Nazrat surveyed the battlefield with disdain. "So now...who's willing to fight me first?" His cold eyes landed on a crowd of terrified civilians running for their lives. "Maybe you little pigeons?"
He raised his hand and then slammed it down hard. The earth around him exploded with thunderous impact, creating a crater. Everyone caught in the blast was instantly annihilated.
"Ahhh...that was satisfying." Nazrat said with a cruel smile. "Who's next? Maybe another group of innocent people."
"We have to do something Seiko. Right now." Fumiko urged, panic creeping into her voice.
Seiko's face tightened with frustration. "I know, but we can't do anything to him. Not yet."
Nazrat's piercing gaze suddenly locked onto the three fighters. "Who are you over there?"
"Shit, he saw us" Kebe muttered under his breath.
"Split up" Seiko ordered sharply.
With a flick of her wrist, Seiko summoned her blue lightning sword. Kebe teleported them apart, scattering them across the battlefield. They launched their standard combo. Kebe teleporting Fumiko rapidly as she unleashed razor sharp icicles at Nazrat.
But Nazrat stood unfazed, blocking every attack with ease.
"Is this...a joke? Did you really think to defeat me with that? Nazrat mocked, amusement dripping from his words.
Seiko seized an opening and darted behind Nazrat with Kebe's help, aiming a deep slash across his back. Nazrat twisted sharply, deflecting the attack effortlessly. Kebe immediately teleported Seiko to safety.
"You brats are annoying, but no match for my power." Nazrat sneered. He raised his hand again, slamming it towards Kebe. The immense gravity pinned Kebe to the ground instantly.
Kebe's mind raced. He used a portal to dodge the crushing block and, despite the overwhelming force, avoided serious injury thanks to his Itsuko ability.
Suddenly, a ball of energy shot straight at Nazrat's face, making him pause in surprise. Another ball followed immediately, forcing NAzrat to defend himself.
"Who's the brat throwing these?" Nazrat demanded.
"Who else but me?" Ararata appeared, smirking
"You stupid brat." Nazrat growled.
"Is that the only way you know to make an entrance?" Kebe quipped, still pinned to the ground.
"Is there a problem?? I saved your life, you should be grateful." Ararata retorted.
Nazrat's eyes blazed with fury. "You will pay for not letting me kill this boy."
He raised his hand toward Ararata, but Kebe teleported him out of harm's way just in time.
"Now we're even, okay?" Kebe said
"Maybe."
"Enough playing around! Let's fight and stop running!" Nazrat roared.
Seiko lunged again and managed to cut into Nazrat's right arm. He screamed in pain. "How dare you mar my perfect body with your sword?"
He raised both hands and slammed them down, flattening everything in 15-meter radius.
"That's what you get for underestimating me."
"Seiko...what can we do?" Ararata asked desperately.
"We have to wait for backup."
The distant sound of cars and helicopters grew louder.
"They're coming" Seiko said, hope flickering in her eyes.
"WOOHOO, WE'RE HERE! DON'T WORRY, GUYS! WE GOT THIS! EVERYONE'S HERE TO KILL THIS SIN!" the reinforcements shouted as they arrived.
Bombs exploded across the battlefield, but government planes bombed their equipment, sowing chaos.
"If you want to survive, you don't need the Resistance. We're here for the people. Trust the process. We will save you." a voice boomed over speakers throughout Tokyo.
"These disgusting humans..." Seiko muttered.
Nazrat sneered. "You humans fight each other while a threat kills you all. How dumb and funny."
A figure cloaked in dark cape approached Nazrat. "Don't make us all look dumb just because some are." he said, slashing Nazrat's stomach before leaping away.
Nazrat screamed. "You human made this scar? NONE WILL ESCAPE ALIVE FOR THIS!"
He conjured two dark spheres that sucked the air around them and hurled them at Kurai. Kurai dodged effortlessly. He noticed the spheres vanished after 15 meters, only sucking in a one-meter radius. Nazrat coun't control them after throwing, and their range was limited.
It's winnable, Kurai thought. After stunning someone, he forgets them when focusing on another.
"Hey, ugly face!" Kurai taunted.
"My body? now my face? As if you think I'll leave your friends." Nazrat growled.
Nazrat launched two faster spheres at Kurai, who dodged with difficulty. Nazrat charged up more, firing them rapidly. Exhausting weighed on Kurai as he stayed on the move.
"You're tough. I respect that." Kurai gasped.
"I'd say the same if you weren't such a brat." Nazrat sneered.
"Too bad" Kurai smirked, stepping out of range. "What you gonna do now, dumbass?"
