"You slept over at a friend's place? I checked every friend of yours house but you were not there!", said Cha Min. The explanation Lim Yueling was giving him was not making sense to him.
"Yeah, you do not know her", said Lim Yueling. She definitely could not tell Cha Min anything about the previous night's event. Knowing Cha Min, he was definitely not going to sit back if she told him, she was certain he would confront Alexander.
No matter how powerful he was, Alexander was like a thousand times powerful than him so she was not going to have him risk his life.
That Alexander was simply too dangerous so it would be better to stay out of his way.
"Fine, if you say so", Cha Min sighed and pulled her into his embrace. Yesterday he had been so scared thinking he might have lost her or that she was in extreme danger.
"You're cold", Cha Min frowned when he realised how cold she was after he embraced her. He lifted his hand to check her temperature on her forehead and realised she was running a fever.
"You have a fever! You're sick!", Cha Min glanced at Lim Yueling. He suddenly had the feeling that she was hiding something from him, "Let's go to the hospital!"
Cha Min grabbed his car keys ready to leave but Lim Yueling stopped him nervously.
"No!", Lim Yueling immediately grabbed the keys from him. If she went to the hospital they would eventually find out what had happened to her.
"You...", Cha Min was speechless and glanced down at Lim Yueling who seemed nervous and very suspicious.
Exactly why did Lim Yueling not want to go to the hospital? Why was she acting so suspicious? What was she trying to hide from him?
No way! He had never touched her so there was no way she could be pregnant!
"We will go to the hospital whether you like it or not!", Cha Min grabbed the car keys from Lim Yueling and lifted her into his arms as he made his way out of his apartment.
Lim Yueling struggled in Cha Min's hands but he was too strong for her. He forced her into the car, fixed her seat belts and stepped on the accelerator, heading towards the hospital.
He could not help but wonder once more exactly what Lim Yueling was so scared of that she did not want to go to the hospital.
Could it be that she had a terminal illness she was hiding from someone. He recently noticed that she seemed to have lost so much weight.
Lim Yueling had never experienced this side of Cha Min. He was always calm, caring and dotting. He had never forced her to do anything she did not want to but today, he had broken that record.
Cha Min's eyes fell upon his girlfriend who had cutely tightened those tiny pink lips of hers and seemed angry.
"Yueling...", he held her hand with his free hand, "You should not be angry, I'm doing this for your sake"
Looking closely at her, he could tell how pale her skin was. It was definitely the right decision to bring her to the hospital even though she was angry.
Lim Yueling removed her hand from Cha Min's grasp and turned to the window to look outside.
Cha Min sighed helplessly and did not force her to talk to him.
After about thirty minutes, they arrived at Jin Capital First Class hospital.
The largest, most expensive and properly equipped hospital in the country. Foreigners from all over the world came there for their medical needs.
Cha Min managed to hold Lim Yueling's hands after a few minutes of resistance from her.
Most of the doctors, nurses and other medical practitioners immediately recognised Cha Min.
"Young master", they all greeted politely when they encountered him.
Cha Min's family, the Cha family was part of the third tier of powerful and wealthy families in the country.
There were five tiers and each tier consisted of four powerful families. To be a part of any of these top five tiers was considered a very great privilege and demanded a high amount of respect from the highest level of authority to the lowest level of authority.
Lim Yueling's family, the Lim family was nowhere near the top five tiers of powerful families which was why a lot of young ladies envied her for having Cha Min as her fiance.
Before, Lim Yueling knew it, she was already trending on social media for visiting a hospital with her fiance.
Cha Min and Lim Yueling were offered one of the best wards in the hospital.
"Young master, we will have to take a series of tests to know exactly what is wrong with Miss Lim", said the attending doctor.
Knowing how scared his fiance was of needles, Cha Min suddenly felt helpless once more.
"Miss Lim, please make a fist so I can take a sample of your blood", said the doctor. He could not help but admire the dashing beauty before him, if only they were age mates he would have asked her out.
Lim Yueling looked at Cha Min and then looked back at the doctor, pouted and said, "I do not know how to make a fist"
"What?!", the doctor almost screamed, wondering if he had heard her right.
"I said I don't know how to make a fist!", Lim Yueling repeated once more.
The doctor looked at Cha Min who had the look of 'we are thinking the same thing '
Even a baby born today could make a fist so the doctor could not believe why this lady would blatantly lie.
"Are you scared of the needle?", the doctor asked without much thought. That was the only explanation he could give for her excuse.
"How does me not knowing how to make a fist have anything to do with being afraid of needles?", Lim Yueling almost sneered.
She then looked at Cha Min with a triumphant smile.
'Heh! Come on and make the fist for me'
After almost thirty minutes the doctor had still managed to get the blood sample.
"Min'Ah...I think we should leave. I told this doctor that I cannot make a fist so he should just take my blood but he insists on me making the fist. He even said I'm dumb! Is it a sin to be born dumb?", Lim Yueling lowered her head and pretended to be wiping her tears.
The poor doctor felt he had been wrongfully framed. When had he called this young lady dumb?
"Young master, I never said she was dumb!", the doctor defended himself.
"Then are you saying I'm a liar?", Lim Yueling started to sniff as if she was crying but her lips were slowly curling into a smile.
Cha Min had had enough. He walked over prepared to do anything it took to have her blood sample taken when Lim Yueling fainted into his hands.
He and the doctor thought she was tricking them until they realised she had stopped breathing.
"She's not breathing!", Cha Min panicked and immediately carried her onto the hospital bed.
