"You've been avoiding me for too long Kuron."
A deathly cold tone called from behind him, which ultimately made him turn around with a slight shiver, realizing who the voice belonged to.
"I see, so it's that time again."
Kuron proclaimed as he was now staring at the sixth celestial knight, an entity who was bound by no laws. What stood before Kuron was the epitome of death.
"Let's see how strong you've gotten"
Ayami stated indifferently, her pale hand lazily reaching to the handle of her sheathed sword.
Then in a beat of hear, Kuron was already in motion of delivering a lethal hook. Suddenly, he caught the reflection of a metallic object sweeping across his vision.
Ayami has drew her sword and delivered a horizontal swing a literal second before Kuron initial of speed.
With practiced ease Kuron had halted his movement mid swing and ducked, narrowly avoiding the blade by a hair's length.
Following with his momentum, he planted his hands on the ground and lifted himself with ease, pushing off the ground and flipping himself forward to deliver a swift axe kick.
Unfortunately, Ayami has already stepped to the side in anticipation of his counterattack, avoiding the axe kick with predicted ease.
Retracting her arm that held the sword, she plunged it forward in a jab towards Kuron chest. Her movement was swift and wasted no extra motion, attacking as if she already knew the next move.
Then much to Ayami shock, Kuron had slammed his palm against the blade flat side, surging his soul energy through it with enough force to break it clean in half.
"That's a first."
Ayami exclaimed in subtle surprise, spinning with unnatural swiftness and landed a solid side kick to Kuron's chest, launching him back and into a wall.
"This will be the last time I allow such a thing. You better win"
Ayami exclaimed and without uttering another word, she vanished with no trace of her presence besides a slightly battered Kuron.
.
It has been a few weeks since Kuron's encounter with Ayami and the alteration of reality.
Now, he sat in the back of a classroom while gazing out the slightly open window next to him.
"Wassup K"
An all too familiar voice called out, snapping Kuron out of his trance and swiftly glancing up with wide eyes.
In front of him was none other Kuriko, his rival and best friend that had supposedly died by Shura's hand.
"Kuriko? How-"
Kuron began but his sentence was cut short by Kuriko gesturing for Kuron to 'be quiet', earning a confused look from said boy.
"I'll tell you later. Anyways, things are a little different now."
Kuriko stated with a dismissive attitude, pointing his thumb towards the classroom door that slowly slid open.
Suddenly, a flood of immense magical essence filled the room which made every student in the classroom stand in alert, even other teachers and students from different classrooms ran out to see what the immense energy was.
"No way..."
Kuron uttered out in disbelief as someone entered the classroom, a person Kuron did not expect to even be within the same universe as.
"Hello everyone my name is Kuro Nasaki, Kuron Nasaki's twin brother."
Kuro stated with a small smile, his calculating and cold golden eyes gazing at Kuron's own shocked and widened eyes.
This made everyone turn to Kuron with confused expressions, though they were all mostly shocked at the revelation.
"TWIN BROTHER?!"
The students collectively yelled out in confusion.
.
"What the hell are you doing here"
Kuron spat out through his gritted teeth, pressing Kuro against a locker, though Kuro did not retaliate and instead kept a mischievous smirk on his face.
"I did a tad bit of reality manipulation before yours overpowered mine. Don't worry, I'm not here to cause problems in fact it's quite the opposite."
Kuro stated which did not ease Kuron's frustration, instead it fueled it even more. This reaction made Kuro giggle in mockery, earning Kuron's ire even further.
"Give me one reason why I shouldn't kill you right now."
Kuron stated coldly, earning an exhausted sigh from Kuro.
"Wow. I guess that magic made you dumb, would've been better to stay with my identity. Anyways, it's because Shura's not dead. In fact, she regained quite a decent portion of her power and is hunting the other knights down to kill both of us."
Kuro explained as if it was common knowledge, which made Kuron ease up on Kuro and take a slight step back.
"Thanks. Anyway, no matter how hard you try we will always be opposite sides of the same coin. You're the magical aspect and I'm the scientific aspect, we are the foundation of all reality and thus are immortal by nature. That's only if Shura doesn't regain her full power and destroy us..."
Kuro continued, straightening out his academy uniform and walking past Kuron with a serious expression.
"That will be the end of our story"
Kuro stated in a revelation that Shura wasn't the villain, instead it was them that were the villains.
"N-no it can't be, I-I helped people?"
Kuron stammered out which earned a mocking chuckle from the receding Kuro, then realization has hit him like a truck.
Memories of him destroying the very planet itself resurfaced, forcing him to clutch his head in despair.
"That's right Kuron...we are the villains of this story"
.
Oka eyes fluttered open to reveal her black colored eyes, filled with anger and fear. Her body was covered in sweat from head to toe, and memories of a certain event kept replaying in her mind.
"That son of a bitch! I'll kill him"
The student council president yelled out, standing up from her bed and putting on her academy uniform.
Despite the lingering thought of the events to be just a dream, she knew from experience that the very universe was altered.
"Do you truly believe you can defeat him as you are now?"
Shura voice suddenly proclaimed from within the dark corner of Oka's room. This made the girl subtly flinch back in fear, though she quickly recomposed herself.
"I know I can't. Please goddess Shura, lend me some of your power. I want to stop him."
Oka pleaded which earned a smile from Shura, who finally stepped out of the darkness to reveal her partially restored form.
"I will bestow upon you, the fundamental forces that is the foundation of each universe."
Shura stated with her hand outstretched towards Oka.Then an unnatural light submerged the room.
.
"Wow Kuro, you're so smart."
A female student of the academy proclaimed in praise, earning a thanks from Kuro and an annoyed sigh from Kuron who stood nearby.
"Is that all you guys do? Go find something better to do with your lives instead of-"
Kuron began his rant but his sentence was cut off by Kuriko covering his mouth, much to the ire of Kuron.
"Wow K, no wonder you're not popular."
Kuriko stated with a chuckle, removing his hand from Kuron mouth, then slipping his hands into the pockets of his own academy uniform.
"I don't want to be, but I refuse for them to suck up to this guy."
Kuron stated with a thumb pointed towards Kuro, which made Kuro laught at the statement made.
"Jealously is one hell of a drug~"
Kuro stated in a joking manner, earning a subtle chuckle from Kuriko and a huff from Kuron.
Then the calm atmosphere has shifted when Kuro narrowed his eyes, which did not got unnoticed by Kuriko & Kuron.
"Watch out!"
Kuro shouted and pushed both Kuron & Kuriko out the way just as the ceiling of the academy was reduced to dust.
From the ceiling a multicolored beam slammed down right above Kuro.
"Impossible. That man shouldn't be here"
Oka stated from outside the academy, her gaze sharp and calculating as she watched the attack rip apart half the building.
