Chapter 6 - Wu Haoran

Wu Yang took a deep breath and steeled his heart. Then he asked, "Master, what kind of cultivation method will you teach me?"

Su Ling replied in an energetic voice, "It is the Dragon-Phoenix Convergence—a Dual Cultivation method that combines Yin and Yang to form a perfect circle. You can absorb Yin Essence into your body and improve your own Yang Essence, while giving Yang Essence to others and helping them refine their Yin Essence."

Wu Yang was quite pleased to hear that and asked, "I guess it's not some weak cultivation method that only helps one cultivator, right?"

"Hah. Don't lump this cultivation method with those pitiful methods that just suck one side dry. It's called Dual Cultivation because it benefits both sides at the same time. The ones you're talking about are parasitic methods used by unscrupulous men or women," Su Ling rebuked him in a matter-of-fact tone.

She had great disdain for such methods. They were despicable and vile acts that went against the natural way of cultivation.

And the perpetrators didn't even gain true benefits from them. Their cultivation would become unstable, affecting both body and soul.

Such a cultivation method was worthless. Su Ling wouldn't even deem it worth looking at.

Wu Yang felt a weight lift off his shoulders. At least this way, the women he cultivated with would also benefit from it. This was somewhat comforting, considering what he was about to ask his mother to do.

"Furthermore, since you have a dormant special constitution," Su Ling continued, "cultivating this method will not only recover your vitality and cultivation but will also awaken your constitution and enhance your own talents to their absolute limits."

Wu Yang couldn't hide his excitement, his voice rising slightly. "What constitution? What does it do?"

"That's for you to find out when you awaken it," Su Ling teased. "But I'll give you a small hint—it's a constitution that any man would want to possess."

Her words only fueled Wu Yang's curiosity and desire. A constitution any man would want... his mind raced with possibilities.

"For now, let's focus on teaching you the Dragon-Phoenix Convergence. Listen closely..." Su Ling said, her tone becoming more serious.

She didn't waste time and got straight to the essential parts. First, she explained to Wu Yang the pathways that would be used. After that, she taught him about the flow of spirit essence and how the pathways should be controlled so that the spirit essence could be sent to various parts of his body.

Then she guided him on how he should channel his spirit essence into his partner and how to circulate their combined spirit essence between them. This process was not easy to learn. It required intense concentration and a deep understanding of the complex circulation of spirit essence.

If there was any mistake during the flow, both sides might suffer backlash. That was why Su Ling drilled this part into his mind with extra care.

Meanwhile, after Bai Yue gave a bath to Wu Yang, she went back to her room to rest a bit. Her expression was not good, and she was troubled.

The moment she reached her room, Bai Yue walked around in circles. She couldn't calm her thoughts. Her mind kept replaying the incident in Wu Yang's room earlier.

She kept remembering how her son's big, thick dragon was erect and throbbing before her face. Her heart beat like crazy, and she felt her face burning just thinking of it.

Bai Yue sighed. She could not imagine having such thoughts, especially towards her own son. "What is wrong with me... I'm a mother... he is my own flesh and blood..." she whispered to herself.

Yet, no matter how she tried to suppress the indecent thoughts and feelings, they still lingered in her mind. She just couldn't bring herself to ignore them.

"To think Wu Yang would have thoughts like that... about me of all people..." Bai Yue mumbled, her face growing darker. "It must be because he has been alone for so long, confined to his bed... so it can't be helped."

Just then, a voice called out from beside her, "Yue'er, is something wrong?"

Bai Yue turned around to see her husband, Wu Haoran, staring at her with a worried expression.

He was a tall man with a muscular body dressed in a black robe. His long white hair was tied into a bun, and his square jaw was the picture of a handsome man in his prime.

His stern face and imposing figure commanded respect from anyone who looked at him. It was a trait that served him well as the head of the Wu Clan.

Yet despite his intimidating appearance, there was a gentleness in his eyes when he gazed upon Bai Yue. Those dark orbs held a warmth reserved only for his wife and son, as though they were treasures that he cherished dearly.

It seemed he had come in and noticed her walking back and forth, all anxious and lost in her thoughts.

"My dear, there's nothing to worry about. I was just thinking about our son," Bai Yue replied with a gentle smile.

She approached her husband and rested her head against his firm chest. She enjoyed the warm embrace from his strong arms wrapping around her shoulders. It felt so safe and comfortable.

Wu Haoran, noticing his wife's uneasy mood, hugged her close. He knew that the matter concerning their son, Wu Yang, affected her greatly.

The same was true for him as well. In fact, the more he thought about the matter, the more concerned he became. After all, their son was a rare talent. He was destined to have a bright future ahead of him. And seeing such a young genius lie immobile in a bed, wasting his life away, was really hard to watch.

"Don't worry too much, Yue'er," Wu Haoran comforted her. "I have heard about a rare pill that will be auctioned in a few days in Black Wind City. I plan to leave right now to see if I can get it. Perhaps it will help our son heal."

Bai Yue was pleasantly surprised at hearing this. Her mood lifted, and she felt much better than before. She gave Wu Haoran a loving smile and said, "That's great, my dear! Please try your best! I don't want to see our son suffer like this anymore. He deserves better..."

Wu Haoran nodded, then planted a soft kiss on Bai Yue's forehead and left without wasting another moment.
