I woke up a bit disturbed because i had a nightmare of the abyss atleast i think thats what it was i dreamt of human souls being sacrificed in a ritual i also saw a red chaotic world it looked as if it had no order and feelt like just a place full of misfortune is this how the abyss looks like or is this just a dream version of it or is that how im imagining the abyss to be like?.
I stood up and then feelt a pain near my stomach where i got shot i almost forgot about this injury because of that dream i should be careful to not move to quickly.
When i went outside of my room i saw edward sitting on his couch comfortably.
"morning viktor you sleept comfortable i assume?"
"yeah i did how long did i sleep?"
"for around 6 hours"
"did you also sleep edward?"
"not that much i sleept for around 2 hours and then woke up how does your wound feel?"
"it hurts but if i dont move fast its bearable"
"edward i wanted to ask you more about artifacts since one saved my life yesterday"
"ask what you want and I'll try to answer as good as i can"
"what kind of artifact is that and you said before that they have all drawbacks what drawback does yours have"
"the artifact that operated on you yesterday comes from a sequence 8 which sequence is called doctor when in the hand it can guide you're hand to help with operations and healing it also has a second mode that lets it do operations on the soul"
"its drawback is that it wants to constantly heal people so if you dont use it for 3 days it will begin attacking you or anyone else so it can heal the attacked person after they are injured"
"how do you keep it from attacking you?"
"i just put it in a box it cant break free and when i need it since theres already someone whos injured at that time it wont attack its quite a simple artifact"
It truly is a simple artifact i wonder if i will have such artifacts one day.
"edward i also wanted to talk about how much money i will get from the robbery?"
"hm waking up and already wanting you're share? well i will go and get you're hard worked money"
I wonder how much it will be at the end of it i hope that its enough where i dont need to work anymore for a while and if possible to have some savings.
But if i were honest i would like a lot more than that since i risked my life for this.
Soon edward came back with a bag he then opened it and it was full of cash although im not sure how much it is it looks like alot.
"how much is this edward?"

"isnt that a bit much?"
Maybe i should just take it rather than question his generosity but i was really curious about why so much.
"its because i keep all of the jewels and the body of louis perry"

"yeah like i explained before after a beyonders death his remains are quite valuable maybe i will make an artifact out of him or i will sell his remains to someone else"
"what pathway was louis perry and what sequence?"
Although im already 99 percent sure that he was a provoker of the hunters pathway i wanted to see if edward knew about it too since im still unsure how knowledgeable he really is.
"he was a sequence 8 of the hunters pathway most hunters come from intis so its not unnormal for him to be a hunter"

I then ate breakfast prepared from viktor it tasted significantly better than the one that i normally ate but its still quite weird how the relationship between me and edward developed at first i wanted to get away from him but now im eating his breakfast and sleep in his guest room although i still dont fully trust him at the end of the day since hes already above seq 8 he doesnt have empathy or guilt someone like that isnt someone i really can trust.
After the breakfast i left his house which i made sure to remember where it is since maybe i need to find viktor quickly one day after that i just went home and while i was at it i also bought my first newspaper in this world so i can read it either today or tommorow when im eating.
