High above the peaceful forests of Mount Paozu, the sunlight glimmered gently across the calm rivers and rolling hills. Birds chirped, unaware of the storm gathering beyond the stars. But deep within the silence of that tranquil land, King Kai's voice echoed telepathically into the mind of his most cherished student.
"Goku! Listen carefully! You need to gather everyone—now! Something big is coming!"
Goku, who was sitting cross-legged on a boulder meditating—or pretending to—snapped his eyes open. "Huh? What's wrong, King Kai?"
King Kai's voice sounded unusually grim. "A powerful warlord is heading straight for Earth. His name is Duragon, and he's coming because of Razor!"
Goku blinked, confused, then stood up. "Razor? What does he have to do with it?"
"There's no time to explain! Bring Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo—everyone! Meet us at the Lookout immediately!"
The connection cut before Goku could ask more. Without a moment's delay, the Saiyan warrior touched two fingers to his forehead and vanished in an instant, appearing one after another across the globe. Within the hour, all of Earth's strongest defenders were making their way to Kami's Lookout.
The Lookout stood silent, bathed in sunlight and wind, until the familiar burst of ki flared in the sky as Goku landed, followed closely by Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, and the others. Each of them could feel it—the strange, divine pressure already present there.
Shin, the Supreme Kai, stood calmly near the edge of the marble platform, hands clasped behind his back. Beside him was Kibito, tall and imposing, scanning each warrior like a silent guardian.
"Thank you for coming, I am Shin, Supreme Kai of the Universe and this is my attendant Kibito." Shin said softly, his tone calm but weighty.
King Kai appeared beside him, his antennae twitching nervously. "I told you this was serious, Goku!"
Goku scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Yeah, you weren't kidding, huh?"
Vegeta crossed his arms, his sharp gaze flicking toward the strangers. "So who are these people… tch, they don't look so impressive."
Kibito's expression darkened slightly, but Shin raised a hand, silencing him. "Perhaps not in appearance, but power is not always measured by what the eyes see."
Piccolo stepped forward, he could feel the authority of supreme kai clearly, his cloak rippling in the wind. "Then tell Supreme Kai—what's happening?"
Shin's gaze softened, but before he could speak, another flare of energy appeared in the distance. It was cold, sharp, and familiar. Moments later, Razor descended with 18 beside him, landing silently on the platform.
The tension in the air immediately thickened.
"Why are you all gathered here? And what was that about the threat connected to me Goku?" Razor asked coolly, his black eyes scanning them one by one before stopping on Goku.
Goku grinned. "Hey, Razor! Glad you came! King Kai said there's this really strong guy coming to Earth. Said he's after you."
Razor folded his arms. "I don't recall making many friends out there."
Shin stepped forward, his calm presence filling the air. "You are the Saiyan known as Razor, correct?"
Razor turned to face him, silent for a moment before nodding once. "And you are?"
"I am Shin, the Supreme Kai of this universe."
Razor raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Never heard about you."
Shin ignored the tone and continued. "You killed one of Duragon's four generals—Tirax. Duragon now travels here with his remaining three generals. They will reach Earth in approximately three months."
The air fell deathly silent. Even Goku's grin faded slightly.
Razor's expression shifted from mild irritation to genuine surprise. "Tirax… a general?" He gave a short, disbelieving laugh. "That arrogant fool worked under someone?"
"Yes," Shin confirmed. "Duragon is a warlord who rules the Southern and Eastern part of Universe. His power dwarfs that of Tirax. He commands legions, and his generals are each capable of wiping out worlds."
Razor's eyes narrowed. "Then I'll leave Earth. If he's coming for me, then he will fight me at my chosen location."
The moment he said that, 18 smacked the back of his head. "Idiot!"
Razor blinked, rubbing his head. "What was that for?"
18 glared at him. "And what then? You think you can just fly off and face four monsters like Tirax alone? You'll get yourself killed!"
Razor frowned, his voice rising slightly. "And what am I supposed to do then, 18!? Stay here and get you killed instead?!"
The argument crackled like a live wire, the others glancing between them awkwardly. But before Razor could say more, Goku stepped forward, his usual grin returning. "Then let us help you!"
Razor turned sharply, his expression incredulous. "You? Help me? You couldn't even have defeated Tirax."
Vegeta smirked darkly. "Watch your tongue, Saiyan. You're not the only one who's been training."
Razor looked him up and down with mild disdain. "You are weaker than Tirax. He'd have killed you before you blinked."
Piccolo sighed, muttering, "Here we go again."
Before tempers could flare further, Shin raised a hand. "All of you, enough. You cannot fight Duragon as you are now. But you saiyans have potential, you all can train and prepare on my world."
Kibito frowned instantly. "My Lord, you can't be serious. No mortal has ever set foot upon the Sacred World of the Kais!"
Shin met his gaze firmly. "Perhaps it is time that changed. Goku, Vegeta, Razor, and Gohan—they all possess immense potential. If Duragon threatens all existence, then we cannot cling to old rules."
The gathered warriors stared at him in awe. Goku's eyes gleamed with excitement. "A new world to train on!? Count me in!"
Vegeta scowled but didn't hide his curiosity. "Tch. About time something actually challenged me."
But Razor remained still. His jaw clenched, his expression unreadable. "I don't need charity," he muttered.
"Razor…" 18's voice came soft, trembling. Everyone turned toward her. She looked nervous, fingers interlaced tightly. "There's something I need to tell you."
Razor turned toward her, puzzled by her sudden seriousness.
"I was going to tell you later," she said, voice barely above a whisper, "but with this danger coming… I can't wait anymore."
Her hand moved slowly to her stomach.
"I'm pregnant."
The words froze Razor in place. His mind went blank completely. For a long, silent moment, no one moved.
Goku's eyes widened, then his face broke into a bright, childlike grin. "Wow, congratulations, you two!"
But Razor didn't move. His heart thudded once—twice—before he whispered, "You're… what?"
18 smiled softly, her eyes glistening. "We're going to have a baby, Razor. And I want that child to be born in peace." She reached out, placing a hand gently on his chest. "So please… for once, let someone help."
Razor closed his eyes, his thoughts a storm. He had faced death, and cosmic threats without hesitation—but the thought of losing her, of losing the life they created, filled him with a fear he couldn't name.
When he opened his eyes again, there was no arrogance left—only quiet resolve.
"…Fine," he said finally. "For you… and for our child."
Shin smiled faintly. "Then it is settled. Prepare yourselves. In three days, we depart for the Supreme Kai's world."
As the wind whispered across the Lookout, the gathered warriors looked toward the sky—each feeling the weight of what was coming.
Somewhere in the endless dark of space, Duragon's warship cut through the stars, its engines roaring like thunder. His golden eyes glowed with malice as he whispered to himself—
"Razor… I'm coming."
