"That was the most I ever heard him speak in all these years" Hermes cabin's temporary councillor Travis commended as Silva left the room.
"Chiron what do you think about what Silva just said?" Beckendorf asked as they all turned towards him.
Chiron sighed as he answered.
"Truth of the matter is that the camp had more unity when it was divided in the World Wars when compared to the current state." He said as another wave of discouragement settled on the room. "That does not mean that we can't improve. Just take it all in and do better next time"
"What will we do about the traitors that were captured" the camper who took over Annabeth's duties asked.
"We will let them leave camp if they are still hell bend on joining Luke's side and the rest will be monitored until they gain our trust back" Chiron said "This was the decision I reached with Silva after a lot of discussion."
"What do you mean by that, how the hell can we let them go like that" the apollo cabin Counsellor asked.
"The only other option is execution, whom among you want to do that" Chiron asked seriously as he looked around the room.
Silence remained in the meeting room.
"Well, then its decided, we will go on with this plan" Chiron ended the day's meeting.
The next morning the campers were able to see a sizable number of their members disappear as they woke up to the day. They didn't need to ask about what happened as they realised they had joined the other side and the next time they meet, they might even kill or be killed by them.
There was a whole lot of change going on throughout the camp as they witnessed the Aphrodite cabin burning some kind of rank chart along with a set of white shoes. The Athena, Hephaestus and Apollo cabin among the many began to introduce a lot of changes in their arrangement of cabin rules and regulations.
Percy Jackson came back after his quest declaring that the war was not going through and found out that one of his friends that he had made at camp had turned into a terrorist and was actually responsible for everything that he had went through.
Annabeth was not believing it at first but hearing multiple campers accounts about her own mother being used by Luke to kill Silva had actually shook her to the core. She then had a message from her mother using her as an intermediary to give Silva an item as a way of apology for attacking him due to a misunderstanding.
Annabeth then had to accept the fact that her friend had changed in ways that she never even noticed. She went towards Silva to give the item that her mother passed onto her.
Silva was slightly surprised but accepted the gift and the apology. Annabeth also asked forgiveness for Luke's actions before she went away to learn about the changes currently happening in her cabin.
Silva stared as she hurriedly retreated to her cabin knowing that she might be going through a lot. She must have thrown herself to work so that she can distract herself from everything that had happened.
Silva then looked at the ring that Annabeth gave him. It is supposed to be an apology from the goddess of wisdom for attacking him yesterday. He put on the ring to see what would happen.
As he did, he realised the ring can resize itself to fit any finger. As it eased into his index finger, he thought about activating the special ability of his ring. The moment he did, he realised that everything in his point of vision had slowed down. the leaves were falling like moving in syrup, the campers in the distance were moving sluggishly.
Then Silva tried to move himself and realised that he was feeling extreme difficulty in moving right now. He realised what the ring's ability was.
'Accelerated perception' Silva thought as he willed for everything to return to normal and he found out that it did. He couldn't believe that he got an OP item from Athena for all the troubles that she had brought on him unknowingly.
'If I had this in yesterday's battle against Athena, I might not have been easily injured' Silva thought as he knew there was no scenario in which he would come out of that situation in one piece.
The fight between Percy and Ares can only be described as Ares underestimating Percy and paying the price for that action. Plus, Silva was sure that Percy was getting an extra amount of energy from the Sea as it would not have escaped Poseidon's senses.
Silva knew he had to get stronger for the future as he knew the threats won't be limited to just the Greek side. He would have to face the romans, the Nordic and the Egyptians.
Though he might boost his power if he gets his hand on a legitimate Egyptian artifact. Something to put a pin on for later.
But for now, he can enjoy the short peace he will have until next year.
At the same time in the Roman side of the demigods.
"Octavian, are you sure about the prophecy that you got" Reyna asked once more.
"Its not much of a prophecy, its more like an order or a revelation. The man known as Silva must be protected and respected if he ever comes to camp Jupiter and if not, the camp will endure the wrath of Goddess Diana herself" Octavian said while puzzled by the message. He was the son of Apollo, so the messages he was supposed to get was from Apollo, this is the first time he came across a message from his aunt.
Reyna's brows furrowed slightly as she took everything in. Camp Jupiter had become self sufficient without gods a long time ago, they still take quests and sometimes help from gods but a direct order like this has never been heard for a long time.
"Does this connect to any great prophecy that's supposed to happen soon" Reyna asked.
"I don't know Reyna, the only thing I was able to get while asking my father was that he had no idea, but it was better not to anger his sister" Octavious replied nervously while looking at the scattered cotton entrails of the stuffed animals.
The centurions around them also realised this was a signal for something serious that is going to happen in the near future.
