Silva was sitting on the branch of a tree resting after taking care of a few scuffles in the morning. It wasn't much, just a few of them starting a few fights due to rumors created by Luke's allies. Chiron and Silva were able to easily see who all were spreading the rumors. But they never acted on that information. They just made a few nature spirits monitor them closely.
As Silva was resting, he suddenly detected a large group of campers coming together in the centre of the camp's cabins.
'Can't I just sleep for a moment.'
As Silva ran near the location, he was able to see that this time the fight was bigger than anything that had happened before.
The camp had completely separated into two factions. Each choosing a side. One side chose Poseidon and the other chose Zeus. Just as they were about to clash into each other with their weapons.
*Thud*
An arrow suddenly landed right in the centre of the field. But the moment it did, both sides stopped as they recognised who had shot that arrow. They turned their heads to the side to see the strongest member of their camp standing there silently.
For a moment none of them spoke as they were able to feel that Silva was angry. They had never seen him angry before and they felt no need to see what would happen if he does get angry. Some of them gulped as they saw him staring at all of them one by one.
"This camp was made to protect the children of the gods from being killed by monsters" Silva's voice had a sharpness that reached the ears of every single demigod. "It is supposed to be a home for the demigods who want to protect themselves from any dangers, a place where they can meet people who understand what they are going through in their life.
I don't care about the war of the gods outside, but as long as you reside within this camp, any demigod that wants to harm another in battle" Silva said as drew an arrow in his bow and started channeling stamina within the arrow, increasing its lethality to horrifying levels.
The campers were not able to see what was happening to the arrow, but all of their godly instincts were warning them that they can't do shit if that arrow leaves that bow.
"Put your weapons down" Silva said and the campers immediately did as he said and dropped them knowing that Silva was not kidding.
Silva lowered his bow seeing that everyone was cooperating. But when he thought everything was over, a shout came from the centre of the crowd.
"Tell the truth Silva aren't you a child of the big three, isn't that why you are so strong compared to others!!!"
No one knew who asked the question, but the moment it was asked, every head turned towards Silva.
Clarisse's eyes widened as she too repeated the question.
Silva's eyes narrowed slightly at the current situation. He was able to see Luke's expression from the crowd without directly looking at him. He was able to see a sort of anticipation on his face.
'He might have thought I was a child of the big three due to my strength. But even if I was not and denied it, he might just use the rumours to say that I was hiding the truth and will create even more divisions within the camp.
If he had known my trued lineage, he would not have revealed that as capturing me without many people finding about it will help Kronos's cause even more.
The plan is good Luke, but you forgot the world we live in, plus I have no problems in using such easy methods'
Silva looked straight at the campers who were waiting for an answer to his question and said without any hesitation.
"I swear on river Styx that I am not the child of Zeus, Poseidon or Hades" the moment Silva said it, he can feel that three people had turned their attention towards him. But they went away after seeing the details of the oath taken.
'Thank god they didn't look at me long enough' Silva thought as there was a sound of lightning and thunder in the distance.
The campers were shocked at the way Silva blatantly swore using Styx. But seeing that he was not harmed, they concluded that he was speaking the truth.
"Wait, does that mean you know who your parent is?" One of the kids from the Aphrodite cabin called out the next question.
"Yeah nunya" Silva replied. A few of the Hermes cabin members had their eyes widened as they realised what Silva was about to do. A few of the Athena cabin had surprised faces as well. But the other cabins had not reached the realisation.
"Wait what's Nunya?" Clarissa asked.
"Nunya business" Silva replied with a straight face and the joke hit the campers two seconds later.
The Hermes cabin members laughed out loud as they were waiting for it. The Athena kids tried to maintain composure, but it can be seen that they were trying to fight off a smirk coming into their face. most of the other campers including Clarisse who had the realisation of what happened began to blush in shame at realising that they were seriously thinking about a god named Nunya.
Silva was really lucky as the age of internet and memes had not reached its peak potential in this decade. He still has some time with all the traps he can use in wordplay.
But right now, his jokes did the trick as it decreased the hostility the camp members ad with each other. Plus, Silva was extremely satisfied with the look Luke had on his face at the end. He thought he was hiding it, but Silva was able to clearly see it.
"That was an excellent use of stick and carrot strategy. You managed to make them fear you as well as make them relieve their tension as well" Chiron who appeared suddenly commented with pride.
"It's the best to do right now" Silva replied.
