Rapscallion and Kurai walked through the dimly lit hall of a basement, the air thick with tension.
"How far is this Youkai?" Kurai asked, his voice echoing slightly in the narrow corridor.
"Don't worry, it isn't far."
They reached the end of the hall, where Rapscallion opened a heavy door. Instantly, Kurai sensed a powerful force emanating from within. The room was long and dark, the air filled with ominous presence.
"What's this feeling? I swear I felt it before." Kurai muttered, his heart pounding.
"You'll know when we get there." smiling mysteriously.
A sudden, sharp pain stabbed through Kurai's heart, causing him to gasp.
"What? You can't endure this power?" Rapscallion teased, still smiling. "Don't worry, you will be okay. Get over it and keep walking."
The room was almost pitch-black, with barely any light to see by. Suddenly, Rapscallion stopped Kurai.
"Did we make it?" Kurai asked, breathing heavily.
"Yes." Rapscallion's face turning serious.
The lights flickered on, all focused on a figure at the far end of the room.
"No way." Kurai whispered, his eyes widening in shock.
"What a coincidence to meet again." said the figure, a familiar face to Kurai's not so long past.
Rapscallion stood with a proud, almost evil smile.
"Long time no see, shithead." the figure said.
"How are you still alive? How are you here?" Kurai demanded.
"After you almost killed me, I got so weak that a random Akuma sold me to Rapscallion, and now I am trapped here." the figure replied.
"So my sword didn't kill you in the end." Kurai said, realization dawning on him. "And that's why I knew this feeling, it's the same as it was at that cinema. You are really that shitty eye."
"Yes. His name is Aghanashini. This is the Youkai you will make a contract with." Rapscallion declared.
"A contract? With a human? Especially HIM? He made me what I am now. Trapped in this prison. You won't have a contract with me." Aghanashini said defiantly.
"I helped you all this time to recover. You must do as I say."
Aghanashini froze, his defiance momentarily halted. "I will make a contract with you human. But the price won't be cheap."
"Not any contract. I want a possession contract." Rapscallion specified.
Aghanashini looked confused and asked "Are you sure about that? Are you that insane?"
"And always will be." Rapscallion affirmed.
"The moment I escape this place, you will regret your whole life for keeping me here like a dog. Do you understand that?" Aghanashini threatened.
"Only if you can compete with the power of this pleb."
"So you really think he has a chance, do you?" Aghanashini asked.
"Everything is possible. Even you, a Destroyed of Sins, are in this room, captured by me. Don't underestimate everyone."
"I will take this as a bet."
Aghanashini turned into a human form. Kurai stared in shock.
"Why are you looking at me like that? This is my human form."
"Every Youkai has one?" Kurai asked, still stunned.
"YES?? DON'T YOU KNOW?" Aghanashini snapped. "Where did you get this guy?? Being so strong, but no knowledge??"
"I don't need to answer any of your questions."
"Tsk. You are a shithead as well." Aghanashini whispered.
Rapscallion approached Aghanashini and put a dagger to his neck. "Do you see in what position you are right now? Do you actually dare to trash talk me? Do it one more time, and you are dead. I don't have time to waste with you." pushing Aghanashini with his elbow.
"What a disgusting creature, how dare he even think about saying anything to me. You made me angry this time. I don't have time for that, and you are playing around." Rapscallion fumed. "Kurai, the plan has changed. If you get possessed for more than 5 seconds, I will kill you both."
