Madam Lim looked at her adopted daughter who had just taken her seat at the dining table and sighed.
"Mom, why is she here?", Lim Yun was starting to get annoyed seeing Lim Yueling looking nonchalant.
It had only happened yesterday yet a lot of people had been mocking him at school yesterday so much that he could not bear to stay there. Only for him to come home and see the person he did not want to see the most!
"Yun, watch your words! She has a name!", Madam Lim glared at her son with warning eyes.
Lim Yun gritted his teeth and clenched his fists yet he did not say another word.
Madam Yun finished serving the dishes and took her seat beside her husband.
The entire dinner was quiet and it almost felt as if nobody was there.
"Yueling, come with me to the living room", said Madam Lim.
The two settled down on the sofa facing each other.
"Mother...I know you know it's not true ", Lim Yueling said in calm voice.
"Yueling, you are right. I know you would never seduce your sister's husband however the matter has escalated beyond control. Our family's name is everywhere ", Madam Lim was truly troubled about the matter. It had only happened yesterday yet it was the talk of the entire Jin city.
"Mother...do you want to send me abroad?", Lim Yueling sneered.
Madam Lim sighed, she had indeed thought about sending this adopted daughter of hers abroad.
"I thought about that but that is not the best solution. I'm asking for your opinion on how to deal with the matter", said Madam Lim.
"You...", Lim Yueling could not believe her ears. Madam Lim was asking for her opinion? On such an important matter? How...how was that possible?
"If you really trust me", Lim Yueling looked at Madam Lim straight in the eye before continuing, "then leave it to me to solve. Give me three days and I promise you that I will reveal the truth "
Madam Lim nodded and the two spoke a few more before Lim Yueling left the house.
Lim Yun turned to his mother, "Mom, you have two biological children so why the f*ck is that adopted wench still here? She has brought nothing but shame into our house since she came here!"
Old Lim, the head of the family did not say a word. Even he did not like Lim Yueling however if he voiced out his thoughts he would not be able to share a bed with his wife for an entire year! He could not bear to go through that trauma once more.
"Yun, you know nothing which is why you speak in that manner. Next time you speak about your sister in that manner you will lose your allowance for a month!"
Meanwhile Lim Yueling made her way to a pub and handed her identification card to the security man.
The man looked at her and at the card once more before letting her in.
This was the first time he was seeing such a pretty woman in a nasty place like this. Was she probably a celebrity? Her appearance was so breathtaking and seductive that he even wanted to marry her!
Lim Yueling found a mask at the entrance and put it on before entering the pub. This was not her first time coming to a pub but this was the first time she was coming to this place.
Lim Yueling knew what problems her face could cause but what she did not know was that not even a mask could her her exquisite feature.
With the mask covering the half lower part of her face, only her seductive and alluring phoenix green eyes were exposed.
She immediately caught the attention of almost everyone in the room.
Standard in the limelight was a slim figure with a slightly curvy body dressed in a black dress and her long hair falling below her waist.
Her phoenix shapef green emerald eyes eyes were enchanting, alluring and filled with englance. It was like a powerful force charming and pulling everyone into its endless abyss.
"Who's that? So damn pretty!", said a man to the other.
"Her eyes are suck a killer! I feel like I'm gonna sink into them!"
"She has such a great figure. I'm going after her!"
Lim Yueling ignored the eyes of those watching her and found her way towards the counter and took her seat on the long stool.
"Pretty, what you want?", the bartender could not help but blush the moment his eyes met with Lim Yueling's.
"Two glasses of whiskey", Lim Yueling responded nonchalantly.
She found out she was an adopted daughter at the age of three in school. Back then someone tried to bully her and when she tried fighting back the little kid had told her that she was nothing but an adopted daughter. She had ignored again until her brother, Lim Yun said the same thing to her later on.
She did not ask her parents about it because she knew it was true. She had then understood why she looked totally different from the entire family. Ever since then, she stopped fighting back whenever someone tried to bully her because she did not want to tarnish the family name of the people who pitifully took an orphan like her into their home. That was until yesterday when her brother in law, who was a goat in heat tried to have his way with her and she fought back for the first time.
Before Lim Yueling knew it, she had already gulped down four glasses of whiskey and realised that she was drunk. She had met Cha Min nine years ago in school.
He had saved her from a bully and they later on became friends. She had never thought she would fall in love with him and four years ago they would become a couple.
"Miss? Can I join you?", a young man touched Lim Yueling's shoulder.
