'What?' Aster whispered in bewilderment.
'All I did was flash her a smile and both their happiness levels increased?'
'Oh my goodness, this is too much.'
'I love it.'
'Can I see my new trait, please?'
Although Aster was surprised by what was being displayed in front of him, he was still a bit worried and confused by everything that had happened since he woke up.
However, at that moment, the feeling of excitement and anticipation rising within him had completely overshadowed his worries and concerns.
He couldn't wait to see what the system was about to reward him with.
So, he watched intently as a new screen popped up in front of him.

'Come to think of it, I am getting pretty hungry right now. I guess the trait is already kicking in.' Aster jokingly uttered in his thoughts as he stared down at his tummy which suddenly developed an incessant hunger he didn't know he had, until a few seconds ago.
But Aster decided not to think too much about it, so he directed his attention to the second reward he had obtained.
'Hm, +2 attribute points have been added to all my existing attributes.'
'Well, I wonder what my current stat looks like now.'
'I believe that in the novels I read in the past, the characters would say something like 'Status' and their attributes would be displayed in front of them.' Aster thought to himself, and as if the system took his musings as a command, it suddenly showed a pop-up question to confirm his request.
[Would you like to take a look at your status?]
'Oh, this is nice.'
'Yes, please.'
[Response acknowledged.]
The system acknowledged his response and a new screen appeared before him, displaying his profile along with his current attributes.

Looking at the screen displayed before him, Aster's eyes were drawn to the part labeled combat path and magical affinity.
He didn't have any combat experience so he wasn't surprised to see what the system had written in front of it.
However, his lips couldn't help but widen into a grin when he realized that his body would have the capability to use magic in the future, and this strengthened his belief that magic definitely existed in his new supernatural world.
Aster then dragged his gaze down to his current attributes.
Seeing how low and weak they were, Aster could only release a heavy sigh as he tried not to think too much about it.
With the system by his side, he knew that it would only be a matter of time before his strength and other attributes increased beyond his wildest imagination, so, for now, Aster decided to focus on the present.
But unbeknownst to him, he was slowly getting rid of the worrying thought of being in a supernatural world, and he was now anticipating the exciting life and possibilities that lay ahead in this new world.
Meanwhile, the system's screen slowly vanished before his eyes and Aster was finally able to pay attention to his surroundings after stepping into the castle with Vivian and Lily.
Aster couldn't help but be amazed by the castle's interior which had beautiful marbled floors with a nice crimson-colored chandelier glowing from the ceiling.
He walked past long glass windows in the hallway which allowed the rays of sunlight to shine through and brighten up the hallway, but Aster's eyes widened in surprise when he caught sight of his reflection in one of the windows.
'Wow, I have red hair?'
'Oh, I guess I shouldn't be surprised since the dragon queen and Lily have a similar hair color.'
Apart from having similar hair, he noticed how he didn't have a cool horn or pointy ears like Vivian.
'Maybe I'll unlock similar traits like that in the future.'
Pushing these thoughts aside, Aster lifted his gaze and noticed the room at the far end of the hallway.
Even before he arrived in front of the room, his nose could already perceive the pleasant and inviting aroma of different medleys of foods and it seemed that Lily could perceive it as well because she instantly skipped ahead to have a better look at what had been prepared for them.
Lily's cute, fuzzy tail wagged excitedly as she hurried over to the dining hall, and Vivian couldn't help but giggle as she watched how adorably the little girl rushed over to see what she would be eating.
Meanwhile, Aster and Vivian followed right after, and the first thing Aster noticed was the large table at the center of the room, which seemed like it had enough space for two hundred people to eat comfortably.
But then he noticed the steam rising from different silver platters as the air was filled with the aroma of various delicacies that made Lily's stomach growl loudly.
This brought a smile to Vivian and Aster's faces and the little girl buried her red face in her palms due to the embarrassment.
