Selina hauled me to the aviation exhibition, practically dragging me through the entrance.
Being former air force special ops, I actually looked forward to this kind of event.
The country's major private airlines had set up impressive displays, drawing not just industry reps but crowds of aviation fanatics too.
Families wandered around with wide-eyed kids, pointing at the gleaming aircraft.
The moment we walked in, Selina bolted off to schmooze with some key suppliers, hunting for business deals.
I was perfectly content to wander solo.
A family caught my attention across the way, and my throat tightened unexpectedly.
Growing up, my parents used to grip my hand and my brother's as we explored exhibitions just like this one. Back then, our little family unit felt unbreakable.
Now... just my brother and me remained.
And he'd vanished without a trace.
I made myself a silent promise - I'd track him down no matter what it took. He had to be alive somewhere.
