Im seeing a woman whos running for her life and a hooded person who is chasing after her with a knife the woman tries her best to flee and screams for help while running but the hooded person was faster than her by quite a lot and soon caught up to her then when he was behind her he put his arm on her mouth and holded her from behind he then slit her throat with his knife.
After that a lot of blood came flowing out he put her down and used that blood to make a small circle and he then made a praying stance.
After that i woke up it seems like i once again had a weird dream from the corruption of the abyss today even though i feelt quite good yesterday after acting i still ended up waking up quite bad.
I got ready and made my routine of washing my face making my breakfast and going outside to look if theres anything in my mailbox and today there was something inside a letter i took it inside and opened it there.
"viktor come in the night when the sun is going down meet me in my house i have an errand for you"
Well i guess its time for me to be useful to edward although i dont really like doing work especially since it might not be just a simple errand it still makes me feel a bit easier since edward gave me my potion for free and he also surprinsingly treated me very well especially considering that hes from the abyss pathway.
If he continued to always help me and never ask for anything in return it would have been concerning.
I soon ate my breakfast and then went outside i then went to the shooting range where i mostly just practiced out of boredom after some practice i ate some food in a restaurant and then went to the park to relax a bit since i wasnt sure what this errand will be who knows maybe he tells me to kill someone and calls it an errand so i wanted a normal day for now.
After staying a long time in the park i went home and cooked myself some fast food and then went outside again on the way to edward.
I soon arrived at edwards house where it was pretty quiet the only thing that made some sounds was a horse bound by a carriage alone outside. I hesitated a bit although its just an errand im unsure what he really expects from me i just tried to stop my thoughts and knocked 2 times and waited for him to open his door.
He soon opened his door and i went inside where i saw a few big cartons in the living room when i entered.
"so what do you need me for teacher?"
"nothing big i just need you to bring those cartons to someone"
"go to miek street and then in the alley nearest to a small baker called ninas sweets and bread"
"eh could i ask you whats inside those cartons?"
"well if you want to know you can open them"
I went near one of the cartons and looked inside one and i saw weapons and not smaller ones like the revolver i have they were rifles i went and looked into another carton and there were many bullet magazines inside and in another there were also smaller guns similiar to my revolver inside.
"edward are you sure this is safe that i should just go outside with guns and hope not to be seen?"
"not only that but how will i transport those guns although i can carry one carton maybe 2 carrying so many isnt something i can do"
Although i didnt count all cartons yet there were atleast more than 10 cartons.
"you dont need to worry about your safety the one you meet is someone you can trust or well atleast enough that he doesnt kill you"
That didnt sound very convincing could i somehow reject his request but can i really he gave me a sequence 9 potion for free and even helped me with almost everything like hinting at the acting method and helping with the robbery although i already knew about the acting method its still part of my debt similiar i also wouldnt have liked to become a criminal but sadly you dont always get to choose your pathway.
"for how you transport them i of course dont expect you to carry 22 cartons so far away by yourself i already have a carriage rented outside for you that can be used to transport all the cartons in one round"
"well then i guess i have no other excuses that i can use ill load the cartons on the carriage"
I soon began to take one carton after another on the carriage i did wonder if 22 cartons wont overload the horse since its only one but i can only hope that it doesnt.
While going back inside to get another carton i wanted to ask a question that i want to know.
"edward since this mission has no or atleast only a little risk why dont you do it yourself since it would be a lot quicker and had less chance of something going wrong"
"well see it as me being lazy and its also good that my little student learns more"
It feels more like you dont want to do it because it might have more risk than you mentioned if edward wasnt stronger than me by a lot and i wasnt still dependent on him i would really like to leave also the fact that he calls me little student somehow irritates me even though i dont think he said it because of my height.
I soon finished loading up all the cartons on the carriage and began getting ready.
"edward i will go now but say what will i do with the carriage after should i bring it back to you?"
"its only rented so since its already late at night just take it back home to you and bring it tommorow to me again of course if you like you can also bring it back today still whatever you like more"
I then began driving to miek street its a bit farther away so even with a carriage it will take a while.
While driving there i was really in thought about how im doing a job that if the police were to find out would bring me atleast 12 years prison or longer and im not even getting paid for it on top of that.
Well i guess i can see it as acting since its something illegal it should align with my criminal potion
although it surely wont be as good as beating up the thugs from yesterday since i not only do something criminal i do the most important thing while acting as a criminal and let my emotions and desires out.
Compared to that a mission like this who doesnt have anything to do with my desires or emotions isnt as effective being a beyonder of the abyss pathway is quite tough.
I wish i could have choosen a pathway myself rather than the previous viktor sealing my fate to become a abyss beyonder.
If i could have choosen any pathway i wonder which i would have picked maybe the spectator pathway since its easy to act with it and reach a high rank till angel atleast since the beyonder Characteristics of sequence 2 are quite hard to get.
Maybe if i didnt want to reach a to high rank maybe the moon pathway would have also been good since at sequence 7 you get a long livespan and arent easy to get killed after that you dont have to worry about lifespan and you could also form a small army of beyonder animals since their sequence 8 is beast tamer it would be a good combination.
And another pathway that would have had a high chance that i would have picked is either the death pathway or the black emperor pathway black emperor because you could reach a very high rank in it and even become a god and in the worst case you could still live a good life with just being a lawyer. And the death pathway just because its one of my fan favorites being able to tame spirits and also being one of the only pathways that you could get stronger in without having to advance since once you reach sequence 6 and or lower you can enslave a lot of spirits and with time you might be able to get more powerful spirits although it will still be limited since when youre a low level you wont be able to control stronger spirits its still one of my top picks for how cool it would be to have a spirit army which you can grow with time.
I continued to think about some other pathways but i must say that although i didnt want to be one the abyss pathway in power it isnt that weak itself since once you reach sequence 6 you would be one of the hardest to kill under the demigod rank because the danger premonition is just hard to counter and they also gain all sorts of different abilities from fireballs to a devil form and some small corruption abilities and from what i remember they also have a giant lava sword since i plan on advancing i should also one day become a devil and the powers do sound quite cool to be honest.
In the time ive been thinking about pathways i arrived at miek street i then went around looking for the bakery and soon found it then looking around a bit i found the nearest alley it was big enough for my carriage to fit in fortunately.
I was scared that it might not fit in since many alleyways in the east borough are build quite small when i drived in i saw an older men dressed in a black suit with a black hat sitting on another carriage when i came he went down from his carriage and went to me.
"so you're the student of edward i assume?"
"yes i am you're the person i should deliever the cartons to i assume"
I wonder why he knows about me being edwards student.
"yes could you please load the cartons to my carriage?"
"sure"
I then went ahead and loaded all the cartons on his carriage i did wonder who he is and what those guns will be used for but i knew asking questions would not be a good idea.
Once i was finished with loading all the cartons the old men just went on his carriage and left without saying another word.
I also then soon went and drived back home and parked my carriage near my apartment.
