After walking away from the shooting range i didnt have to much to do so i did a bunch of other small things like going to the park eating in a restaurant and just walking aimlessly.
I continued to walk with no direction in mind really after quiting my job it seems that i dont know what to do with my free time before i had so much work that i didnt miss the entertainment from my former world to much but now that i do have time on my hand i really cant do much sure the day wasnt to bad just walking and exploring a bit but if i were to do this daily it would surely suck.
Maybe i should try to find a few friends its one of the only things that i can imagine to be fun but who would come to mind as a friend well i could try to befriend myself with jonny but we just had an awkward dinner today so i should wait for now and im not sure if its the best idea to make friends in an illegal shooting range.
Well other than jonny nobody really comes to mind its not like im connected to many people.
But even if i befriend myself with jonny or even find more friends than just him it would still leave me with way to much time should i try to find a part time job?.
No definitely not i just quitted one dont want to find another even though i have to much time right now as a beyonder having a lot of free time can be quite important since who knows when you need to do something.
Well i guess i could try to use some of my free time to acting for my potion to digest.
Well then how do i want to act i could just continue breaking into houses but it takes a lot of time to do that and a lot of preparations and even if done correctly there are still risks.
Better than that i should first try some smaller crimes like beating a thug this also digested some of my potion last time because i let my desires out on him and even if reported it wouldnt be the worst i could lie my way through about the other person attacking me and if there were a eyewitness i could still find ways to talk me out of it probably.
The only problem is the risk of the thug himself many of them are in a gang or have friends and some even have guns or atleast knifes although im sure im a beyonder in a gunfight theres a small chance i might lose since even if im good with a gun myself as long as the other person is also good with it or is just lucky he could equally hit me.
Similarly if there are 3 or more thugs on me in a fist fight i would also most likely lose in a one vs one i would definitely win and a two vs one i would most likely win with some injuries.
So that means i should try to pick the weaker ones out and rather beat them up not the ones who are in a gang or have guns since i dont really want to take to many unnecessary risks.
While walking i also saw a dark shadow with no real body and just red eyes after i saw it vanished instantly.
Was this a beyonder is someone following me? what pathway would that be shadows maybe something like the aurora order or maybe the nighthawks might also have a abillity like that or something.
I continued to walk as normal as before and try not to overreact maybe i should go to edwards house he might be home now? it would definitely better if i could find edward the attacker might flee or even if he attacked edward would be there to and although i dont know edwards sequence hes either a sequence 7 serial killer or a devil which arent weak.
I continued to walk to edwards house now since i decided this would be the best option.
It took a while but i soon saw edwards house in my view when i went there and i knocked quite normally since i dont know if the attacker already knows that i noticed him earlier.
A minute later edward opens the door.
"what are you doing here viktor?"
"could i please come in edward?"
"fine come in"
Maybe he noticed that i acted strange or he has some trust in his student since he didnt seem to ask questions right away when i entered.
"edward i think someone followed me a beyonder with shadow powers i think"
"hm what did you see that you think that?"
"i saw a shadow with red eyes when i walked the street along after just noticing it vanished instantly"
"give me one second"
After that edward went downstairs to his basement i thought that he might come up with a rifle or something but when he came back he was still unarmed.
"theres no danger outside"
"what how can you say that for sure edward?"
"i will tell you one day how i found out but just know that theres no danger right now atleast"
"say viktor are you sure that it was a beyonder the powers you mentioned sounded high level similar to a demigod would such a beyonder make such a simple mistake?"
"well if you say that it does sound weird but maybe it isnt such a high level beyonder it might just be a sequence that gives weird abillites"
"viktor not to long ago you took the bandages that were corrupted by the abyss it wouldnt be weird for you to see things that arent there"

"i cant guarantee that it wasnt a beyonder but atleast i can say for sure that there not here right now and i still think that the most likely explanation is that its just a illusion"

After that i sat down on a chair and just tried to relax was this really just an illusion am i going crazy if this really is part of the corruption does that mean i might lose control there were many questions that i wanted answered to but didnt know who to ask.
The ghost that i saw or entity however you want to call it did really not match the memory i have of the 22 pathways but again it was a while ago since i read the book i cant know every abillity perfectly.
How can edward be so sure that theres no danger well i guess with my transmigrator memories its obvious it seems that edward is really a devil since they feel when someone plans on attacking them but is he really a devil and does the danger premoniton of a devil work that way from what i remember there were some loopholes that you can use like if you didnt plan on attacking the said devil it wont activate his danger sense and in this case the attacker followed me and not edward so for edward if he as a devil didnt feel any danger it wouldnt mean much since the enemy wanted me it shouldnt activate his danger sense.
Maybe edward isnt a devil but rather has an artifact that is similiar to that or maybe he used some kind of abyss ritual to check it?.
Well i cant be sure about that unless i want to ask him but he obviously doesnt want to tell me now since he said that he will tell me one day.
Atleast i calmed down a bit maybe i should also tell edward about the dream i had yesterday since im already here.

"yesterday i had a dream i forgot to tell you when i sleept in your house i dreamt of a ritual with many people killed and then of a different dimension i think which was completly red do you think this was the abyss or came from the corruption ?"
"well most likely it does sound like it although i cant confirm it for you since i never saw the abyss myself"
Wait he never saw the abyss himself does that mean he really isnt a devil well no not really since you dont need to go to the abyss to become a devil and although the book said that devils once lived in the abyss its also said that the abyss has changed and become even unlivable even for most devils so its quite normal for someone whos a sequence 6 devil not to have seen the abyss.

I then went on my way home and didnt meet any weird accidents and just went home to calm down.
