because he was chained, he couldn't possibly harm me.
"Lunara, I am going to be your teacher" he said "teaching you all the basics you need to know"
Firstly, I don't need a teacher. Second, even if I did, It wouldn't be a man in chains.
"Thanks a lot but I'll have to decline" I said turning to leave.
But they was no door, how did I even get in here?
"Where am I?" I asked
I was panicking, although I felt safe but this is still abduction.
Zephyrus on the other hand didn't know how to break the News to Luna, he didn't know how she would take it.
He didn't know where to begin, whether by saying that he was her father or that she was a witch.
"Child, please sit" was all he could bring himself to say.
Child? Was he addressing me as a child?
"Excuse me, I just turned 18, and you are not Old enough to call me that" I said glaring and him before turning back to the wall trying to find the door.
"I am 100, does that count?" Zephyrus eyes had turned normal when he met lunara. His eye color had always been red but they was white like everyone else.
"If you're 100, then I'm 180" she retorted. Zephyrus didn't get the chance to say another word because morning had arrived.
And lunara was now awake.
Hearing his voice again, was I hallucinating?
"Lunara" he whispered again.
I was feeling scared now. "Show yourself" I turned
"I will, but now is not the right time" he said.
Although I couldn't see him but a definitely sensed something, I turned back but no one was there.
"You can sense my spiritual eyes location" that man sounded fascinated.
"Who are you and what do you want from me?" I asked.
"I'm Kaylan, and I want you to make your wish" I saw Kaylan standing by the door.
"Kaylan, thank goodness you are here" I said rushing over to his side.
I was repeatedly telling him about my experience last night but he acted like he wasn't hearing me
He placed the cake on the table and asked me to have a bite. Actually he fed me the bite
"He won't hear you complaining" that man's voice again.
"Who are you, until you can answer that, don't talk to me" I yelled.
Kaylan looked a bit startled, "happy birthday, Luna" he smiled.
"Thanks" and then silence, not the usual heavy kind this one was awkward.... Really awkward.
Luckily Carlos came in and called Kaylan.
Although it was that Miss Hazel again.
Kaylan left me all by myself to meet with that Hazel woman.
"I didn't think you'd be interested in Knight's" that very annoying Man again.
I glared at the side I felt his eyes.
"Sorry" he said
"Now we are alone, who are you?"
"I'm zephyrus, the most powerful of witches" he replied.
Zephyrus!! I've heard that name before.
"Nice meeting you, what do you want?"
"I don't want anything, I'm here to train you on how to manage your powers"
"I don't have powers, I am but an ordinary human" I said In my most polite tone.
"Listen.." he said.
"To what" I asked
Silence....
And once again, the whole room exploded with noise, the wind, the birds, I could hear sword practice, and Kaylan.
He was saying something about not visiting here anymore.
Then a lady "I'm your sister, why can't I visit"
The noise was too much. I blocked my ear but it wouldn't stop.
"What you heard is called 'vael'thera' hearing one's surrounding" the man's voice came again.
"I've put you under my shadows, blocking the noise out. But you have to learn how to do that by yourself" he said.
As much as I hate to admit it, I needed his help. But more than that I needed to know what was happening to me.
"What's happening to me?" I asked feeling really scared. Was it a stage in womanhood?
"Don't be scared, child. I'll guide you step by step, till the end" he warmly consoled me.
I nodded my head like I understood. I needed my Mother, she always knew what to say to help me calm down
"Please give me some space" pressing my legs to my chest.
I felt like crying but the tears wouldn't come, I felt really suffocated.... Then.
Kaylan walked in, the air that was once suffocating me was now filled with his scent.
"Kaylan" I ran into his arms.
"Please let me stay like this for a while"
He didn't resist me, he even Pat my hair slowly resting his chin on them.
I don't know how long I remained like that.
While Kaylan was struggling to compose himself, lunara was wondering if he let's every woman hug him.
Or did he not see me woman enough.
"Kaylan, thank you for coming" she said
