"But...how...?" Nazrat stammered, blood trickling from his mouth.
Kurai stood tall, eyes blazing. "Looks like your Golden Apple worked."
Nazrat's voice weakened. "But...I saw you dying..."
Kurai smirked. "I think I actually died for a second."
With a swift, fluid 360 spin, Kurai kicked Nazrat away. "You don't have much time left in this form, do you?"
Nazrat sneered defiantly. "I can take as many apples as I want. Don't worry about me."
"Then that means I can beat you as many times as I want." Kurai shot back.
Fists and feet flew in a relentless storm of blows. Their hands bruised and purple from the constant impact.
Nazrat backed off, panting hard. "I can't beat you like this." he addmitted.
Without warning, he turned and sprinted towards Nao.
Despite her head start, Nazrat was far faster.
Kurai chased him, instantly thinking Nazrat was fleeing.
But Nazrat grabbed Nao, clamping a hand tightly over her mouth.
Kurai arrived just in time, disbelief washing over his face.
'This wouldn't have happened if I hadn't been so full of myself...or so "fun" fighting Nazrat'
"Leave the girl alone, Nazrat." Kurai demanded, voice cold.
"Don't you dare touch her. Let her go, right now."
Nazrat squeezed Nao's breasts. She screamed and cried.
"You'll have to kill me first." Nazrat said, voice dripping with menace.
Kurai moved fast, sliding behind Nazrat, sword thrusting toward his back.
Nazrat turned and used Nao as a shield.
Blood sprayed everywhere as Nazrat laughed. "Hahaha, you just lost that girl, idiot."
Kurai smirked. "Adrenaline much still be in your veins...because you got hit by my sword, Nazrat."
Nazrat looked down, eyes wide. The blood was indeed his own.
"No...NO! HOW DID YOU DO THAT?" he screamed, dowing his weapon, aiming to kill Nao in revenge.
But Nao was gone, vanished from his grasp.
"She got out on her own." Kurai said calmly.
"Now it's just the two of us."
Nazrat's rage boiled over. "No...this can't be. I won't lose to a simple human. Humans are meant to be slaves."
Their swords clashed, sparks flying.
Kurai cut off Nazrat's left hand, but Nazrat barely flinched, powered by the Golden Apple.
Kura's own strength faded; dizziness and exhaustion creeping in.
His strikes grew fueled by pure rage.
'I am not gonna last longer than him, I can't out-sustain his powers. There is only one solution.'
He backed off. "This is the end."
A wide, powerful swing from left to right, then a full speed charge.
"You won't escape alive for what you did. You'll pay the ultimate price. DEATH."
With his right hand, Kurai grabbed Nazrat's neck.
With his left, he pierced Nazrat's stomach, carving a gruesome hole.
Nazrat slammed his fists into Kurai's face repeatedly, but Kurai stood firm.
"There's no need to hit me. You and I are already dead."
Suddenly, a violent wind of energy sliced through them. Both were cut in half.
Kurai's vision darkened.
He collapsed.
Why is everything black?
Why can't I see anything?
Am I dead?
Did I win?
Is Nazrat dead?
....It's cold.
