Evelin's POV
I felt Grey's arms suddenly lose their warmth as I pulled away from him. "You're leaving?" His voice cracked with surprise.
"Of course. Did you honestly expect me to stay after everything that happened?" I shot back. "We're getting divorced anyway. I'm just leaving a bit sooner than planned."
"Divorced in a few days?" Grey's face went pale. "You can't be serious about that ridiculous contract Mom forced me to sign behind my back. I already told you—I never wanted this divorce."
I knew he'd learned about the divorce papers and my thirty-million-dollar demand from Dalia at the police station.
"I don't care whether you knew about it before or not. I want out of this marriage," I said firmly.
Jealousy flashed in his eyes. "Is this about Jimmy? Did you find someone who can give you more than I can?"
