Chapter 11 - 11. A Thrilling Pillow Fight.

"That's it, Your Majesty. If it's war you want, then it's war you'll get!" Hallie declared as she yanked the medium-sized pillow out of her face.

Then she glanced over at Sara and Cara who immediately nodded in response.

It almost felt like they had communicated with the exchange of a single glance, and it seemed like it had been enough for them to strategize a plan within seconds.

Each of them took their battle positions with Hallie directly facing her Queen and Cara providing her with support while Sara, the stunning banshee maid, had set her eyes on only one person… her handsome dragon prince.

Since Vivian had recently launched a sneak attack on Aster, this gave Sara enough time to gather the perfect number of pillows to aim at him before he could even think of launching a counterattack.

With that, the final showdown began with Hallie swiftly hurling successive pillow attacks at the dragon queen.

It was completely impossible for one person to win against the dragon queen, which was why Hallie and Cara had decided to join forces. That way, they would have a higher chance of victory.

Cara's role was to continuously provide Hallie with more pillows each time she launched an attack on Vivian.

However, from Vivian's point of view, it seemed that Hallie and Cara were only targeting her because Lily was too young.

Her small arms were too short to launch a successful attack of her own due to the distance between her and her opponents.

But, in reality, Cara was simply waiting for the right time to carry out her swift, projectile attack, which would definitely turn the battle in their favor.

If everything went according to plan, Hallie and Cara knew that Vivian would be shocked by their surprise attack, and that would give Hallie the perfect time to land a hit on Vivian, allowing them to win the second round of the pillow war.

As for Aster, Hallie and Cara didn't really bother about him.

After all, Sara was currently his opponent and they were confident that Sara was more than enough to handle their dragon prince.

"Hehehe… this is fun." Lily giggled with delight, as she assisted her Mama by providing her with more ammo.

Watching how Vivian easily matched Hallie's quick, successive attacks was simply amazing to the little girl.

Vivian's attacks were so fast and the dragon queen was still able to counter each of Hallie's powerful pillow attacks with her own.

There was even a moment when Lily noticed a rocket-like pillow heading straight for her face but just before the pillow could make contact, another pillow swiftly knocked it away, shocking the little girl in the process.

'COOL!!!'

'That was awesome.' Lily turned to her left and saw Vivian smiling before giving her a wink then she returned her attention to Hallie and Cara.

'Mama is the best!'

'I love her!!' Lily squealed inwardly as she continued to assist Vivian by providing her with more pillow ammunition.

And with that, the battle continued with feathers flying all over the room.

The once clean and pristine room was nowhere to be found with more pillows and feathers flying everywhere as the intense battle raged on.

Meanwhile, Aster was still lying on the soft cushion of pillows while staring up at the ceiling.

He knew that if he were to sit upright now, Vivian would definitely aim for his face again.

'She's done that twice already.'

'And I can't let her do it a third time.'

'I have to think of something quick if I want to win against her.'

'But shouldn't we be on the same team?'

'That way it would be three against three.'

'I don't know why she keeps attacking me every time I sit up when we can simply work together.'

*Sighs*

'Anyway, it doesn't matter.' A smile appeared on Aster's face as he rolled to the right, with his mind set on carrying out his next course of action.

'If my beautiful mother doesn't want to play a fair game, then two can play that way.'

'My mind is made up.'

'I'm going solo.'

'I'm definitely going to attack her from her blind spot.'

'But I have to be fast about it cause I don't think someone as powerful as her even has a blind spot.'

'Alright, here goes nothing.' Aster took his aim at Vivian's back while holding two small pillows in his hand.

He lifted one of his hands and was about to launch his first attack, when he suddenly felt a chilling sensation creeping up on his spine.

He turned to the left in slow motion and noticed Sara hovering towards him with a huge smile on her face; her eyes were practically gleaming like those of a yandere character.

"You're mine, Your Highness. I won't let you out of my sight."

"Eii!!!" Aster shrieked and froze in place when he noticed the things hovering behind Sara.

Twenty pillows of various shapes and sizes hovered behind the beautiful banshee, and each one of them was hurled straight at him.

Aster swiftly dodged ten of the pillows while the remaining ones were swiftly countered by Vivian's attack.

"Huh?" Sara paused, astonished to see Vivian suddenly protect Aster.

Wasn't Vivian supposed to be preoccupied with Hallie and Cara?

Sara swiftly turned her gaze toward her sister and Hallie, but to her surprise, both of them had been utterly defeated by Vivian. "Shit." Sara cussed but her attention was swiftly drawn to a cute little girl who was charging towards her.

"Ahh!!!" Lily charged forward to protect her big brother.

Then she launched the small pillow in her hand, but since her aim could barely go far, Vivian flicked her hand and a huge gust of wind propelled Lily's attack, allowing the little girl to have her first shot successfully hit her target.

"Ugh…" The pillow landed straight on Sara's face and the phantom banshee collapsed on the cushion of pillows behind her while Lily happily yelled out in victory.

"I did it, Mama!! I protected my big brother."

Vivian giggled and nodded in response before noticing a certain prince sneaking from behind to launch a counterattack on the little princess who had just protected him.

"Lily, behind you!!" Vivian happily shouted and Lily turned around to see a small pillow heading straight for her face.

Although Vivian was able to protect Lily just in time, it ultimately allowed Aster to swiftly launch a second attack on the dragon queen, who had actually been his primary target.

Luckily for him, his attack made contact with the Queen's face before bouncing off her soft, marvellous mountain peaks and landing on the floor, causing a scary smile to swiftly appear on Vivian's face.

"Lily?" Vivian called out.

"Hmm? Yes, mama?"

"It's payback time, my little dragon. Let's show no mercy to your big brother."

She said in a scary tone but Lily could sense the playfulness behind it.

"Hehehe, no mercy!!!!" The little girl giggled as she hurriedly grabbed more pillows.

Lily couldn't believe that her big brother had almost betrayed her, especially when she had just saved him.

Well, thinking about it more clearly now, he had definitely betrayed her and that made him a traitor.

Therefore, he must definitely be dealt with.

"Charge!!!" Vivian yelled out and both ladies charged forward with a huge pile of pillows hovering above their heads.

"Oh fuck." Aster unwittingly dropped the pillow he was holding when he noticed the mountain of pillows hovering in front of him.

Seeing this, he immediately knew there was no way he could ever escape from them.

And so, he could only watch as the pillows rained down on him with precise and pinpoint accuracy, causing Lily and Vivian to smile and giggle as they happily leaped towards him and pinned him down so they could comfortably hit him with even more pillows as their laughter and giggles echoed loudly in the room.
