Anna was still gaping from the shock of what she had seen when the door swung open from outside.
She darted forward, to see Aidan strolling in with 2 of her boxes. There were 2 other boxes behind him with a duffel bag slung over his shoulder.
She halted.
Aidan glanced up at that moment, and smiled casually, like he hadn't just set her entire world spinning.
"Were you coming to get me?" Anna didn't reply and he approached, seeing how pale her face was. "Are you okay? Were you scared of being alone? This apartment is one of the safest apartments around, you don't need to be scared of…"
"What did you do at Sophie's party?" The question left her lips before she could stop it.
Aidan blinked rapidly, his expression shifting from concern to confusion. "What are you talking about?"