Lim Yueling pushed his hand away and staggered off to find the washroom. She did not dare to ask anyone for the direction cause they could take advantage of her.
Lim Yueling stumbled upon a room and heard the conversation between two people.
"Boss ordered us to take care of the prime minister before the day is over but this guy f*cked up!"
"Fortunately we killed him before he could rat us out!"
"Boss said to tell the prime minister his name before killing him"
"I heard the prime minister is related to Boss so why would Boss want to kill him?"
"That is none of our business! Let's just do our job!"
"The prime minister is upstairs so let's head out to him immediately!"
Prime minister was here? Then this place was definitely not as simple as it seemed.
Should she do something about it or just keep her mouth shut?
Lim Yueling turned around to leave when she heard a familiar and a powerful name.
Alexander Kim? That Alexander Kim? He was the one behind the murder? She was not shocked though.
Lim Yueling took a few footsteps to leave but froze in her footsteps when she stumbled upon a body covered in a pool of blood. Before she could say a word, she heard footsteps behind her and then fell unconscious.
"Boss, what shall we do with her?", one of the dozens men dressed in black asked the leader.
"Let's take her to big boss, he will decide whether to kill her or not!"

Lim Yueling woke up in a confused state. She felt completely weak and knew she had been drugged.
"She's awake. Take her to the big boss", said a man to the other.
Lim Yueling helplessly watched as two men came over and dragged her to God knows where.
"A...Alexander?", Lim Yueling felt her heartbeat racing like never before as she was forcefully made to kneel.
Alexander Kim scrutinised the tiny beauty kneeling before him.
"Who is she?", he turned to enquire from one of his men. Alexander's voice was so deep, alluring and icy that Lim Yueling's heart almost missed a beat but it did not.
"She's the adopted daughter of the Lim family "
"Lim family?", Alexander's eyebrows furrowed slightly, he had never heard of that family before, "An adopted daughter?", Alexander continued with the chuckle.
"What do you plan on doing with me? Don't kill me.", Lim Yueling glanced at the breathtaking face which could make thousands of hearts fall in love at first sight. In his almond shaped blue eyes she could see the evil intentions he had for her.
"Why?", Alexander sneered softly, his tiny lips curling up.
"Because I want to live", Lim Yueling responded. She had so many things to do so she couldn't just die.
Lim Yueling hands escaped under her black dress without anyone noticing. She immediately unlocked the phone with her fingerprint and managed to click on the emergency number.
In the entire seven continents of the world, Alexander Kim was said to be the most powerful figure.
Unfortunately for her, she was in his hands and she had of how merciless he could be.
Cha Min immediately answered the phone call but unfortunately for Lim Yueling she had tapped the loudspeaker button.
"Yueling?", Cha Min's charming voice was heard across the entire room.
"Search her!", the bodyguard standing beside Alexander ordered his other junior colleagues standing behind Lim Yueling.
They searched and found a tiny phone around Lim Yueling's thighs. They immediately destroyed the phone.
Lim Yueling looked up at Alexander and saw the hint of killing in his blue eyes.
"TEACH.HER.A.LESSON!", Alexander ordered in a heavy voice and then walked out.
"What are you going to do?", Lim Yueling was too weak to struggle when the men grabbed her and dragged her away.
Lim Yueling started to sweat profusely when she found herself in front of a chilling pool of water.
No! Not the water! They could do anything else to her but not the water!
The heartless men ignored the heart wrenching screams of Lim Yueling and threw her into the chilling pool.
Standing at the balcony of the last floor, Alexander Kim held a glass of red wine and his lips curled up into a devilish smile.
He always found joy in people's pain or misery and the sight before him was so breathtaking.
He watched the white skinned girl struggling with all her might in the chilling water. How dare she try to trick him?
He was going to kill her but she had to suffer first.
He just could not figure out why her blood scent was so high. He wished he could rush to her any moment now and suck her dry but he suppressed and controlled his desires.
"No...no...", Lim Yueling struggled for a few minutes before her body finally gave up. She just let herself sink as tears flowed down her cheeks.
Many years ago, when she was three years old her brother had intentionally pushed her into the ocean and she had struggled to breathe and panicked so much.
It was only after being saved by her elder sister and after going through therapy had she recovered a little bit from the trauma.
Even so she was still traumatised and stayed away from pools or from swimming activities.
This was the first time ever since that event that she was in so much water and her past memories were remembered.
"Save...m...me...please...not...not the water!", Lim Yueling's body sinked lower to the bottom and she lost consciousness.
