"Yeahhhh!!!" The crowd cheered at the top of their lungs. Food and snacks flew over, and Norrakc could not help but sigh as he looked around. Katara was doing the same, with wide eyes in amazement.
Ty Lee was in the air, flipping from one swing to the other, while the announcer on the ground even threw some fruits up into the air, aiming to hit Ty Lee.
Instead, she twisted like a butterfly in the air while kicking or biting down on the fruits. Sometimes, she overdrilled through a flaming hoop in the air before catching a swing.
This continued for almost an hour, with Ty Lee doing different things and amazing the crowd even more. Even Norrak had to admit that what she was doing was unlike anything he had ever seen in a circus in his previous life.
Finally, after a whole hour of doing acrobatics, flying through the air, and beginning to sweat up a whole lot. Ty Lee and the announcer finished the show.
The people began to stand so they could leave the circus since everything was over. Katara and Norrak also stood up, but they stopped as they saw Ty Lee running towards them.
"Wait up, you two!" Ty Lee called out with a smile, waving her hand. Norrak looked back, and he couldn't help but look a bit longer at what he saw; even Katara looked with narrowed eyes.
Ty Lee was sweaty, with her clothes sticking to her skin and outlining all her curves for their eyes. Her hair was a bit wet. Sticking to her forehead, her face was a bit flushed.
"Ty Lee? Great show, it was very exciting. So, what do you want to talk about?" Norrak said with a smile, and Ty Lee let out a deep breath as she caught her breath.
"Thanks! But the reason I stopped you both is because I want to invite you two to the castle of the king of this city!" Ty Lee said with excitement, her eyes shining.
"The King's castle? Why would he invite you into the castle?" Katara asked with a raised eyebrow, her arms crossed, and Norrak nodded his head, also confused as to why Bumi would do such a thing.
"Because the king wants me and the circus to put on a show just for him! Please, I want you two to come and see it, don't worry, I will talk to the king so he allows it, pretty please~," Ty Lee said with a smile, her eyes round as she begged.
'Even though Bumi is not a serious king, and is even more playful. He sure as hell would not invite a whole circus into his castle to put on a show for him...' Norrak thought in his head.
'The only thing I can think of is why Ty Lee is trying to bring me to the palace. The only reason that could be is because of one woman, Azula' Norrak's lips turned into a grin, and he almost chuckled.
"Sure, we would love to go~ In the meantime, how about you come with us to explore the city? We were about to go eat," Norrak nodded, agreeing to her request while putting in a request of his own.
"What?!"
"Huh?"
Katara looked at Norrak with a questioning look, her voice filled with confusion and a bit of annoyance. Ty Lee, on the other hand, raised her eyebrows, her cheeks reddening.
'I mean, I shouldn't... but I just can't refuse him while his eyes are looking at me!' Ty Lee thought with a shudder as she tried to look away from Norrak's eyes.
"Norrak! Why would you invite her to explore the city with us? She is a stranger, and she is not even a bender," Katara said with a glare at Norrak, and Norrak nodded in understanding.
Norrak looked at Ty Lee with an apologetic look before taking Katara away to gain a bit of distance to talk to her alone. Katara followed with a huff of annoyance.
"Listen, Katara. She is not a circus performer; she is likely part of the Fire Nation, trying to spy on us," Norrak said as he leaned down next to her ear to talk.
"What? Then that's more of a reason to not have her be anywhere near us!" Katara said while pointing at her. She spoke loudly, but the wind did not carry her voice.
She created a vacuum around them, making it so that no air is going around them that could transfer sounds to Ty Lee. Her mastery of airbending is getting stronger and stronger.
"No, that's an even worse idea. It would allow Ty Lee to set up her plans. While if she is with us, we could have tracked her movements," Norrak refused her idea and instead proposed his own.
"So, what? We get her to follow us every day until we leave the city, or we get an Earthbending teacher?" Katara asked with a frown, her arms crossed, inadvertently pushing her chest up.
"Yes, we have her following us. Let's get back to her before she begins to suspect anything," Norrak said, turning to walk back to Ty Lee. Katara sighed and followed.
"Sorry for making you wait, Ty Lee. By the way, we never told you our names. My name is Norrak, and she is called Katara," Norraks aid, introducing themself.
"Oh! That's totally fine, so. Should we go, or can I take a bath first?" Ty Lee said with a smile, pulling on her top as it stuck to her skin. Katara glared, and Norrak chuckled.
"Sure, we will wait for you right here," Norrak said, and Ty Lee thanked them before running towards the back of the circus. A few minutes later, she walked back fresh, her hair still a bit moist from bathing.
"Now I am ready, ready to go and eat some food?" Ty Lee asked with a smile, her voice was full of excitement. Even though this was not in her plans, she felt eager to walk with Norrak.
She had never done this before, and even though another girl was with the two of them, Ty Lee decided that this must be a date since he asked her to come eat with them.
'Does he... Like me as well?! No, don't overthink Ty Lee, and besides, I don't know what the relationship with that girl is... Not like I care about that,' Ty Lee thought, giggling in her mind.
"Yeah, sure. Let's go. I saw a restaurant along the way, let's go and try their food," Norrak turned around, and he started leading the way. Katara followed, and then Ty Lee.
