Swoosh!
A pillar of flame shot into the ceiling as Ozai opened his eyes. His throne room was dark, filtered with a red layer from the fire that burned as he looked up.
A soldier was on his knees in front of the throne, shivering as he delivered the letter from Azula to him. The soldier opened the letter and started reading.
[Dear Father, I am requesting an army to be sent to the Earth Kingdom. It's time we finally put our plans into action and conquer the Earth Kingdom! And also, you should know that the avatar is a waterbender, and she has a formidable warrior on her side. If we let them be, they could cause trouble for us. Place a bounty on him, and spread the news to every bounty hunter in the world.]
The soldier read out the letter, and Ozai on the throne narrowed his eyes, clenching his palms around his armrest as he finished listening to the letter.
"The avatar? Looks like that beam of energy was really doing something. Well, no matter. I will kill them all like the weak waterbenders they are," Ozai said with a smirk, disdain in his voice.
He was being benderist, and Ozai had no trouble showing that to everyone as he rested his chin on his fist. Ozai was a benderist, thinking that firebending was above all else.
"Send out letters of a bounty. I want their heads at my feet," Ozai said in a cold tone, and the soldier nodded before he was dismissed. Ozai was left alone, smiling as he looked at his palm.
"Soon, the entire world will know who it belongs to. Once Sozin's comet hits, I will destroy every obstacle in my way!" Ozai muttered, a crazed look in his pupils.
[Meanwhile, a week later...]
Boom!
Azula shot into the castle, and Bumi jumped up, dodging a massive swing of blue fire. A boulder sprang up from the ground, and Bumi chuckled as he kicked it.
Boom!
The boulder shot towards Azula like a cannon, and the air trembled before its weight and size. Azula smirked, her palms clapping together before a laser shot out of her hand.
Boom!
The massive boulder was shot into pieces, and the laser continued firing towards Bumi. Seeing the laser, Bumi barely moved out of the way, stomping down hard with his right foot.
Bang!
Azula groaned in pain as a stone spike shot up from the ground, scratching her on the leg. She jumped into the air and, with a tornado spin, kicked towards Bumi.
"Haaa!" Azula let out a scream, a dozen-meter-wide wall of blue fire enveloping the entire room as Bumi had no room to escape. The only thing he could do was surround himself with stone.
"He He Heee~ Wow, it's getting hot in here, I am starting to really sweat~," Bumi chuckled as a stone dome enveloped him, stopping his body from being burned to a crisp by the flames.
Azula grinned, continuing to shoot blue fire as the dome on the outside turned a bright red, turning into a liquid as it started to melt from her flames.
Her blue fire was more than half as hot as the surface of the sun; no material can take a bombardment from her flames without turning into magma or burning to ashes in an instant.
"Ready to give up, old man?!" Azula shouted with a victorious tone, and Bumi in the dome sighed as the inside of the Earth's wall turned red. He pushed his arms out, and the dome burst apart.
Bumi jumped back as the fire enveloped his spot, and he placed his arms into the air. A smirk crept onto his face, showing his teeth as he placed his hands up.
"You win, lady. My old bones may be able to take a beating, but they can't take a baking! Hehehe~." Bumi said with a chuckle, and Azula grinned before snapping her fingers.
From behind the room's door, Ty Lee and Mai burst through, placing cuffs on Bumi before trapping him inside a metal cage suspended in the air on a rope.
"Now that Omashu is in my hands. I can begin my plan. Tch! That lustful bastard won't even know what hit him," Azula said as she walked towards the throne before sitting down and placing one foot on the chair.
She rested her chin on her palm, her golden eyes narrowing into a glare as she felt the joy of conquering an entire city with her won hands. She smirked.
"When I get my hands on my rightful throne, I wonder how wonderful the feeling will be~," Azula thought, and her lips curled into a smirk. Mai and Ty Lee looked at each other and sighed.
In their minds, both know that the only reason Azula is doing this is to get the approval and love of her father. If she stops, then she would not get either, like she didn't get anything from her mother.
[Kyoshi Island.]
"Ah!" Sokka screamed in pain as Suki struck him in the back of his knee with her fan. He crumbled to the ground, the Kyoshi clothes on his body suiting his look.
Suki stood up straight, smiling as she watched Sokka pant on his back, a light sheen of sweat on his face. They have been training for over two hours now, and she was surprised at his stamina.
"Hahaha! Now that's entertainment. Watching a drag race is always so fun, especially when it looks like a psych ward show," Norrak laughed, hugging his belly as his eyes turned wet.
Katara was standing next to Norrak, but her eyes were closed, and a palm of Norrak's was resting on her back. She was off the ground by a few inches, manipulating the air to levitate.
"Stop saying that! This is not whatever a drag race is; I am merely learning how to fight!" Sokka shouted with a red face as the fan in his hands closed. Suki chuckled, and Katara sighed, leaning against Norrak.
Katara fell from the air, and Norrak looked towards her with a reassuring smile. Katara and he have been training together for four hours every day, and she spent an hour trying to learn the Kyoshi arts from Suki.
She was talented, even more so after becoming the avatar. Her talent bloomed, and she was able to fight back against Suki with pure arts in a mere week. But her real improvement lay in bending.
She could now manipulate air like a pro and could even mix it with waterbending in a fight.
"Ugh, why isn't it working? I can fly for about ten seconds, but then I become unstable and fall!" Katara said, her annoyance evident as she looked down at herself. Norrak sighed and glanced at her.
"Katara, create a pair of wings from water on your back, and use that as a tool for maintaining your balance," Norrak said as he made Katara look at him.
He realised that Appa's tail helps him maintain balance while flying, preventing him from falling or veering off course.
"Okay, but this is the last time, or I will not train his stupid skill anymore," Katara said as she closed her eyes.
"Good, now try it," Norrak said with reassurance.

A little time skip doesn't hurt anybody. Also, the next destination for Katara and Norrak is Omashu. What is Azula's plan?
