Chapter 16 - 16

You're in my way," Emil said, reaching out to push aside the red-haired man blocking the pool table, but the previously listless red-haired man suddenly stiffened as if injected with hormones. His eyes coldly fell on Emil, and he grinned hideously: "Hahaha, little thing, who do you think you're talking to?"

He magnanimously said, "Now, you kneel and kowtow to My Lord, and say you're sorry. My Lord can still let you live until tomorrow, otherwise, I'll kill you right now!"

The red-haired man, as if performing magic, reached behind his waist and pulled out a pistol.

"Uh, what are you saying?" Emil looked at the red-haired young man in front of him, with an expression that suggested the other party hadn't woken up or was running a fever: "I think I might not have heard what you said clearly."

"Look back, your backer, that damned blind man, is gone. Little thing, you've been abandoned." The red-haired man waved his pistol, his tone showing no regard for Emil: "Kneel down yourself, don't force my hand, that will make you suffer even more!"

"Ah, where is Mr. Matt?" Emil looked back and, sure enough, at some unknown point, Matt had already left the pool bar.

Emil pouted, feeling that this Daredevil didn't seem so reliable after all.

The red-haired man's face twitched slightly. He stared intensely at Emil, but to his disappointment, there was dissatisfaction and even a hint of sulking on Emil's face, but not the fear he wanted to see.

This attitude was not what the red-haired man liked to see. He put his finger on the trigger, aiming at Emil: "Poor little thing, do you have anything else to say now?"

Emil, with a gun pointed at him by the red-haired man, scratched his head somewhat innocently, and after careful thought, he finally spoke: "How about we finish this game first?"

He had already planned the shot in his mind and was eager to win his first gamble in this World since his revival.

"Alright, no, what did you say?" The red-haired man initially didn't react to what Emil was saying. He thought Emil had given in and was begging for mercy.

Just as he was about to put away the pistol he used to scare him, he suddenly realized something was wrong. The red-haired man's eyes immediately bulged, and an uncontrollable surge of anger welled up in his chest. He couldn't believe that a poor student dared to mock him!

"I told you to play pool, damn it!"

The red-haired man was indeed an elite thug under My Lord Feren, the Big Boss of Hell's Kitchen. He placed his hand under the pool table and with a sudden forceful heave, he flipped the pool table upside down.

He had never hated pool as much as he did today; it had almost cost him his right hand.

"You, you bastard..." Emil still held the pool cue, looking rather pitifully as the pool table was overturned by the red-haired man. A faint green light slowly emanated from his eyes, and ghost fire began to burn.

Emil threw away the pool cue in his hand, looked up, and shook his head at the red-haired man: "Why are you in such a hurry to die? According to the wager, if I won, I would only break one of your arms. But now, you have violated the rules of the game. I judge you guilty!"

The red-haired man and his group of subordinates were originally preparing to surround Emil and teach him a good lesson, but they quickly saw the green ghostly light constantly flickering in Emil's eye sockets: "Your eyes..."

Following Big Boss Feren, he had heard many legends about Superheroes, super villains, and Mutants.

In the past, the red-haired man always thought these were just absurd urban legends, but now, seeing Emil's abnormality, he immediately broke out in a cold sweat, and all his hairs stood on end.

"You, you must be a devil!" The red-haired man dared to beat mortals, and even dared to fight Daredevil Matt, but in the face of such a supernatural existence, he was equally filled with fear.

He and his subordinates shivered as they retreated.

The other customers in the pool bar, as well as the owner Jeffer, only felt that the temperature in the bar had suddenly dropped significantly for some reason, and did not notice any other abnormalities.

Emil felt the intense fear and grievance emanating from the red-haired man and the others. He took a deep breath, and with a somewhat enjoyable expression, pointed at them and said: "You have broken the rules of the game. Now, I declare you all guilty, and let the darkness bring you fear!"

The ghost fire in his eyes burned fiercely, and an astonishing Yin Power, imperceptible to mortals, immediately spread from Emil's body.

This Yin Power, like a tide, quickly filled the entire pool bar. Except for the owner Jeffer, who shivered from the cold, hugging his arms, and insisted on staying, the other curious customers all fled.

This was the cold brought by Yin Power; even with more clothes, it could not be resisted. Emil was quite surprised that the owner of the pool bar endured the cold emanating from the bottom of his heart and stayed.

All the subordinates brought by the red-haired man also wanted to escape from here, but countless grayish-black withered claws crawled out from under the ground.

These skin-wrapped skeletal claws fiercely grabbed the legs of the red-haired man and his group. Their numbers were so vast that at a glance, it looked as if a patch of grayish-black flowers had been planted on the floor of the pool bar.

This was Emil's place of cursed grievance, a sub-World different from the current World. Although the pool bar owner Jeffer was also drawn in, under Emil's deliberate control, he was not subjected to any attacks.

However, even without Emil's attack, an ordinary person suddenly seeing this terrifying scene would be enough to have nightmares for days and nights.

Speaking of nightmares, Emil's attack did not stop there; he completely treated the red-haired man and others as White Mice to test his abilities.

Fear appeared on the red-haired man's face: "No, no, Big Boss, listen to my explanation..."

It seemed that in the red-haired man's heart, the most terrifying thing was not ghosts or gods, but his Big Boss. It was unknown what these subordinates of Feren encountered in the illusory World Emil led them into; one by one, their faces turned purple with fear.

The red-haired man knelt on the ground, his hands futilely grasping at the air: "Big Boss Feren, I didn't intentionally anger the Big Boss, you must help me. Please..."

"Hmm!" Emil was greatly surprised. In his opinion, Feren, as one of the underground Big Boss of Hell's Kitchen, was already a formidable villain.

Could it be that there was another Big Boss behind Feren?

He couldn't suppress his curiosity, and his body immediately transformed into a wisp of smoke, drifting into the red-haired man's illusion. Everything that appeared in the illusion was actually composed of the red-haired man's own mental impressions, so it could not be manipulated by Emil like a dream.
