Chapter 3:Massacre Of The Fox
In the meantime,Rida was travelling after decades of training.The protection of the moonstone has final faded.
Now all he needed was a map to get to the Genshi palace.He had to hunt for his food and his body had grown slightly weaker.Rida stumbled across the wall of china,which went up to fourteen metres high.
Taking a deep breath,his feet moved swiftly,pouncing up the wall.Suddenly,he lost his grip and feel all the way back down to the ground,snapping a twig.
"Why does it always have to rain in this area?"
He muttered.Rida took a deep breath and bolted up the wall,this time,he got to the top.What Rida didn't know was there were a dozen of guards,six in each tower.They were facing the opposite direction of where he was,which is why they didn't spot him in the first place.
Rida started to sweat,he carefully took each step one at a time,being quick as well.
Briskly,he jumped off,scraping his paw on the other side of the wall.The guards noticed him.
"OPEN FIRE!"One shouted,they got their guns and started shooting Rida.BANG..BANG…BANG!Bullets flew everywhere,each flew at the speed of light.
"All of you cannot aim,give me the damn gun!"The leader demanded,he grabbed the gun and shot Rida repeatedly,adrenaline started to kick in,Rida was huffing and puffing,jump side to side,left and jump.His heart pounded rapidly..beat..beat..beat…
"CHASE AFTER HIM!"The leader commanded.
The guards slid down the silver pole and ran after Rida.Just before they could chase him,he had already disappeared out of thin air,from the hill onwards into the damp forests with deadly animals.
"Don't just stand there,go into the forest before I fire all of you!"
"YES SIR!"The guards gulped in fear.Now wasn't the time to tremble and break apart.They ran down into the depths of the woods,not knowing what they would encounter.
"Let's split up into three groups of four so we can cover more ground.If you're in danger,just scream."
"Alright."Agreed the other guards and they all set off in different directions.
Group A went through the bushes to see a vast mist covering a pond in the distance.
"Follow my lead."
One of the men whispered.They lurked closer and closer to the pond.Several stones rested beside a cloaked silhouette.
"Hello,sir!We are guards of the wall of China,we demand for you to step out of the way please,a fugitive is in the area!"
The figure remained silent,not moving a muscle.Not moving an inch.
Group A decided to go through the river to get to the over side.Loads of fish were deep in the pond,which got in the way.
They swam and swam,but not for long.One of the guards came to a moment of realisation.The figure sprinted towards them jumping into the river.
It started drowning one of the men,crushing his body.Blood went to the top of the pond,spreading out everywhere.Muffled noises could be heard coming from the depths of the pond.
As the bubbles rose,a body came up and just floated in the middle of the water,the other men stared in horror.
"QUICK,SWIM AS QUICK AS YOU CAN."Each one tried to swim,they got exhausted fast.Unfortunately,each men drowned,screaming in agony.Their cries were unheard and all of Group A died.
The figure took off the cloak,confirming to be Rida.He growled in angry,turning to another direction,where Group B was.He ran,huffing and puffing at a rapid speed.
In the meantime,Group B was lost,so they made a campfire and gathered some logs.
"Alright,who is going to tell the first story?"
"I will!"One of the men shouted.The group all sat tight,staring into the ember fire.
"One night,two children were in a Mansion,their names were Emma and Hunter.The two were playing chess in the bedroom when they heard a scream come from the kitchen.A fire had occurred and their parents died.The two became orphans and grew up in touhi village.A village full of dragons.They became assassins and that was it."
"That sounds accurate for some reason."A soldier said
"Yes,yes it does."Another soldier called out.
"The moral was to be careful and aware of where you are at.Don't forget that soldiers!"
"I'm going to get more sticks."
One of the men said.He left into the mist.The other men told their stories,by the time they finished,the man still hasn't returned.That's when they started to worry.Noises came from behind them.
"What was that?"One of the men began to shiver.Suddenly,a figure jumped off a tree,kicking one of the men in the face,causing him to bleed from his nose.
"AHHHHH!"
He screamed in intense pain.The other men took out their guns and started shooting the figure,which didn't work.
The figure turned out to be Rida again,he was bulletproof and the bullets bounced right off his body onto the men,slashing right through them.
They looked at him in horror,speechless.All of them,one by one fainted to the ground.Rida started picking them up and shoving into the fire.Ash spreaded around the area.Rida coughed and sat down on the log,taking a short break from the killings.
Group C started to notice it.
"A fire!I smell ash coming from this direction.Follow me!"
Rida then stood up and made his way to his next victims.The group spotted Rida,swinging from tree to tree,he then jumped onto the ground,creating a ring of dusk.the group started to cough,each one of them in a blink of an eye was thrown to the ground by Rida.
He started choking them,their faces turned red.In the end,they all died.Rida had caused 8 deaths in just 10 minutes.It was a killing spree that couldn't be stopped.
The final victims,Group D had their lanterns out while holding spears.Shuffling noises came from a bush.
"You hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"Are you deaf?Something was moving in the bush right in front of us."
The group then stood in silence…birds chipping ... ..snakes hissing ...rabbits digging.
CLASH!
Right in the head,Rida ripped off the man's head,blood splattering on the other men.
"THROW YOUR SPEARS,JUST THROW THEM."
Clanging and thudding was all you could hear.Rida obtained a few micro sized cuts before breaking the spears in half.
He took the sharp end of the spear and stabbed each one of them into each man's head.Their heads were jelly,being squashed by a knife.Rida got up and paced around the bodies,eventually,he ran to the way of Japan,where the Genshi were at.
