While making sure everyone in the camp was safe, Silva began walking towards where the crowd had formed watching the spectacle of being claimed.
As he came close, he saw campers kneeling towards Percy who had a symbol of a trident rotating on top of his head. As he watched the trident flickered away.
But it had done what was intended, it had done the damage it needed to do. The campers all knew that another child of the big three has been born. And if the distant thunder is not a coincidence, Zeus does too and so right now Zeus is going full on mental in accusing Poseidon for stealing his lightning bolt.
Silva looked at Luke from the corner of his eyes. He can see both a grimace and a sort of acceptance as well in his face. Luke's plan might not have worked in the way he wanted, but it still did the bare minimum.
Silva knew he can stop everything right now. But his instincts also told him that he cannot. Jason also had told him that his instincts will tell him how much he can change in the main timeline due to his influence. He can manipulate prophecies but at the same time he cannot break them.
He can bent the future, but breaking is an entirely different matter. Luke's mother was a seer who was able to foresee that her son would have a terrible future. And she lost her mind when she tried to look too much into it.
Luke's actions will one day make the gods serious about the kids they have. Its something that will happen.
And Silva's aim is to reduce the casualties in that future. He remembered in the Last Olympian where the camp beads had a picture of the empire state building surrounded by hundreds of names of campers who had died.
He's not going to let his friends become a name in a bead that will be forgotten after some time.
Silva made sure that the campers went back to their cabins safely. But while doing this, he was also able to see that most of the campers were looking at him with awe and some even with fear.
"That was so awesome dude, you never told me you can do something like that" Lee Fletcher from Apollo cabin came to him while going back.
"You can do it too with practice" Silva replied as the limits of demigods are most often not normal.
"No way man, seriously, are you sure you are not my brother or something. Even the older Apollo campers who left the camp told me that you surpassed anything they were able to do pretty easily. And what you did today. Killing twelve hellhounds at the same time.
You have to have a godly parent related to archery" he insisted.
"Maybe" Silva deflected the question. This was not the first time this question was asked as his archery was unrivalled in the camp. if not for the fact that Artemis never had a child, they would have connected his characteristics as well as his equipment to her immediately.
But Artemis having a child is an impossibility and the child being male would be an even more impossible situation for every Greek individual out there. Even Chiron told him that he would not have believed it if he had not seen it with his own eyes.
Silva watched as the last camper went inside the cabin. He knew he will have his hands full in a few days.
=======================================================
"Make sure to listen to Annabeth, but at the same time know that sometimes logic is not the answer" Silva advised Percy as he was about to go for his quest.
Percy nodded at that while tightening his hold on the sword he got from Chiron.
And just as they were about to leave, Luke came running towards them. Silva's eyes narrowed slightly as Luke gave the flying shoes to Percy.
He knew why Luke had brought the items in the last minute. If it had been with Percy before, Chiron would detected the presence of enchantments within it which would pull the wearer of the shoes towards Tartarus.
As Silva watched, the three of them went on for their quest having no idea about the troubles they are going to face. As they left, Silva knew that his real mission had just begun.
"The campers seems to be a bit tense about everything Chiron, I'll go and calm them down" Luke said as he began walking back towards the camp.
Silva silently watched him go while Chiron noticed the way Silva looked at Luke.
"Is there something wrong Silva?" Chiron asked.
"The camps going to be filled with scuffles for a few days Chiron and make sure to keep an eye on Luke" Silva directly said.
Chiron's brows furrowed as realisation seeped in.
"I thought being in camp and surrounding himself with a new family might have reduced his hatred of the gods. Guess I was a bit idealistic huh" Chiron muttered as he stood up from his wheelchair to full height.
"What's the plan?" Chiron asked.
"Bait him, he has allies, so we can use the gap in which Percy undergoes his quest to keep tabs of his allies. We will be able to weed out spies by making sure who all does not leave with him. Any demigod later using a communication artifact will help us to uncover who he had left in the camp to spy for him later" Chiron's brows furrowed even more at the answer.
"This is not going to end well; I don't want to see the camp go up in flames due to this" Chrion said.
"The camp is already burning Chiron. A lot of demigods are resenting the fact that their parent was never revealed. They don't care whether their parent was part of the twelve, all they wanted was to be recognised. But most gods don't care enough to just say that they had a kid" Silva replied and thunder boomed in the sky.
Chiron was a bit nervous at that and gave a warning look to Silva, but he did not refute it as even he knew that it was a truth many did not speak out loud.
"Lets go we don't know when the fire will start" Silva said not knowing that the fire will start with him.
After a few days.
"Tell the truth Silva, are you a child of the big three" Clarisse asked to him while surrounded by the entire camp half-blood members.
A/N- hope you like it.
