Evelin's POV
I reached the shooting range Jimmy had told me about. This upscale, exclusive facility wasn't somewhere you could simply stroll into without membership.
Dalton, Jimmy's personal secretary, stood waiting outside. When he spotted me, he rushed forward. "Mr. Hamilton asked me to escort you here, Mrs. Ford."
"I appreciate it," I responded courteously.
"My pleasure," Dalton answered, his voice carrying unusual respect. Working as Jimmy's personal secretary, he rarely displayed such deference toward Bonnie's elite offspring.
Though I wasn't from high society, I was clearly someone Jimmy regarded highly. From his respectful tone, I could guess my marital status likely didn't matter to a man like Mr. Hamilton.
"This way, Mrs. Ford," Dalton said, guiding me through the entrance.
