When i arrived home i sat down on my bed and just calmed down from the events today.
The thought that I cant trust my own mind anymore is quite scary and also dangerous since if i see anything weird again i might think its just an illusion but it might really be a beyonder then.
Can i somehow destroy that corruption fast maybe with holy water or something? but im a criminal im not sure how safe holy water is although i didnt become a devil yet it might still have negative effects.
Well the only positive thing is that the corruption isnt to strong and most likely will disappear someday.
I continued to just sit around for around 30 minutes or so but soon i was getting bored.
Maybe i should try to find some thugs to beat up although im unsure how smart it is with my illusions who knows i might see something in a fight and become confused that is dangerous.
But it isnt very likely i only had 1 dream and 1 illusion till now so i doubt that anything big happens again today.
But i should keep in mind to be careful on which thugs i fight.
I then went out to look for an ideal victim.
Going through the streets at night was quite beautiful of course only if you're able to ignore all the tramps in the streets and some trash here and there.
Right now i was just looking around and since it wasnt that late yet i would only go through streets for now.
I went to different streets where places only the original viktor went to.
Although many of those places were the same from viktors memories but i liked to look at them myself rather than just knowing them from viktors memories.
On the way i often petted cats and passed some time with them.
Soon less and less people were outside and it was time for me to look if i can find a victim today.
I walked down the street and was going into alleyways to look if i find someone to but it sadly isnt always that easy although i found a small group of thugs they were a group of 4 and i didnt really want to go in such a fight.
Fortunately they didnt saw me although my chance of winning isnt that low and if it got really risky i could use my gun since i went outside to hunt i of course have a knife and a gun with me but i dont plan on using them unless my life was in danger.
I continued to walk for a long while sometimes i did see thugs but decided that they arent ideal sometimes i did think that this feels like a huge waste of time but i tried to see the bigger picture finding ways to act without much risk might take time but its better than taking risk especially at my current sequence.
Im unsure how long ive been searching for an ideal target but i would guess its been around 2 to 3 hours although it doesnt sound to long because it isnt its still kinda frustrating and boring.
I walk into another alleyway and then i see 2 thugs not to far away from me both dont look to experienced and although i cant see to easy in the night im able to tell that they atleast dont have guns.
Although its 2 against 1 my chances of winning without any serious injuries isnt bad the only problem is my injury although walking isnt a big problem if i were to get punched in the stomach it would not only hurt alot but maybe open my wound again and make me bleed.
So thinking like this i should leave and just continue to look for other targets even if i dont find one
tommorow is another day where i can look around.
But if i think about it this way of thinking of mine might hold me back in the long run the abyss pathway has a lot to do with letting out you're desires of course an beyonder of the abyss pathway also needs to be cautious but if i keep my desires to myself whenever theres only a small risk of danger i might not be able to advance quickly or maybe not at all to a high level.
Since i already decided that i want to continue to advance i want it to be worth it at minimum becoming a demigod.
I walked to the 2 thugs slowly and soon they saw me both of stood up and also walked up to
me."hey say did you get lost or something?"
They looked like you're typical background villains and they even sounded like it with that condescending tone of weak thugs one of them wore a jacket with holes in them i guess i call him villain a and the other guy villain b had no jacket and a short shirt with short sleeves on although it isnt winter yet i do think that it must be cold wearing that
"if you dont want a fight give us some money and we'll leave you alone we might even be nice enough to help you find you're way back"
"but what if im here for a fight?"
"hm are you serious were 2 guys i dont really like to put you in the hospital little guy"
The previous viktor hated jokes about his height because most of the time he was quite a bit smaller than the rest of guys but still always when someone jokes about his height he never said anything just laughed with them and agreed.
But im not the previous viktor although this body wasnt mine from the beginning it still bothers me that some nobody thinks hes much better than me just because hes a bit taller.
Without saying another word i just punched villain a straight in the face and then a few seconds after hit him with my leg so he would fall down.
In that time i attacked villain b but he was a bit faster than me and tried to hit me in the face i was able to block with both of my elbows i then knocked him back a bit and kicked villain b another time before he could get fully back up.
I then ran straight at villain b and attacked him i was focusing alot on blocking every attack that went near my stomach since if it got hit often it might really be dangerous in that time villain a was able to get back up although i was able to punch villain b a few times they werent that strong.
Now im in a 2v1 situation and need to be careful villain b was infront of me while villain a behind me they then circled me i was right now just on the defensive no matter who i attacked i would get hit by the other person of course being on the defensive would also mean to lose soon since they would only need to attack me at the same time to atleast get one hit on me each time.
"lets attack at the same time he cant take us both on"
I waited til they both got ready to attack me and observed carefully who attacked first when villain a started to run to me first and after that villain b just a bit later i dodged the attack of villain a and then quickly went behind him i wanted to kick him in the back but villain a was already looking at me and grabbed my foot which was in the air i tried to free my foot but in that time villain b was able to come to me and punched me into the stomach.
Fortunately it was on the other side of the wound but it still hurt a lot but i was able to get my foot out of the hand from villain a atleast.
Sadly in that time villain b already attacked me once again although i was able to block it with my elbows villain a came from behind and tried to kick at my back i was able to grab his foot this time and let him fall down on the ground again.
I then quickly attacked villain b and this time rather than using my fists primarly i only readied my fists to look like i would punch him and then kicked him in the legs and when he was feeling pain i went and punched him in the face.
Villain b already got quite a bit injuries on him so i continue to attack while he tries to get away from me sadly villain a is already behind me again he tries to punch me and i dodge to the side then ram my elbow into his back.
Now where hes gasping from pain i just use my legs again to drop him onto the ground so i can attack villain b again.
Atleast that was my plan but villain b reacted quickly this time and backed up quite a bit already it seemed like he noticed that if they continue like this they would lose so i decided quickly to attack villain a who was still on the ground.
When he was getting back up i tried to kick his head but he was able to block with his elbows i then quickly attack again with my legs and just kick him into the stomach in that time villain b rushes to me deciding that its better to attack me i guess.
I then went into a quick fight with villain b where i continue to attack the same leg that i kicked before and within a few kicks he drops down in that time villain a was behind me which i easily overwhelmed in a one against one both of them begged a bit and tried to make dumb excuses but i decided to just get it over with and punched them so long till they were knocked out. this time when i punched both of them again and again i was clearly able to feel that i was enjoying this even though they were 2 and even though they tried their best i was still able to crush them and now had the power to do whatever i wanted to them if i desired it this feeling of control was truly great.
After they were both knocked out with blood all over their faces i went back home one could say i truly enjoyed acting today
