"Are you stalking me?", she asked. She was certain that running into this monster was definitely not a coincidence. He was certainly following her!
"Should I not be asking you that?", Alexander took a few steps towards her, his hand clenched into a fist. His enchanting blue eyes fell upon her face and gradually fell upon her gracefully thin neck.
"You...why on earth would I be stalking a monster like you?", Lim Yueling sneered. Did Alexander think she was out of her senses to be following him? She did not have a death wish alright?
A monster? That was a common word he heard everything.
Alexander frowned slightly when he suddenly realised something. He could hear or read anyone's thoughts so why couldn't he read hers?
Lim Yueling felt uncomfortable when she realised that Alexander's eyes were upon her neck and he seemed to be lost in thoughts.
Was he perhaps thinking of a way to kill her? She subconsciously placed her hands around her neck hoping that the elevator would arrive at the ground floor as soon as possible.
Alexander took another step forward and gently placed his hand around Lim Yueling's neck then lifting her chin up with his other hand, "Tell...who are you?", Alexander asked.
Lim Yueling slightly trembled when the extremely cold hands gently grabbed her neck. His hands were so cold one might think they had been frozen for decades!
She who had been forced to look at him was confused, "What...", Lim Yueling paused when she realised that he could easily kill her if she spoke trash, "What do you mean? I'm Lim Yueling, the woman you tried to kill yesterday. "
Alexander chuckled, his lips slightly curled up, "Oh...is that who you really are?", Alexander leaned closer to her, his nose touching her neck.
Lim Yueling felt her body trembling when his nose touched her neck. It somehow felt ticklish.
"Are you insane? What are you trying to do?", Lim Yueling managed to push him away, "I have a fiance! I'm engaged!"
The elevator door opened and she hurried to walk out.
Alexander grabbed her by the waist and pulled her to himself leaving a short distance between them, "Until we meet again, mademoiselle!", Alexander then walked out of the elevator leaving Lim Yueling completely confused.
Was Alexander insane? He had tried to kill her yesterday and today he was flirting with her? Did he think she was a fool? Hmph!
Lim Yueling walked out of the elevator and found her way towards the garden.
She loved coming to this garden whenever she came to this hospital. The sweet fragrance of the flowers helped her to forget about her pains and miseries for a moment.
"Miss beautiful ", a small bald boy in a hospital gown run towards Lim Yueling, "Have this!", he handed a small bunch of fresh flowers to her.
Lim Yueling was taken aback and bent down to him, "Did someone send you?", she smiled at him.
"No! I saw you from upstairs and wanted to be your future husband. I've never seen anyone as beautiful as you ", said the young boy as he blushed slightly.
"Really? That's sweet of you, how old are you?", Lim Yueling asked, trying to entertain the boy.
"I'm thirteen years old, soon to be fourteen in a few months. How old are you?", the little boy asked, his smile becoming broader. He had not expected Lim Yueling to be this nice to him because he thought he looked ugly being blad.
"I'm eighteen soon to be nineteen in a few months as well", Lim Yueling answered. Glancing at the boy's bald head she could guess what was wrong with him.
"My hair is going to grow back after I'm done with my surgery today! You won't have to marry a bald man!", said the boy after he realised Lim Yueling was looking at his bald head.
Lim Yueling found it amusing how the little boy spoke, "You're having a surgery today? Then why are you here?"
"That's because your beauty attracted me and I felt I had already been healed", said the little boy.
A few bodyguards run towards Lim Yueling and the little boy whiles panting for breath.
"Young master, what are you doing here? It's almost time for the surgery!", Said one of the bodyguards.
"So what? Can't you see I'm talking to my future wife?", The little boy glared at his bodyguards.
"What?", the bodyguards looked at Lim Yueling and then at their young master in disbelief. They did not know that their young master was into older women.
"Little boy...as the popular saying goes 'the first wealth is death'. Please return with your bodyguards ", Lim Yueling stood up.
"Miss", one of the bodyguards turned to Lim Yueling.
"Yes?", Lim Yueling responded, wondering what he was going to say.
"The saying is 'the first wealth is health' not what you said!", the bodyguard corrected her.
"You...", Lim Yueling was so embarrassed that her entire face turned red. Whenever it came to quotes she was always wrong. Sometimes she wondered if she had been worthy of having the first position in the national college entrance examination.
In the parking lot, Alexander stepped on the accelerator and the catchy red porsche drove out with extremely speed.
"You're here", Lim Yueling turned to Cha Min whom she had not expected to return so quickly.
"It's cold", Cha Min wrapped a pink woven shawl around her neck, "You should not have come out wearing just that", he reprimanded.
Glancing at Lim Yueling, he could not help but admit that she looked extremely thin wearing the hospital gown.
"Let's go back, you look pale", he said and held her hand.
"Min'Ah...please don't tell the Lim family about this", Lim Yueling pleaded.
Cha Min nodded and the two took to the elevator to their floor.
Cha Min had personally prepared soup for Lim Yueling and served it for her after they got back.
Standing at the window, he looked at Lim Yueling and knew that she was hiding a lot of things from him. Even though she did not tell him, sometimes he could see the pain and misery in her emerald eyes.
Things she was not yet ready to share with him but anyways he was going to wait. He just had to give her a little more time and she would open up to him. He believed she would.
