"then you are my.... Father?" I asked
"Yes... My child" he said in his usual Calm tone.
I didn't know how to react... Should I be happy, or sad, what should I say.
"Come to me, Luna" he tapped on the floor beside him.
I felt a warm liquid fall down my cheeks, I was crying.
"Father..." I cried out crawling into his arms.
He let out a soft laugh.. "silly girl" he patted my head
After crying my eyes out while hugging him. I rested on his lap and he rubbed my hair gently... I finally saw his pink hair.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner, I would have been nicer to you" i said about to release another batch of tears.
"It's alright my dear child, it's my fault..." He patted
"Then have you and Mom always been in touch, why didn't she tell me about you?"
"I've been watching over you both but couldn't communicate with her... Because she lost her powers" he explained.
"Everytime mom talked about you, she'd always say it was her fault" I could understand my mother's pain.
"She still thinks Aurelia betrayed her" my father said
"Aunty Aurelia was deceived"
Perhaps I could resolve this issue and then be with Kaylan.
"Father" I rose my head from his lap.
"I know what you are thinking... And it isn't going to be easy without someone dying" he said
"What! Why?"
"Because Kaylan has an oath with the king, so the king will decide his marriage" he said
I wasn't thinking about marriage... I was thinking about resolving our parents difference.
But the thought of marriage wasn't exactly an exception either.
The truth is Zephyrus wasn't sure if Luna will be able to break his spells so he didn't want to get her hopes up.
But if the king died, Kaylan would be a Free man. So he wasn't exactly wrong, someone did have to die.

I woke up the next morning, stared up at my wooden ceiling..
Kaylan, are we really not going to be together?
Aunty Aurelia came inside, "Kaylan will be leaving soon and you are still here?" She asked
Leaving
"Where is he going?" I asked jumping off the bed
"They are going for war, he won't be back for like two months or so" she said
I didn't let her finish before running out of my room and went to the training ground but they was no horses, was he already gone?
My knees felt weak and I fell to the ground... I started crying... I didn't mean to sleep for so long... Do I not deserve the right to say goodbye to him before he left.
"Luna?" I heard Kaylan voice from behind
"Kaylan" i turned back as I raised up.
I rushed into his arms. "I'm sorry, did I make you sad?" He asked in a concerned manner.
"Why did you leave without informing me?" I asked without letting him go
"I didn't leave" he said rubbing my back "I was inside" he said
I detached myself from him "then where are all the horses" I asked pointing at where they normally kept them
"They've been taken to the lake for a bath" he explained
"Then what about the war, when were you going to inform me"
"Today, and ask you if you would be willing to come along?"
He coped my face in his palm, cleaning my tears.
"I would never leave without informing you" he said
"I'll come with you" I hugged him again.
"Does that mean that you have accepted my proposal?" He whispered into my ears.
I quickly shifted back. "I didn't say that"
I ran off...
I went into my room, and found that my clothes had already been packed..
"Aunty Aurelia, you knew I was going too" I said sitting down
"Well you didn't let me finish" she said.
"Where are we going?"
"To conquer Elthara" she said
"What!" I stood up
My reaction didn't escape Aunty Aurelia's observant eyes.
"I.. I..." I tried coming up with an explanation
"You need not explain yourself" she said.
My mother was a general, she would definitely be on the battlefield... I wondered if she would die again... In this battle.
She has died once, and lost her powers. If she dies again she would loose her life.
I couldn't let Kaylan conquer Elthara...
Later that day I heard my father's voice.
"You don't have to worry about your mother, she isn't in Elthara anymore" he said
"Father, where is she?"
"In Nytherra, looking for you"
"Where do I find her?" I asked in a concerned manner
"If you go to her now, you'd have to leave Kaylan" he said
"Then, I hope she is safe?" I asked half laughing
I wasn't going to leave Kaylan, not now, not anytime soon.
It was time to set out I and Kaylan rode on same horse, and set out before the rest .
I could ride alone but I wanted to be with Kaylan for a bit longer.
Night came and we camped on the mountain, across the mountain was Elthara...
I found my way to the edge of the cliff, looking over at Elthara... Kaylan found me.
"Enjoying the view?" He asked standing next to me
"It's about to crumble, I might as well enjoy it while it lasts"
I actually had a mission... To get a book from the palace library.
"After bringing the kingdom down, what happens to the humans living in it" I asked
"Well, The Humans..." Emphasis on human "will be sent to Nytherra to live"
"May i have the books if they are of no use?" I asked
"You can have anything you want" he replied
