Chapter 7 - "Arrival at Syrup Village."

Sailing across the sea could be pretty dull sometimes.

Luckily for Logan, he had Nami and Makino to keep him company.

Every day, he'd trade a few jabs with Nami, teasing her until she stomped around in frustration.

Other times, he'd flirt a little with the easily flustered Makino, then walk away with a satisfied grin.

Those little daily moments made the long voyage surprisingly fun.

Of course, the best part was still talking with the two of them about navigation and sailing techniques.

Once Nami and Makino got comfortable with each other, Logan started splitting his attention between them—"sharing the blessings," as he put it.

A few times, he even got so caught up that the ship drifted off course, losing hours on the journey.

"Keep it up, Logan! At this pace, we'll reach Syrup Village by tomorrow," Nami said lazily from under a sunshade, sipping her juice. "You'll finally get to meet that beautiful ship doctor you keep talking about."

After spending so much time together, Nami had grown curious.

How the hell did Logan always know where the pretty girls were?

And more importantly—how did he even know their names?

Whether it was Makino from Windmill Village or Kaya from Syrup Village, he always spoke like he knew them personally.

When she asked, Logan's answer was total nonsense.

"Natural instinct for beautiful women," he'd say with a straight face.

An instinct that worked across distance, apparently.

Yeah, right.

Seeing him dodge the question, Nami could only drop it with a sigh.

Makino came out of the cabin, a towel in hand, and gently wiped the sweat from Logan's forehead.

"Ahh, my Makino always knows what I need."

Without even looking away from the sea, Logan leaned over and planted a quick kiss on her cheek.

Her face instantly turned bright red.

"I'll go make lunch. Anything you want in particular?" she asked softly.

"As long as you're cooking, I'll love it," Logan said sincerely.

That just made her blush harder.

It was a perfectly normal question—so why did it sound like flirting?

"What about you, Nami?" Makino asked.

"Whatever's fine," Nami replied with a casual wave.

Makino nodded and went to the galley.

Once she was gone, Logan focused on steering the ship again.

When he wasn't teasing the girls, he was practicing his newest ability—Teleportation.

Whenever they passed by a deserted island, Logan would hand the wheel over to Nami and teleport away to explore.

All he had to do was think, and in the blink of an eye, he'd appear on the island he'd sensed.

It was way faster than any technique like "Soru."

And to his surprise, he realized he could bring others with him—at least within a certain weight limit.

Two girls? No problem.A pirate ship? Not a chance.

He even tried leaving a spatial marker on one island. After sailing far away, he teleported back instantly just by focusing on the mark.

After several experiments, Logan reached a thrilling conclusion—he was now the fastest man in the world.

As fast as his thoughts could go, that's how fast he could move.

Paired with his healing fruit, he was practically untouchable.

Thinking about the future made him speed up even more.

Syrup Village sat tucked away in a quiet corner of the East Blue.

Since there wasn't anything of real value nearby, pirates rarely bothered coming here.

That morning, as the first rays of sunlight stretched over the sea—

"Looks like another beautiful day," said Usopp, stretching lazily. He wore a brown tank top, his trademark long nose pointed up toward the sky.

"So, which pirate crew should I warn the village about today?"

After a moment's thought, he grinned mischievously.

Soon enough, the entire village echoed with his familiar voice.

"Bad news! The Silver Wolf Pirates are attacking! This time it's real!"

"They're coming for us! Everyone, wake up!"

"If you don't run now, it'll be too late!"

His voice carried from one end of the village to the other. Every household heard it loud and clear.

"That damn kid! Can't he go one day without this nonsense?"

"Seriously! He does this every single morning!"

"Usopp, you little brat!"

Villagers jolted awake, cursing under their breath. But the comfort of their warm beds won over their irritation, so most just buried their heads back under the blankets.

Only a few families near the edge of the village stepped outside to "greet" Usopp—with very colorful language.

After about ten minutes of shouting back and forth, things finally quieted down.

Usopp laughed proudly to himself, but the smile soon faded.

He turned his eyes toward the distant ocean, and a trace of longing crossed his face.

If only real pirates would show up.

Then he could save everyone and finally be recognized as the hero he always dreamed of being.

As he imagined that glorious moment, his eyes drifted toward the sea—and froze.

A small ship was heading straight for Syrup Village.

"A pirate ship?!"

Usopp's eyes lit up.

With his sharp eyesight, he could clearly see a man and two women chatting and laughing on deck.

That was it—no crew, no flag, no cannons.

He frowned, a bit disappointed.

It looked like a pirate ship, sure, but the people on it didn't seem like pirates at all.

Still, he made his way down to the shore to greet them.

Not because he wanted to show off or anything, of course. Definitely not that.

Just being friendly, that's all.

From the ship's bow, Logan spotted him right away.

Usopp—the Straw Hat crew's future sniper.

There was a saying in the pirate world:

"When the wind's good, trust Luffy. When the wind's bad, trust Zoro. When there's no hope left—trust Usopp."

But Logan wasn't particularly interested in him.

After docking the ship, he and the girls disembarked and stepped onto the island.

The adventure in Syrup Village was about to begin.