Nazrat's face flushed red. "You humiliate me...?"
Kurai giggled and lunged at Nazrat. Nazrat threw a sphere, which Kurai hit with hsi sword made untouchable, causing it to explode. Panicked, Nazrat fired more spheres, but Kurai's agility kept him closing in.
Nazrat drew his weapon, and their blades clashed with a deafening clash, shaking the city. Kurai grinned maniacally. "You thought eradicating us all would be easy? Pay for your stupidity"
Nazrat swung a powerful punch, disarming Kurai. He fell, but someone wearing strange mask caught him.
A girl, no older than twelve, approached clapping softly. "Here to help, Mr. Insane. No gravity energy in my field, Mr. Universe."
Everyone pinned by Nazrat's gravity was freed, a massive barrier enclosing the battlefield.
"Another brat...but smaller." Nazrat grumbled.
"I'm not small, thank you." the girl retorted.
Seiko struggled to her feet."Yu, you really saved us"
"I just didn't want my house destroyed." Yu said. "Looks like I saved you too."
Kurai looked to the masked figure "Who's your friend"
"He's GIlbert. Quiet guy." Yu replied.
Kurai asked Gilbert to put him down, and the silent man obeyed.
A sword suddenly aimed at Yu, but Kebe teleported her to safety in time. "Thank me later,loli" Kebe grinned.
"Thank you, Mr Lolicon" Yu smiled slyly.
"WHAT? That's my nickname now? Sob." Kebe groaned.
Nazrat raised his hands to flatten everyone except Kurai but failed. His face twisted in frustration. "Not fair. YOu're many and I'm alone. I can't even use my powers."
"That's what happens when you try to destroy my house." Yu said, brandishing a tiny dagger.
"You all annoy me" Nazrat growled.
Seiko's phone rang. Everyone paused around her even Nazrat.
"Yes, boss, what's up? We're busy." Seiko answered.
"I know. See that building behind the Sin? Nao's inside." the voice crackled.
"What!?? Why didn't you take her? I thought you both ran away." Seiko yelled.
"I told her to come at my place but she stopped talking to me" the boss explained.
"You're a terrible father. We'll get her." closing the call.
"Kurai, Nao is in her meditation room, in the block behind Nazrat."
Fear twisted Kurai's face. "No way, I have to go."
"You're not going anywhere. Finish the fight here." Nazrat commanded.
"Maybe next time." Kurai shot back, sprinting toward the building.
Nazrat tried to follow but Gilbert intercepted, kneeing Nazrat's face.
"Ow, my face!" Nazrat screamed.
GIlbert taunted, inviting Nazrat to attack. Nazrat charged, kicking GIlbert hard.
"You're no match. Only that boy can deal with me. I'll finish you all, then him."
Kurai reached the building but didn't know the apartment number. He shouted but got no answer.
Calling his bass, he got the info and smashed through a sixth-floor window.
Inside, Nao floated, meditating and almost naked.
Embarrassed, Kurai shook her awake as instructed. Nao panicked and slapped him. "What are you doing here?! Don't you see I'm almost naked?!"
Kurai took a breath and hoisted her onto his shoulder. Nao struggled. "Let me go, you monster!"
Kurai paused, pain in her words sinking in. He looked down, broken. Ignoring protests, he carried her to the window.
"See that? We're fighting for your life."
"I don't see anyone."
Kurai looked up. Everyone was gone.
"We have to move. Fast."
"No way. You let me stay there, you psycho! Now you're seeing things too? Stop kidnapping me!"
"Sorry, can't do that."
"Peek-a-boo!" Nazrat appeared.
Kurai threw Nao down and kicked Nazrat into the air, diving to catch her just in time.
"Who was that??" Nao gasped.
"The bad guy we have to kill."
"Run! Go to your father's house. Taxi, whatever. Just get out."
Nao hesitated. "Okay...hope everyone's okay."
"Me too."
Nao sprinted away. Kurai faced Nazrat.
"Now it's just us"
"It wasn't that hard to beat them, but that little brat made me weaker by using that anti gravitational field of hers. I had to make sure she is not able to use that thing ever again. They were close. Your friend with teleports and that milf were really almost going to kill me."
Kurai's voice shook. "Don't talk about Kebe and Seiko like that."
"Gonna do something?"
Kurai moved so fast he seemed to teleport to Nazrat's face. "Do what they wanted me to do."
"Hah, like you can do anything." Nazrat pushed him back. "Let me show you what I showed them."
A mini portal opened above Nazrat.
He pulled out a golden apple.
