Chapter 15 - 15

Having mastered the correct method, for Ymir to compete against ordinary people with his current body truly felt a bit like bullying.

Matt only coached for one game and already knew that Ymir had understood the rules of billiards.

While Ymir and Redhead's attention were both focused on the game, he quietly walked towards the door.

Matt understood that the time that followed would be Ymir's stage alone.

Everything he could teach and guide Ymir had already been said.

As someone who possessed superpowers, it was destined that he would encounter troubles that ordinary people could not, or even imagine.

Matt had also experienced these troubles, so he could understand the hesitation and struggles in Ymir's heart.

However, after his own mediation, coupled with Feron's subordinates timely interruption, Ymir should now be able to emerge from the darkness in his heart.

To be honest, Matt didn't want to be enemies with Ymir.

He didn't know if Ymir was a natural genetic mutant or a later mutation, but the superpowers he possessed were truly terrifying.

Unlike everyone Matt had ever met, just the tip of the iceberg Ymir displayed was enough to make Matt wary.

It's worth noting that during the previous battle, Matt's attention was actually more focused on Ymir.

The billiard hall was dimly lit to create an atmosphere, but this was not an obstacle for Matt, who was Daredevil.

During the few moments when Ymir transformed into a Void Ghost Body while fighting those hooligans, even Matt's keen senses couldn't detect his presence.

It was as if that place was originally empty, with no physical entity existing there.

Matt thought that no other sense besides sight could observe Ymir.

In fact, this was also wrong; as long as Ymir wished, he could completely conceal his form at any time.

This was true invisibility; no one could imagine how powerful a vengeful ghost with various supernatural abilities could be.

So powerful that it was unsolvable, like Freddy from "A Nightmare on Elm Street" or Kayako from "The Grudge."

Incomprehensible, uncrackable!

This was a power different from all the heroes Matt knew, whether it was Iron Man, Doctor Strange, or his good friend Spider-Man, none of them possessed such an ability.

Matt only hoped that Ymir would not be influenced by the negative resentment in his heart and become a supervillain.

The best possibility would be for Ymir never to discover these abilities throughout his life.

However, Matt had not imagined how long a ghost's "lifetime" could truly be.

Or, to put it another way, as a vengeful ghost, would Ymir truly have a day when his life ended?

What a joke, can an already deceased existence die again?

In the Marvel world, people who die go to heaven or hell based on their morality in life.

Including angels in heaven and demons in hell, there would simply be no second ghost appearing, because from the moment this multiverse was born, there was no such law.

And Ymir himself, as a unique vengeful ghost, hadn't thought as far as Daredevil Matt.

All his energy was currently invested in a small game of billiards.

Without Matt's guidance, Ymir's billiards skills immediately dropped significantly.

After mastering some basic billiards techniques, although he wouldn't be completely overwhelmed by Redhead as in the first game, it was still very difficult to defeat Redhead without cheating using his dark power.

No one had ever stipulated that power couldn't be used in front of ordinary people, but after witnessing Daredevil Matt's attitude towards life, Ymir unconsciously began to imitate him.

Just as Spider-Man's Uncle Ben said in the movie Ymir watched in his previous life: With great power comes great responsibility.

Ymir didn't feel that he was capable of taking on any responsibility for maintaining world peace, nor had he prepared himself mentally for it.

He just wanted to live freely, unless someone disturbed the peace of his life...

Facing Ymir, whose skills had soared significantly compared to the first game, beads of sweat gradually began to appear on Redhead's forehead.

He felt like he wasn't playing against a novice, but rather sparring with a master who had played hundreds of games.

Only, the stakes of this sparring match were a bit high.

If Ymir lost, he wouldn't have to pay anything.

But if he lost, Redhead believed that damned blind man would definitely keep his word and break his right hand to compensate Jeff, the owner of the billiard hall.

Recalling Matt's superb skills, which absolutely shouldn't appear on a blind person, cold sweat involuntarily streamed down Redhead's back.

He now only secretly regretted not checking the almanac before going out and encountering such an ominous person.

Redhead subconsciously glanced at the corner where Matt had been standing.

He then realized that at some point, that terrifyingly formidable blind man had disappeared.

He looked up in disbelief, scanning the billiard hall, and sure enough, the blind man was gone.

Now, he was only playing against this young man still wearing a Columbia University uniform.

The billiard table had reached a stalemate; Ymir and Redhead's scores were neck and neck, with only the last black ball remaining on the table, refusing to go into the pocket.

They were playing authentic English Snooker, with a total of 22 balls.

There were 15 red balls and 6 colored balls, with the black ball having the highest value at 7 points.

Whether it was Ymir or the Redhead youth, sinking the black ball would end the game, and either had a chance to win.

Fortunately, the next shot was Ymir's turn, and he was quite nervous.

In two worlds, this was Ymir's first time competing against someone fairly without using his superpowers.

He really wanted to win, and Redhead dared not lose.

Originally, Redhead's attention was also focused on the billiard table, his jaws clenched tightly.

However, now that Matt was gone, Redhead didn't pay any mind to the remaining young man.

He had already asked his subordinates, and it wasn't that Ymir was very powerful; his subordinates had all been exhausted by themselves.

Now that Matt had disappeared and only Ymir was left, Redhead was confident that with his addition, it would be a piece of cake for so many of them to deal with Ymir.

Moreover, it seemed that this young man had a close relationship with that formidable blind man.

As long as he could catch Ymir, he wouldn't have to worry about not being able to take revenge on Matt.

In Redhead's mind, he had a belly full of evil schemes; as long as he grasped the enemy's weaknesses, he wouldn't have to fear how powerful the enemy was, because it would all be useless.
