In Red Hair's illusion, there was only darkness, indicating that there was not a trace of light in this person's heart; he was a thorough dark element.
And within this dark element's illusion, a sea of blood suddenly surged from the ground, forcefully carving out a space from the darkness.
In the center of the ocean of blood, a stout and strong man was revealed.
This man was simply sitting in a chair, dressed in a white suit and dark brown trousers.
In one hand, he was holding a pawn from international chess, seemingly deep in thought.
However, this man, even with his eyes closed in contemplation, was capable of instilling more fear in Red Hair than any demon or monster.
Yes, this was the source of Red Hair's deepest fear, and also the root of evil embedded in the entire U.S. underworld.
Red Hair knelt on the ground, countless torture instruments simultaneously acting upon him, tormenting him.
Unlike the ability to enter dreams, all the wounds appearing in the illusion were, after all, only fantasies and could not truly reflect on his physical body in reality.
However, being in the Barren Claw Prairie, the inner World constructed by Emil's Resentful Power, every moment, barren claws scratched countless bloody marks onto Red Hair's body.
No part of his body escaped, and blood quickly covered him entirely.
Yet, within the illusion, Red Hair did not perceive the slightest loss of his life force; he still had the strength to wail, hoping that Kingpin, seated on the throne, would spare his life.
This image was too distinct; Emil frowned, somewhat troubled.
He was certain he had seen this image in movies in his previous life, but who exactly was it?
Emil had seen a fair number of movies in his previous life, neither too many nor too few, and he simply couldn't recall any character fitting this image.
He looked up, his gaze fixed on the white-suited Fat Man.
Almost simultaneously with Emil's gaze falling upon him, the white-suited Fat Man, seated above the sea of blood, suddenly opened his eyes.
He roared and smashed the chessboard in front of him with both hands: "Who are you, daring to intrude into my empire, into my World!"
This was impossible; although it was Emil's first time using such a hallucinatory Ghost Wall ability, he never expected that an image, which should have been merely a memory in the mind of the target, would actually possess its own consciousness.
The Fat Man stood up, approximately two meters tall, and swung his two huge, muscular arms, fiercely grabbing towards Emil's neck.
Emil's face was horrified; he could feel the immense power contained within these arms.
He almost instinctively activated Yin Power, instantly transforming into a ethereal Ghost Body.
The iron arms passed through his body, and Emil, somewhat in lingering fear, looked up at this "giant."
Who exactly was this?
How could he have detected his presence?
Emil's heart was filled with surprise and doubt; Red Hair's illusion swayed, then shattered like a glass mirror struck by a small hammer.
Red Hair's soul had "died," and similarly, his body stopped breathing.
Without a host, this illusion World naturally ceased to exist; Emil, in the illusion, was ejected and returned to the pool hall already covered by the inner World.
Overwhelming barren claws intermittently scratched the subordinates Red Hair had brought, and these thugs, each immersed in their most terrifying illusion World, were completely oblivious to external harm.
Except for Old Jeff, who received special care, everyone else was enveloped in this gray-black paranormal horror.
With just a thought from Emil, all of Feren's subordinates sent to seize the pool hall would easily have their lives reaped by him.
But Emil was still pondering; suddenly, a flash of inspiration struck his mind, and he finally remembered who the white-suited giant was.
Yes, how could he forget?
The Super-criminal who appeared in the movie with Daredevil—Kingpin!
This was an extremely terrifying Super-criminal; it could be said that he was the emperor of the "underworld empire" of the U.S. underworld.
His track record of clashes with Superheroes alone, from a certain perspective, proved Kingpin's formidable nature.
Kingpin was the source of nearly 80% of criminal activity in the United States.
He first appeared as an enemy of Spider-Man, but quickly became a sworn enemy of Daredevil, and also clashed with The Punisher multiple times.
Destroying a gambling processing plant, thwarting a smuggling operation, or apprehending some gangsters might all touch upon the intricate web laid by Kingpin.
Whether it was Spider-Man, Daredevil, The Punisher, or the X-Men, all had encountered Kingpin, because any of their actions could potentially offend his dominion, so Kingpin always dealt with "superhumans" without holding back.
To be able to clash with so many Superheroes and still survive, living comfortably, is an ability not every Super-criminal possesses.
In Kingpin's eyes, even Spider-Man, Daredevil, and The Punisher were hardly worth mentioning, let alone Emil, a rookie who had just gained Super Powers.
Most importantly, Emil himself had never planned to oppose Kingpin.
In Emil's view, he and his sister Kathleen had their own lives.
And Kingpin ruled his underworld empire; these two should have been like parallel lines, never intersecting, but now... For a moment, the shouts and screams filling the pool hall's inner World could not reach Emil's ears.
He was contemplating how to resolve the situation.
Emil originally only intended to teach these people a lesson.
However, the plan went awry; first, Red Hair died in the soul collision between himself and Kingpin (as a consciousness entity), and on the other hand, leaving these people alive, it was hard to guarantee that no one would remember his appearance.
But killing so many living people at once was something Emil truly couldn't accept.
Just as he was caught between a rock and a hard place, a very timid voice suddenly appeared in his ear: "Mr. Emil, Mr. Matt asked me to leave a message for you."
"Mr. Matt?" Emil startled from his reverie; the two words "Matt" struck him like a bolt of lightning in his mind.
That's right, as the veteran hero Daredevil, Matt must know the identity of Feren's Big Boss behind him.
Moreover, Daredevil and Kingpin have had many direct confrontations.
Since Matt asked him to deal with these thugs, he must have left him a solution, right?
Perhaps, maybe, possibly, for some reason, Emil felt an inexplicable sense of trepidation.
Before dispelling the Cursed Resentment inner World, Emil finally made up his mind.
He gritted his teeth and increased the output of Yin Power, leaving only a group of unconscious thugs collapsed on the floor.
They had all been tormented to madness by their greatest fears in the illusion.
Even if they were rescued, they could only be sent to a mental hospital as samples for scientific research, without retaining any sanity.
