Evelin's POV
Nobody saw it coming when I swung myself onto that horse.
Everyone just stood there, jaws practically on the ground.
I grabbed the reins with confidence, leaned into the horse's neck, squeezed my legs against its sides, and took off at full speed.
Those fluid movements made it crystal clear—I knew exactly what I was doing on horseback.
Grey looked like he'd seen a ghost. He obviously had no clue I could handle a horse.
Watching me up there, I must have seemed like a complete stranger to him. Three years of marriage, and he never knew I could ride like this.
My hair whipped behind me in the wind, and I felt that familiar rush—fearless and alive, like I was back in my element.
Meanwhile, Grace clung to Grey, looking just as shocked. She was probably wondering how the hell I could possibly handle such a wild horse.
I could practically feel her hoping I'd get thrown off.
