Chapter 5 - Jealous Already, My Disciple?

Wu Yang groaned, shaking his head at the sudden and confusing disappearance of Su Ling. His mind was still reeling from the overwhelming experience he had just experienced.

It had been a wild roller coaster of emotions, one he was still struggling to process. After feeling intense pleasure like that, it was as if time had stopped for Wu Yang. He wanted nothing more than to lie there and enjoy the afterglow of the moment.

Yet despite the hazy sensation clouding his mind and the pleasant warmth that still lingered within, a feeling of loss and loneliness gripped him, as though something—or someone—important had just slipped through his fingers.

"Master... Master Su Ling... are you really there... inside of me?" He whispered into thin air, hoping to hear her answer.

At that moment, a voice replied, "Why, of course I am. I told you, didn't I? I'm always inside you, inside that pagoda."

Wu Yang smiled and nodded in relief. It seemed Su Ling still remained, in one form or another.

"However... if you want to feel me like just now, you'll need to gather enough essence to sustain my soul and strengthen my soul consciousness to manifest again," Su Ling added with a playful tone.

Wu Yang heard the words, and as he was still feeling the aftereffects of his orgasm, it made him realize just what they had done.

"Wait. Master, was it right for me, your disciple, to receive the pleasure you gave me? It feels as if we have defiled the master-disciple relationship..."

"Silly disciple. Don't you think you're a little too late for such thoughts?" Su Ling rebuked with a tinge of annoyance. "The deed has been done. It's not like you can reverse time and make it undone."

"But that was..."

"That was? What? Do you think I'm like those 'pure and virtuous cultivators'? No." Su Ling let out a hmph. Her voice held a hint of sarcasm. "Let me tell you something, my disciple. I'm not a human. I'm a fox spirit. A fox spirit that uses charm and seduction as weapons. Do you understand?"

Wu Yang was speechless at this revelation. No wonder she had such a bewitching aura about her. No wonder her voice was so enticing. No wonder...

"Wait... Does that mean you did more with other men before? Like...?" Wu Yang couldn't help but ask, a strange sense of possessiveness rising within him.

Su Ling fell silent for a moment, which made Wu Yang feel a sting of regret that his master wasn't a pure woman. Though he didn't have any real right to feel that way, he couldn't help but feel it.

"Jealous already, my disciple?" Su Ling teased. Her voice was low and husky. She sounded... pleased? "Though you don't have any reason to be jealous. You're the first man I've ever touched in my life. And... you will be the only one."

Wu Yang's heart fluttered at those words. He couldn't explain why, but her words made him feel... special. His loneliness seemed to dissipate, being replaced by a newfound warmth spreading through his chest.

"Why? Why only me?" Wu Yang asked in a whisper. He was both curious and eager to hear her answer.

"Because you have a unique constitution that's compatible with me, of course," Su Ling answered as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "Also, because I find you interesting. I've seen many men in my long life. But none of them caught my attention quite like you."

Before Wu Yang could say another word, Su Ling added in a stern voice, "But that doesn't mean you can get any weird ideas. I am your master, and you are my disciple. This is a fact that will never change. If you want to become my man, then you must first become strong enough to stand by my side."

"Stand by your side... I understand," Wu Yang replied with determination.

He had always desired to stand at the pinnacle of the world. Now he had a new motivation—to become strong enough to match his bewitching master.

"Good. Since we have established our relationship, it's time to discuss the specifics of your recovery," Su Ling stated in a matter-of-fact tone. "You need to dual cultivate. The process is simple, really. You absorb Yin Essence from women, and in turn, you recover your vitality."

"But there's a small catch," Su Ling continued, her voice turning sly again. "You can't just go and sleep with any random woman. You need one of the two types of Yin Essence: Pure Yin Essence or Yin Essence of someone of your same bloodline. The first type requires you to cultivate with a virgin girl with a high cultivation base. And the second type requires a direct blood relative—and they also must have a high cultivation base."

Wu Yang was stunned by her words. Dual cultivation with a virgin girl with high cultivation was already difficult enough. But a direct blood relative?

"Master, are you joking? Do you really think this is something we can achieve easily? Who would be willing to offer their Pure Yin Essence if I explained to them such an objective? Let alone blood relatives. There has to be another way!"

Su Ling scoffed with an arrogant tone, "Tsk, tsk, Wu Yang... what do you expect to do, stay bedridden? Do you even have any options in this matter?"

"But, the requirements..." Wu Yang replied helplessly.

"Are nothing to me," Su Ling cut him off with confidence. "If you wish to recover your condition, your body, and your cultivation, then you need Pure Yin Essence or Yin Essence of the same bloodline. Are you telling me you want to stay like this forever, barely able to move a muscle and relying on others to stay alive? Is that the kind of person you are?"

Wu Yang fell silent again. As Su Ling said, he didn't have many options. Either way, he couldn't recover on his own. Only by cultivating dual cultivation could he heal his body and return to his original state.

It was just difficult and tricky. Because there doesn't seem to be any girl around who meets the requirements.

Then, there was only one option—the Yin Essence of one of his direct blood relatives. Which also seemed impossible to obtain. How could he possibly ask his mother to do such a thing with him?

However, Su Ling didn't seem to agree with that notion. "Silly disciple, why do you think it's difficult? You have your mother, who is always caring for you and loves you. She would never refuse, knowing that it will cure you. Just put in a bit of effort and show her you need her—that's all it takes."

Wu Yang almost choked on his own saliva as he heard those words. He hadn't considered that possibility! And that was true. His mother, Bai Yue, was someone who had always cared for him deeply. So it wasn't impossible for her to be willing to help him this way.

"I guess that's all I can do right now." Wu Yang sighed in resignation. "Even if I get refused, there's nothing lost in asking. I will just have to take the blame for asking such a thing of my own mother."
