"My Itsuko...is nonexistent? This...can't be possible..." Kurai muttered in disbelief.
"You can think I'm lying, but as you can see, you can't use your sword. It wouldn't be a problem if you were only a soul. Itsuko is a power coming from your soul."
"With or without Itsuko, you won't get out of here without making a contract with a Youkai. I saved you only for a reason. I believe you are capable of making one. In case you don't know what a contract is or how it works, a contract is made by an entity with a Youkai. HUmans normally have a highly lowered chance of acquiring one. Youkai hate humans; I don't know why though. To make one, you need to give something in exchange for power, knowledge, or whatever you are looking for. Everything has a price, and the price is most often decided by the Youkai.
When a contract succeeds, the entity acquires a part of the Youkai's power they made a contract with. Careful! The Youkai is not giving you any power; you just gain a new ability. For example, if you want to see through walls, you will get that ability. The Youkai won't grant you that power whenever you need it. For the rest of your life, you will have that ability as YOUR ability. I hope I made it clear.
Though there are some possession contracts. By making one of those, you will be able to acquire the
full power of a Youkai, if the Youkai lets you. In the case of a normal contract, the power you gain will be as powerful as you are. In a possession contract, your power has nothing to do with the power the Youkai gives you. The Youkai can give more of their power to the other entity, even up to 100% (though on Earth, Youkai can't use more than 10% of their actual power), because the one who wields the power is the holder, not the Youkai.
But through this type of contract, if you are not strong enough, the Youkai can possess the body and control it as they please. If you didn't get it till now, you will make a possession contract because I want you to be as strong as you can get. My only purpose is to get killed by someone stronger than me. And you caught my eye. If a contract fails, the Youkai captures the entity and ends the same way a possession contract ends if you are not strong enough. So in both cases, I can get use of you because I can control almost every Youkai to do almost anything I want."
"So I just got saved only to get controlled by an idiotic Sin?" Kurai retorted.
"You don't need to talk like that, Kurai. As you may know, this is your chance to see your friends
again." Rapscallion said.
"How pathetic I have become..." Kurai lamented.
"Tell me when you are ready to make the contract. If you want, I can leave you alone with Mia and Aima a little longer. But you can't stay here more than a day in peace, so I suggest you decide faster, or it will become riskier." Rapscallion advised.
'Will that change anything anyway? Isn't everyone dead already?... Seiko couldn't possibly die though...there's absolutely no way she would...'
"You said you saw everything. Are my friends dead?
"Hmm...I don't want to ruin the surprise. You gotta chose the contract if you want to know."
"Just get me to that Youkai." Kurai said decisively.
Rapscallion made a creepy, wide smile and then enveloped himself and Kurai in smoke.
"Did you see, Mia..? HE TOUCHED ME FOR 0.7 SECONDS." Aima exclaimed.
"HE TOUCHED ME FOR A FULL SECOND. MY BODY IS BLESSED." Mia responded.
"AGGGGHHHHH CESFSEIFIVJNSRVBSVS." Mia and Aima screamed in unison.
