Leo called Harry out for a drink at the Marco club.
Harry is his assistant, most trusted confidant and friend. They grew up together with Elena and has been friends since childhood.
"Leo...you've had enough" Harry said trying to grab the glass of wine from his hand but Leo pushed his hand away
Harry was shocked to see Leo behaving like this. This is the first time he's seen him so infatuated with a woman. He must truly love Ellie he thought.
Having grew up with Leo, he knows everything he has tried to endure over the years especially with the death of his mother and he truly wished that he can find happiness.
"I don't understand Harry, I gave her everything...why would she do this to me?" Leo said and gulped down the wine in the glass...."You know after my mum died, I stopped believing in love, I thought I had no heart to love someone but now I finally opened my heart to her and she left...just like that..." he said with a pained expression on his face.
Elena saw Leo drinking himself out. She asked Harry what happened and the latter said that Ellie left him and he is going through a heartbreak.
"Let me sit with him for some time" she said. Harry stood up to pave way for her.
Since she knew Leo since they were kids, this is the first time she is seeing him so emotional after that incident that happened 15 years ago.
"Leo must really love Ellie", she thought. Jealousy burned in her heart. "Why did he have to choose Ellie...? She has been with him since they were kids... Why can't he see her true feelings?"
"Leo I've loved you since we were kids and you haven't even looked at me once and here you are drinking yourself out for a girl you just met" Elena sighed inwardly
She sat with Leo and told him that the best way to get back at Ellie is to pretend he has moved on and make her jealous. She then told him that she is willing to act the part with him if he agrees
Leo thought that with everything happening now, this would be a perfect distraction and something in him wants to see Ellie's jealous face, he wants her to regret leaving him.
He accepted Elena's proposal.
Elena was thrilled with his acceptance and thought "I'm going to make you fall in love with me for real Leo...you will find out soon that I'm the best choice for you.
Leo stood up ready to leave "Leo let me take you home, you are drunk" Elena offered
"No...I'm fine" Leo called out to Harry who was having a good chat with one of the pretty dancers, Chloe.
Chloe was young, beautiful and vibrant and Harry finds himself attracted to her. He was still talking to her and getting to know her when Leo called him.
"Ok...Chloe, catch ya some other time"
"Ok...some other time then" Chloe responded flashing him a sweet smile.
