The night before you left me, I should've been mindful of the words I said on that call, earlier that day, I should've been more patient until you were ready to cough up all the things on your chest, I should've listened when you said you need somebody to talk to two night before the breakup.
In all the times I said I would improve, I should've kept my word, in all the times I fought with you, I should've chosen you over my anger, there's lot of times when I could've just grabbed your hand, pull you into my arms and calm you down. I should've reminded you that I love you too much instead of cussing you out, I shoud've kissed you more..
The day that you came to fetch a book, I should've given you my love and be more warm, instead of giving you my bullshit, that day I should've hugged you and kissed you, I should've told you that I love you, resolve the little issue at hand, I should've known that love isn't about getting even.
