Chapter 6 - "Teleportation and the Female Crew Policy."

-----

-----

"You're such a jerk—always picking on girls."

At the helm, Nami muttered under her breath, lips pouting as her eyes kept darting toward the cabin.

Ever since they left Windmill Village, the very first thing Logan did was drag Makino into his room.

Naturally, the job of steering the ship fell to Nami.

She was a navigator, damn it—not a helmsman!

Was there no justice left in this world?!

By now, she'd cursed Logan in her head at least a hundred times.

Sure, he was having a great time.

He said it was "for teaching Makino the basics of navigation," because she was new to ship life and needed some lessons.

Sweet, innocent Makino had believed him—she'd even brought a notebook to take notes.

Four hours later, she'd learned absolutely nothing about sailing.

"Ugh, that scumbag! Can't he show a little pity for women?!"

—Inside the room—

[Congratulations, Host, on successfully recruiting crew member Makino. Reward available. Claim now?]

The system's familiar voice chimed in.

Logan ignored it for the moment.

Makino was lying quietly on the three-meter-wide bed, cheeks flushed pink.

She said nothing, just looked at him with those soft, teary eyes—full of blame and quiet resentment.

You bastard…

He'd said he'd teach her navigation skills…

But this definitely wasn't that.

"From now on, you're part of my crew. So you're mine. Don't worry—I'll take good care of you," Logan said softly, his voice gentle.

And he meant it.

He wasn't the kind of guy to "use and toss."

Give it time, and Makino would realize that.

Honestly, the "lesson" might've lasted four hours, but Logan knew very well that Makino's stamina was nowhere near Nami's.

So he'd adjusted his "teaching style."

With Nami, he could go all-out, barely stopping to rest.

With Makino, he had to slow things down—ease the pace to what she could handle.

"Mhm…" Makino murmured weakly, her voice soft and tired.

Logan quietly closed the door and turned toward Nami's cabin.

Why?

Of course—to claim his reward.

[Congratulations, Host! You've obtained a new skill—Teleportation!]

Teleportation?!

Logan's eyes widened with joy.

Back in his previous life, teleportation was a pretty basic power in fantasy novels.

But here, in the world of One Piece? That was broken.

He quickly opened the skill details.

Instant Movement – Within your perception range, instantly move to any location, ignoring physical barriers.

Spatial Anchor – You can mark a location as a coordinate and return to it instantly from anywhere.

In simpler terms:Short-range? Just blink there.Long-range? Use coordinates.

Logan nodded in satisfaction.

In this world, some people claimed to move at "teleporting speed," but it was just exaggeration—pure speed so fast it looked like teleportation.

Observation Haki could still track them.

But Logan's ability was the real deal.

True teleportation meant: as fast as thought itself.

Even if someone could sense his position, their body wouldn't react fast enough.

By the time they moved, he could already be halfway to Mariejois.

And when combined with his healing fruit? Practically unkillable.

Logan's grin widened.

He couldn't wait to see how strong he'd become once he'd "recruited" all the story's heroines.

At that point, even Imu would be no match for him—

Wait.

Wasn't Imu a woman?

…Guess killing her's off the table. He'd have to "conquer" her another way.

——

That night, the three of them—Logan, Nami, and Makino—sat around the dinner table.

Nami was eating like she hadn't seen food in days.

"Hey, slow down. Nobody's stealing your food," Logan said, rolling his eyes.

"But it's so good! Seriously, this is amazing!" Nami mumbled through a mouthful, then turned to Makino. "Makino, your cooking's way better than Logan's!"

She didn't forget to throw a jab at him while she was at it.

"Cut that last part," Logan sighed and flicked her on the forehead.

"Ow!" Nami winced, rubbed the spot, glared at him—and then went right back to stuffing her face.

The sight made Makino giggle softly.

She hadn't known Logan for long, but… he didn't seem like the man she'd met at the tavern earlier.

Was she imagining things?

"Makino," Logan said after a moment, "from now on, you're the official brewer and cook of the Logan Pirates."

He hadn't expected her cooking to be this good—beautiful presentation, amazing flavor, everything perfect.

"No problem," she replied with a gentle smile.

Honestly, she hadn't really had a choice from the moment she agreed to join his crew.

But she'd made peace with it.

And now that she'd already given Logan the most precious thing she had, she'd accepted him completely.

If cooking for him made him happy, that was enough.

"So, Captain," Makino said casually, "are we going to recruit more crewmates next?"

Right now, there were only three of them—not even enough for a proper pirate crew.

"That's right," Logan nodded. "Over the next while, we'll be traveling to different islands to find new members."

At that, Nami sighed dramatically. "Oh no… I can already imagine how many innocent, kindhearted girls you're going to corrupt."

Logan's face darkened instantly. "Nami. What did you just say?"

"J-just kidding! Captain, I was joking!" she squeaked, hands raised in surrender as Logan's hand twitched threateningly.

All female crewmates?

Makino froze for a second, recalling flashes of what had happened earlier that day.

Her cheeks flushed red.

Our captain… might be a little too… passionate.

Thanks to the kind soul who sent several thousand flowers!
